Not referring to furries, by the way! Cat girls and fox girls and cow girls, and all that.

This is a little introduction post I made that also doubles as a bit of a space for people like me to come together and interact and maybe make some friends!

Feel free to skip my boring introduction if you’d like.

Boring Introduction About My Life

Up until around a year ago, I just kind of assumed I was the only animal girl (yes we exist hiii :3) in existence. It made sense at the time. Only reason I ended up this way was surely because (cw: abuse) I was abused for my entire childhood and coped by imagining living in another world (also how I became a good writer) and no one else could possibly just, like, want to be weird like me, right…?

It was really lonely. There were so many people in the world, yet none of them talked like me or acted like me except for characters people made up for stories. I had to act like a normal person around everyone (I still am for this post) and hide what I was on the inside because it’s not considered acceptable to be a cat girl in society. All the main characters in weight gain stuff were all just the same generic male feeders, or in some cases, maybe a few girls. Occasionally, there would even be a character creator, but of course, who would want to play as a cat girl, right?

Clarification: I understand you can’t just add random features to represent every single little minority. My point is more that I’m lonely and there really aren’t many games in this niche that I can enjoy because I can’t relate to most of the characters. Do consider writing a couple more animal girls in your games, however. It would be appreciated.

…And then I discovered that, apparently, other animal girls do exist? And they’re also all tummy-loving, lesbian trans girls who meow and nya all the time like me? …Is there an Aimi cloning lab somewhere or something?

From then on, I started realizing, actually, we’re suddenly popping up everywhere?

Unfortunately, by the time I found out, I was already really badly traumatized from abuse and couldn’t really make friends in any public places because I was too traumatized to be comfortable around most people. The forum is a slight exception. I had to use it for my job (can’t get a normal job when I will throw up at the sight of another person in real life) so even though I still feel slightly sick and anxious, I’ve gotten a little better at handling the forum specifically.

I made this post since I wanted to learn about others in the community and make friends, as well as give others like me a little thread to introduce yourself to others. Most people reading this are probably just straight guys who are confused what a real life animal girl even is. Well, feel free to lurk and find out, but I’d like to keep this thread mainly for other animal girls to meet each other. Also, if you know any others, please tell them to check out this post!

All animal girls welcome! Whether you just like it as a little bit of your personality on the side, you just do it as some fetish, or it’s your whole gender, or even if you’re considering if you might be one, you’re welcome here.

    • My last name, which I won’t reveal, is coincidentally very fitting for a cow girl.

    • More of a cow on the outside, very cat-like on the inside.
  • Gender: I’d say catgirlgender is closest.
    • For a long time I didn’t realize it was part of my gender, but I actually get gender dysphoria from the fact that I don’t have animal ears and a tail in real life, as well as when I have to suppress my personality to write like this.
      • It is quite a struggle writing this.
  • Sexuality: Asexual Lesbian
    • Sex is kind of yucky to me but I love soft squishy bodies. Especially boobs.
  • Relationship Status: Taken but open to poly.
  • Fetishes: Weight gain and lactation mainly, plus a little vore and pregnancy.
  • Fetish Status: Feedee, planning on making milk soon-ish. Lost a lot of weight because I lost access to my stomach medication for a while but I should be better in a month.

I’m Aimi, a cat girl and a cow girl, as well as a pretty experienced programmer (6 years). I started game development when I was 9 (11 years) since games were my escape from… stuff that happened back then. I’m pretty autistic but all of my friends say I’m adorable and really nice, although I have trouble understanding most people sometimes.

