you need to talk to the guy that talks to you when you cross the first Bridge in Glutton’s Cove.
oh,i dont know why i thought she was in chapter 1, thanks
ah, that would explain it, and no problem, hope you enjoy the current release!
Chapter 2 is pretty much done, there was abit of backstory of the current main characters along with flashback segments of three of the four current playable ones, but I feel I did one of them dirty, so I’m having an in-between chapter made to give her a proper flashback…and introduce a new character that I’m certain everyone will love! or not
Can’t wait to get Fjorn even fatter.
Do you plan on making her grow bigger too or just fatter
there will be an event in the second act of Chapter three where due to some activation phrase shenaniganry she does grow taller
Nice, looking forward to it
New Update folks! get ready for some Backstory stuff, Phantasia finally has an ending, and some exposition, flashbacks, and setting things up! also Amelia gets fat, and Fjorn gets alot fatter
I’m stuck on the part with the door code. Does anyone know what it is?
a hint for it is in that one chest in the nature garden, I think Amelia makes an observation about how all the gals on the magazine covers all have huge Boobs… but if you just want the code, it’s 58008
I have a request, since it’s probably not easy to make some sort of shortcut back to the where the previous content left of, in the future if this happens again could you make it possible to obtain the gun and then get rid of it later? Using the gun is probably the best way to play through the old content without repeating the grind but it can be a little too tempting to continue to use it beyond that point. Maybe a return point in the obelisk or a trash can in the mansion? Or perhaps a “Conspicuous Gun” item could be offered in the test room as an alternative. It acts the same as the normal gun except that a bouncer in front of the new content will snatch it away from you before letting you pass, if you wanted to be humorous about it. Just a suggestion if you wanted to help out with the replay grind while also keeping people honest.
hm… I could always have an event occur before new content that takes the gun away, do you think I should do the same with the other testing tools?
Cool chapter
Now that Fjorn is no longer pretending to be a good guy, can’t wait to see how fat and big she gets
I think the option to do that would be welcomed as well. I focused on the gun since it felt like it affected things the most but I am sure some people take all the items to get to that new content.
I appreciate you being willing to entertain the idea!
more like she no longer has any qualms about eating folks. but yeah, with Ceola added to the mix, Folks’ personalities are going to get alot worse (as in better).
no prob and thanks for suggesting it! ^u^
The new content was good, I feel like you maintain a good balance of combat where it requires light resource management but never felt like a slog or substantial challenge. I like each girls personality, I do feel like Sunny ended up leaning further and further into Lilly as the update went on and having a bit more independence might help her.
Some constructive points - I feel like Fjorn’s weight gain is well done but Amelia’s isn’t. Thinking of why I felt like that I came to the conclusion that Fjorn gains as a result of giving in to her vices - the player is rewarded for her corruption while Amelia just gained, it didn’t feel related to her corruption or actions and felt sort of hollow.
Related to that is the corruption system, which I like, but it feels like it’s generally missing. I don’t recall encountering a situation where one character increased their corruption while the others didn’t which will make the split endings hard to manage. What I would recommend for this is having interactables in the game world that would allow you to up their corruption. Not full side quests but individuals or objects that the player has to find and then use to have one of the characters go through a corruptive action (Sunny could sexually harass someone, Fjorn could eat a lone person, Amelia could drink so much her liver gives out only to reset). The intent would be lower barriers than full side quests so that they’re easy and allow for single character interaction, they would reward the player for exploration and allow for variation in the characters corruption levels. If you want to get fancy there could be ones that are only ‘unlocked’ if you already have a certain level of corruption.
Glad to see this updated and hopefully it will continue.
thank you very much, I always worry about whether or not a combat encounter feels balanced, and I’m glad you enjoy the girls’ personalities! also this upcoming chapter will have some character development for Sunny, some in the first half, most in the second half, absolutely none during the intermission
there wasn’t alot of chances for Amelia’s Corruption to increase in Phantasia because she is easily influenced by folks around her, and with Ceola in the mix, her personality is going to get alot worse and the ways she gains increases to Corruption will seem way more reasonable. also with the reverse Gorgon, Amelia’s Metabolism has taken a serious hit.
regarding the Corruption system, I am planning on having side quests that will allow you to increase each character’s corruption score (these won’t grant Sin powers tho). I will probably add them into the previous areas and maybe some could be optional once the respective character hits a certain threshold in Corruption.
I’m glad to hear folks are enjoying this game of mine and I am having fun working on it, hope you all enjoy the next update when it comes out!
