Anyone else into gaming computers?

I was wondering if I am the only one on here that is into gaming pc’s.

If you are asking if anyone games on PC or has a gaming PC I think you will find there are a fair few on here that do.

oh yeah i got

Processor: intel i7 8400k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060
2.5TB of ssd memory
16GB of RAM

CPU: Intel i5-6400
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 16GB
I am on gaming PC too. Actually I am a console hater.

I just got into pc gaming and my pc I bought at a yard sale. (yeah it actually was) my stats are decent but old
CPU: intel i5-2400
GPU: GTX 1050 (I bought this separate for $60)
RAM: 16GB
I only paid around $150 ish or so so I cant complain

Considering this is a forum dedicated to game development I would expect there to be more than a few here who play games on PC. More stats for the impromptu hardware survey this is becoming:
CPU: i5-4690
GPU: GTX 960 2GB
RAM: 16GB DDR3

I think your CPU should be upgraded sometime soon especially with the graphics games have nowadays but I’m sure you could play any game on medium which isn’t really too bad

yeah ive been looking at newer i5 cpu’s

Mine’s a bit old, but still runs things pretty well:

CPU: i7-4790K
GPU: MSI GTX 980 Ti Golden Edition
RAM: 32 GB DDR3 2400
1.5 TB SSD, 4 GB HDD

You’re a little limited by your socket there, Donny, although it looks like there’s some decent deals on the better i7 chips from that era. If you’re going the complete rebuild route you should seriously consider a Ryzen instead, AMD has really bounced back from the slump they were in for a while and their recent stuff is actually good again.

yeah I even thought of ryzen but ive seen a newer i5 and motherboard for a decent price recently.

I custom-ordered mine not too long ago after my old one had its hard drive fail.

CPU: i7 8700K 6-Core
GPU: Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
RAM: 64GB DDR4 3000 MHz
2TB SSD, 1TB HDD

I wouldn’t say ‘into’, since I also bought my current pc a while ago for practical reasons (light rendering, GIS mapping, video editing, etc) but…

i5-6700k
1070 GTX
2x16GB DDR4 3200
250GB SSD, 1TB SSD, 2x1TB HDD (RAID 1) 2TB backup HDD

@donnyboi I would suggest waiting for cyber monday next year if you can, when 10nm CPU availability goes up and possibly even 7nm become available, unless you are ok with buying a build that could soon be 2 generations behind. Both manufacturers are moving pretty fast between platforms atm and RAM prices are also inflated.