I’m also a 3D modeler, artist (check pfp :3), UI designer, writer, and a bunch of other things… Surviving 11 years of solo development does things to you…

Coincidentally, I have a ton of cat-like traits:

  • I can see in the dark unnaturally well.
    • It looks really gray, though, like if all the color went away.
  • I love milk to the point that it’s probably an addiction.
    • I drink like half a gallon a day. Zero plain water.
      • The fridge usually has like 3 or 4 gallons on the bottom shelf.
    • Only whole milk, though. Skim milk and other percentages feel… off.
  • I will “nya” involuntarily at times, mainly when sighing, after sneezing, or when really relaxed.
  • I run around the house randomly and exercise a lot (despite my size).
    • It’s good to stay healthy! Exercise is fun, too, once you’re used to it.
  • I really like to cuddle people and be rubbed or touched… platonically of course.
  • Headpats make me irrationally happy.
  • And more…

No idea if this counts, but my go-to roleplay character was a cat girl for years, so maybe I’m a bit of a cat girl?. I don’t know how to talk about myself very much though… I guess I’m cat-like, I tend to be either hyperfocused on a thing or the total opposite and being very lazy. I like to write and draw, though I haven’t done nearly enough of either.

It’s nice to see others around here. I’m pretty similar in some ways.

It seems we both dislike generative AI. I’m a pretty big AI hater and I participated in some of the anti-AI threads around here that pop up occasionally but I’m notoriously awful at arguing and it’s pretty bad for my mental health in general so I don’t directly participate any more.

It’s actually my personal goal to make it easier to develop games on the forum so that, at the very least, AI loses popularity even if it isn’t banned entirely (though I still wish they would ban it when it’s obviously stealing art from real artists).

I used to be working on a 3D model which was free for everyone to use and could be fattened up and also came with some assets which could easily be attached or removed like hair styles and animal ears and all that. It actually went pretty well but I got really severe burnout since 3D modeling really isn’t my thing.

Is there anything you work on? How about games you like on the forum?

Well I’m a dev for a Terraria fat mod on this forum! I’ve also played like nearly every (non-AI) game on here, even games in languages I can’t read!

I like making fatass models for Minecrap too! I’ve worked on a weight gain script for the Minecraft mod Figura!

Sorry for the late reply. I have pretty severe PTSD (cPTSD specifically) so sometimes I need a while before I’m mentally well enough to reply to someone in public. Especially since I’ve been really stressed recently, as I’m getting kicked out of my house in just two more weeks.

That sounds very interesting. I checked it out and it seems really cool. I play Terraria on occasion but I’m more into less pixelated weight gain, although player weight gain is my favorite so I might try it out some time.

I think it’s really interesting that you play them in languages that you can’t read. It’s my hobby to study other cultures and languages (currently really into studying the Aztecs and the Nahuatl language) but it’s pretty hard for me to really play or read something in another language since I can’t really understand the story that well even if there’s art. I have a friend from Ireland and a friend from Iran and they probably think I’m weird for asking so many random questions about their country and their culture and language.

The most I’ve done is a few games Japanese and Spanish. I have a decent understanding of Japanese grammar since I was raised by my mom (half Japanese) and she always put on a lot of anime so I can understand it decently well. My girlfriend (lesbian) is half Mexican and says some things in Spanish sometimes and it really inspired me to learn more about the language, though my understanding is still pretty basic (but I can understand “panza grande” at least).

I wish there were more games that showed off less represented cultures. Fantasy stories of knights and dragons and all that are pretty cool the first dozen times, but I’ve gotten a little tired of the generic western fantasy worlds everywhere. I like to write fantasy stories based off Japanese mythology, personally, since it feels like my culture, though I’m only a quarter Japanese. If you’re curious, I’m 50% Native American, 25% Japanese, 12.5% Italian, and I’m not quite sure about the last bit.

Anyways… maybe that was a bit too long of a rant…

You seem to enjoy sandbox games quite a bit. I think you’d like my main game. It’s pretty similar to Minecraft, though with more inspirations from RPGs and fantasy.

It’s 3D and has editable smooth terrain using a pretty complicated technique called signed distance field. Basically, there’s a 3D grid where each point on the grid, rather than being either a block or air, has a float (decimal) value which is basically how “filled” the point is, and then those numbers are all thrown into the “mesher” which uses some complex algorithms to create a shape out of those numbers. Then there is a material ID value which is just which material (out of 256 maximum terrain materials) the point is.

