An idea for a Weight Gain/Inflation adventure RPG

Hello there, you can call me Retrac & I got this idea for a Weight Gain/Inflation RPG that I wanted to put out there for anyone who wants to make it a reality.

The setting is a interdimensional mansion that is not barred by the rules of reality, and within said mansion there lies a peverted demon who seems ok on the surface but wants to see people get big, boys, girls, doesn’t matter, he wants anything humanish to grow into sizes that break the known limiter. This demon decided to make the mansion so he can perform his acts in secret, creating an army of wierd monsters & laying down a multitude of traps to further satisfy his undying lust for BIGs.

There can be 3 characters to start with but can go up to 10 if you wish to, with a new character per chapter that can focus on a different kind of growth, the first 3 are human women who gets a big waist, butt, and…breasts (I’m not too interested in that 3rd one), though the butt one could be male if you so desire.

For the fetish type, I would like to see at least 10 stages for weight-gain & inflation so I can admire that slow growth (with that last stage counting as a death via immobility or popping, in which the closest save crystal can help cure those unfortunate fools), but the player will only start with the limit of 5 stages, with the extra sizes being upgrades to your durability (if ya know what I mean). And I want this sweet inflation to be paired up with “cutish” 2D art. (Oh yeah, your weight/Inflation bar is supposed to be the health bar in this adventure, and they are split between 2 bars so the damage of a certain enemy or trap can go to one of the bars.)

Now about the adventure itself, I would like it to be a more explorative game, like a metroidvania that comes with a map so you can see where you are.
And if you wish to do so then you could add in an easy mode which removes all that grinding nonsense for those (like myself) who just want to see girls get BIIIIIIG.

…I think I got everything in mind down. But yeah, this is my idea, an idea I only thought up since I felt like this site lacked such a game. And if anyone wants to take on the challenge of making it a reality, be my guest because I don’t got the skills nor the will to persue it myself. Oh, and one last thing, keep my name a secret from the wider public who might stumble thier way in, I really don’t want the “normal” people to know I have this fetish.

This idea was in my head for a while and I just wanted to take a chance & throw it out there so sorry if it doesn’t sound too original, this was just the type of game I thought would satisfy my lil…urge for uh…growing 2D ladies.
Of course it’s open to any suggestions, and this was my 1st time being so open about this for a game format. If you guys got any ideas, I would like to hear them.
That Lythesia game was actually pretty close, thier rpg formula was great, buuuuuuut it was short of sizes & the fat art…well it was 3D and I’m not much of a fan for clunky 3D models.
I just preferred different stuff, and when I didn’t see anything close to my vision, I thought up something quickly to try and give ideas. But…yeah, I could help with some random ideas in case ya want some. If you’re interested…let me know…

Hey, I don’t mean to be rude but… this isn’t going to happen.

TONS of ideas get posted. TONS of popular games are abandoned by the original developer(s) and no one picks them up even if they could make a quick profit off updating an already partially complete project.

I have 10 years general game development experience and 4 years programming experience. I can tell you for certain that, just like every other game or idea on this website, nothing will get done unless you are the one to go out, learn programming, make friends with other developers, and create your own game with your own hands. I learned that the very hard way, and I hope you don’t have to as well.

We’re all trying to make our dream games a reality. Unfortunately, no one’s going to do your work for you. You can either forge your own path ahead or decide that this isn’t what you want to spend your life doing. It’s a long and frustrating road, and it certainly isn’t for everyone. I recently joined a team for a project I’m doing on the side and I had to completely rewrite half their game concept and remove or change many of the core features simply because they were too new to game development to really understand proper game design and what really makes a fun, engaging, and interesting game.

If you’re really willing to go for it, I can at least give some advice or answer some questions if you’d like. Ask me anything.

Well…then all I have to say is, I tried. Thanks for telling me the reality upfront. I’ll…delete this post if need be. It’s not gonna go too far in my hands anyway since it isn’t my focus. I can’t really draw fat, and I don’t know how to work out a game, all I can do is draw a map/normal characters & come up with ambitious ideas. I just wanted to give someone an idea so I could have a game that could possibly satisfy that urge I’m desiring. But if it’s not possible, then oh well.

Everyone starts somewhere. In the beginning, I was just a depressed and traumatized child from a poor family. Now, I am… a depressed and traumatized adult from a poor family… but I’ve learned many skills since then as a result, even if I was only doing it as an escape from reality back then.

You don’t need every skill to start out. You just need to learn basic game design and programming, then start on some small projects to learn and move up from there. Plus, if you really want art, if you’re already good at normal characters, drawing fat characters isn’t that much harder.

It takes a lot of dedication, though. If you don’t really want to put in the time or effort then that’s perfectly understandable.

EDIT: Also, meeting other people and learning alongside them is pretty good. If you have someone who can do things that you can’t then you can focus more on what you can do.

I wouldn’t delete the post tbh. There are tons of ideas posted that don’t have anything done with them, but it’s not really a crime. And hey, maybe there’s a small chance you’ll come back someday and work on this

I just didn’t want this to feel like a waste of space.
But yeah, I may just continue this as just an idea in the back of my head, like my other non fetish game/drawing projects. I can still draw characters, monsters, & maps. Though about my character pictures, they are drawn in a certain style that’s pretty different from the basic 101.
I’ll show you how I draw humanoid characters by drawing a T-posing base and from there you guys could guide me on how I should alter that drawing style to work with…bigger bodies.
But other than that, I’ll continue to post any idea that pops in mind for this adventure and see what ya’ll think about them.
(Note: I was pretty regretful at first realizing that I couldn’t immediately delete my mistake, but today I decided to look on the positive and see how I can expand this into a true ambitious adventure.)

