Hey everyone! I’ve been wondering, where do you usually hear about new game releases and gaming news? I feel like I’m often the last to know about cool new games, and by the time I see a trailer or read a review, people are already talking about it everywhere. I used to rely on a couple of big sites, but lately, I feel like they miss a lot of indie releases or even early news on major titles. I’d love to hear what sites or channels you guys follow to stay on top of things—blogs, social media, YouTube channels? Would be great to get some fresh ideas!

Videos about popular games often appear for me in TikTok. Also, news about popular games you can find on any sites which focused on game industry, but finding a good non-popular game is hard and I have no idea how people search for such games. For example a few days ago Steam recommended me a game named as “Wayfinder”, because I played in “Enshrouded”. I didn’t even hear about this Wayfinder and looks like this game isn’t popular, but I tried it and I like it a lot. It’s like an emerald in the pile of garbage that has been released for the last few years. I guess “Steam” recommendations is the best way to look for good games, but you need to check reviews and not always this reviews help. For example a few days ago new “Dragon age: The Veilguard” released. According to reviews in Steam this new Dragon age is a fine game, but after I tried to play in it I found that most of positive reviews are fakes. There is no possible way a gamer would like this Dragon Age trash and make a positive review if not just for trolling.

I like this question as I have the same issue and I search a lot of times. Then I can be really picky. Usually I search the random things I like about video games and go Deon there. Often times I just luck out and find a game that’s super old to everyone else. But hey better late then never right?
It is really depends on genre you like, if i advise you something, it doesn’t mean you will like it. I like to play mostly single player based games like ME series and/or FF series, but i also like to actually play online games like Brawl Stars with all of their unlimited gems and skins https://getnullsbrawl.com you know, what is the most fascinating thing for me there is having fun with other.
