Now that Yodayo has entirely gotten rid of NSFW, I want to find another site where I can chat for free and have a similar level of quality/ability to roleplay and stuff. I know you can “break” c.ai for lewder RP or fat stuff, but I’d rather not go through the trouble. Any recommendations for other AI chat sites?
(Also, my computer is not good enough to host locally.)

Just swung by Yodayo, and I still see the same wall of perversion that was always there, unless I’m totally missing something.
Exactly what happened. You can’t even chat in private with lewd stuff anymore. It’s really dumb and I can’t even tell where the exodus is going because of the heavy censorship in the Yodayo subreddits.

I’m trying it and it’s not bad per se but the memory is pretty rough for free users. Janitor ai is also not bad but it also has similar issues of getting off-track that Yodayo didn’t have nearly as often.
That is a real shame. One of the reasons I liked using Yodayo, even though it was a little light in wg content (at least it wasn’t easy to find because no one uses tags well), was that it actually remembered details pretty well.
I remember I made the mistake once on character.ai of making a PC with a large family. That was a terrible idea, lol. It never was able to keep anything straight.
I do hope I can find something on a similar level as Yodayo. Keeping all the little details and cogs in the machine is something you don’t appreciate until you move to somewhere different and the bot forgets your whole relationship with them.
An addendum I’ll add is that there’s free Proxies and LLMs out there that make Janitor way less wack than default Janitor. Trying out CosmosRP and that’s working out better than the various free sites I’ve tried out, at least until someone makes Yodayo 2 or something.
As a sign of how thoroughly Yodayo has been cleansed of NSFW content, in a chat I was playing, I typed the word “erotic.” Nothing was happening in that scene, absolutely nothing. Just two people chatting as they looted an abandoned store after the apocalypse. That one word alone was enough to make the site say, “Sorry, can we talk about something else,” and refuse to move past it.
Yeah, yodayo is basically dead at this point.

Another good option is janitor ai, as it’s completely free, no points or anything.
I actually created a ton of chatbots for Yodayo (about 20) but all my explicit and w.g. ones have been forcefully privated. so i’m moving all my bots to caveduck and janitor.
What’s really weird is that I was doing some experimentation on Yodayo the last couple days, and for whatever reason, it didn’t try to censor the NSFW stuff at all. I also found you could easily do the fat fetish stuff, just so long as you didn’t include sex in anyway.
Word on the subreddit is that the filter is off during server migration.

Yes, the chat filter isn’t very strong, but what they’ve done is they’ve made it so that only followers can communicate with “R” rated bots. Bots that have weight gain themes or have images of bikinis and, revealing, yet censored wear have mostly been unlisted. Also, they’ve increased the price it costs to talk to bots and such. Honestly janitor.ai seems like a much better site now, the boys are not very smart but they seamlessly follow instructions and are completely limitless which is nice.
YODAYO focuses on hentai chat, as it does not support NSFW anymore, i prefer to use an alternative chatbot such as GPTgirlfriend

I tried GPT Girlfriend a little while ago. IMO, even if you pay, it’s one of the poorer bots out there. May be NSFW, but it’s really bad at realistic chat, and can get very very repetitive very fast. It’s also very forgetful.
If it’s free, I’ll take a gander. I see “token” and I get nervous unless I can stockpile however many like Yodayo (rip). I’ve gotten more used to Janitor as its API has improved, but wow this service is SO wordy.