And before I go, here are the 1st 3 playable characters I thought up. Yes they’re all girls before you ask.

For the Waist Expansion, I thought up a shy girl called Lucia who will inherit the traits of a Sorcerer.
She used to be married but was dumped for gaining a bit of wait (kinda dumb reason I know), so now she’s led into the mansion which has taken the shape of a restaurant so she can cope with her loss through eating. BUT THE FOOD WAS DRUGGED so she ended up passing after eating a single plate. Later she wakes up due to feeling a needle poke into her skin, (this needle held an expansive syrem that boosts the speed of an expanding body, allowing the victims to grow and shrink quickly) before getting a tube stuck into her mouth to be forcibly inflated until she pops. When she escapes, she figures out what she needs to do, cure herself of the syrem & escape this accursed place.

For the Butt Expansion, I thought up the usually kind and independent (don’t need no man), Rhoncra who will inherit the axe wielding traits of the Beserker. She is usually a nice and fair lady who has trained in boxing ever since she was but a young lad, becoming a state champion within records time. But while her life was running a good track, she caught eye of the mansion which has taken the shape of a casino and felt like betting that life for some extra change to celebrate her next big win with, and while she did hit the jackpot, she wasn’t able to leave with the money as a trapdoor opened up right as she approached the door, dropping her into a deep dark hole.
When Lucia finds her (not too far after she escaped), Rhoncra was already being fattened towards immobility but was able to break out easily once woken up as she was only at stage 3 & her muscles were still in peak condition. Once she escaped her prison, she realized that the money she had was a giant scam and now she wants to deliver deadly payback for not only tricking her, but subgegating her to this peverted form of torture, NOW SHE’S MAD & will use her extreme strength to break down any obstacle in her way.

And for the…ugh, breast expansion, I thought up the self assertive Letafin, who currently has no memory of her true self but somehow kept the attitude problem. She…is no longer human.
When she was human, she was one of the most popular girls on social media before falling into that one pit that caused her to become a washed up has been. Desperately seeking the attention she once had, she made a deal with the devil and ended up regretting that decision as her body was forcibly fattened into immobility with no chance for escape. Once fattened, her mind was forcibly ejected and installed into the brain chip of a slave bot whose only purpose is capture any escapees & forcibly expand them so they can join the cause. But when it met Lucia & Rhoncra, they beat the (beep) out of her and caused her command chip to pop out, allowing Letafin to regain control over herself and assist with thier escape. Since she is now one of the slave bots, she can cause expansive status conditions upon her foes and allow our playable cast to grow in size if it is needed, she can also hack the system to override any security. Though for some reason, some idiot made it that even the robots can get bigger (probably the bossman demon) so you better watch her weight too, she won’t be able to help if she can’t move.

And that’s all the playable characters I thought up so far, what do ya think?

Oh and about how Lucia & Rhoncra is able to get those abilities. When they escaped thier prisons, they found a pair of slave bots that have already been busted up by…something, and thier memory chips were knocked out. When the girls picked them up, the owners of these chips were able to reform themselves holographically so they can talk to the girls directly. One being a simple old wizard, while the other is a huge Man-Shark king. They describe thier anger & regret for how the demon tricked them into becoming immobile and want to pass thier knowledge & abilities over to the girls, so they ask them to bite the chips. And with that, the clothes of the girls digitally transform to match the outfit of the mind’s owner as they gain all the abilities of the previous host on top of thier own. With Lucia becoming a Sorcerer & Rhoncra becoming a Beserker. With these new abilities in hand, they are ready to take on whatever challenge the mansion could throw thier way.

If you get pictures of the weight gain levels, monsters , etc I could work with you on a very simple starter game.

In my opinion, most important thing you should be focusing on to begin with is gameplay and scope. If you really want this to get done at some point, you need something small and manageable, and this does look like a game that can be small and manageable. Wouldn’t require much programming work if you’re just making a simple game where you explore the mansion, dodge enemy attacks, and avoid traps for the gameplay then slowly introduce new mechanics. Even a beginner could do a decent job at that, especially with all the tutorials out there.

Story comes after gameplay generally. Most of the time, story should be shaped by gameplay rather than the other way around. This is something most beginners tend to mess up.

As for what you wrote? It’s pretty good. Way better than most on this site. This game could be pretty big if it really comes out. This seems very heavy on art, though. You’re going to want to either find an artist to help or start doing a lot of practice.

Yes, if it is to much art. We can start off with a much smaller game so it would be a lot less art required.

What do mean by simple starter game? I just need an idea of what you mean so I can understand what you’re thinking.

Yeah, my ideas for an adventure are pretty ambitious, with a quest through many environments, a grand climax against a giant beast who seeks to rule the world, and in this case, plenty of small traps to plump up from. I tend to think up the epic final battles pretty quickly then work my way up to it. Even if it may just be a game where the characters get BIIIG.

Yes, if the game gets popular enough we can go into more details on it. For now let’s do 1 character with 3 weight gain levels. 2-3 monsters. This will make it much easier for art for you to obtain at the moment. When you have the art ready let me know.

Yeah, he doesn’t even know how my character art tend to look. Let’s get that down first before making the decision.

Experience is important too. Someone who’s brand new will often end up dragging down a project rather than being helpful. I have a lot of experience with people like that.