As you can see… I’m kind of more on the computer science side of game development… Most people don’t really understand what I’m saying at all most of the time so don’t feel bad if that made zero sense.

Oh, right, the game. It’s on hold as I’m currently dying from being unable to afford my important medications (surviving on 1/4 dose at the moment) so I’m working on a “fundraising” game. My PTSD prevents me from getting a normal job because I will actually throw up if I try to talk to people most of the time so this is full time for me.

Thank you very much. I was actually really scared posting that because I wasn’t really doing it as much in the formal tone that I do to be accepted. It is actually really painful for me to really heavily suppress my personality like this but it’s the only way I can be accepted in public and maybe make friends who can eventually accept who I actually am.

I would really enjoy another friend. I get lonely a lot because I shut myself off from the public a long time ago and then cut ties with almost everyone because of the pain and trauma. I’m an extrovert who really enjoys talking to people so it was really painful and I almost died multiple times but I eventually accepted the loneliness and learned to live with it.

I don’t know if someone could really accept me, though… I get depressed a lot as well and people don’t really like that. I don’t want to make people sad any more.

I have converted multiple people in the past, all somewhat accidentally (but consensually). There are a surprising number of people recently just like “whoa thats cute… can i be one too?” after discovering the existence of cat girls and other animal girls.

I’m sure a lot of people would appreciate there being one more. If you’re really interested then check out catgirlwawa, which I mentioned in the original post. It is pretty much the place for silly animal girls or people who want to “explore their identity” a little more.

Oh, I am too, actually. I have some weird stomach issue (might be gastroparesis?) so it used to be really hard to eat so I’m still relatively small but I found a medication that works to fix it, though it’s expensive so I’m currently having to survive on 1/4 dose.

My goal is fairly high but I do my best to take care of my health since living a long happy life is a pretty important to me. I would write a dozen more paragraphs but I’m starting to feel a little depressed at the moment so it’s hard.

Anyways, I’m pretty tired, so I should really get to bed. It is past 9 pm here and I’m on the border of a mental breakdown but fortunately, I take melatonin so I just collapse before it gets too bad.

I don’t actually particularly care for Minecraft and Terraria for their sandbox elements, I like modding them and progression and such! In terms of weight gain I really want to be 500+ pounds… a big soft girl! Unfortunately I don’t really have the money to accomplish that >.<

Ur game seems cool tho! Even if I can barely read the documentation >.<

Oh, I see. What is it that you like about modding them and the progression and all that? I could always use a little more inspiration for my own game and I like to study what people find fun about games so I can use it to improve my own games.

I’m actually trying to structure it to be very easy to mod and it’s fully open source as well so if you have any advice as a modder on what could make it easier to mod then I would appreciate it.

Just make sure you take good care of your health. I used to be aiming for 600 lbs but after my girlfriend had some issues at around 250, I reconsidered and aimed more around the 400-450 range and I take good care of my health so I don’t have issues like she did. Her problem was mostly that she didn’t exercise (I exercise a lot) and ate a lot of unhealthy foods (whereas I actually feel sick if I eat sugar or heavily processed foods).

Both health and the cost are actually pretty dependent on how good you are at cooking. Food can be cheap if you’re good at making nice fattening meals out of simple ingredients like spaghetti noodles with butter and spices. It does still cost more if you want to be healthy but if you’re good at cooking then it costs a lot less.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I’m definitely more on the science-y side of programming so don’t worry if you can’t understand the documentation or anything. I have a lot of experience in more theoretical and complex systems so it’s really simple to me but it’s probably super complicated to others. I spend like at least an hour a day just thinking about theoretical game systems and how to program them because it’s what I find fun.

The game itself should be fairly easy to understand. Gather resources, fight monsters, build a nice home, defend it, loot a labyrinth for better gear, explore to find rarer resources, and more.

The fetish content will be built on top of that since my biggest priority is making a fun and replayable game, and then adding fetish content in little modules that can be added and removed like mods. I will probably be using the native modding system in the engine for that.
