I finished the side chapter (the one with Fjorn devouring the whole village, forced by Creola). But then I get stuck in the test map, and can’t get out. How to get out of the test map guys?

I liked the new chapter, I cant say I liked Ceola. Or rather I don’t like how much it feels like she comes in and starts piloting the plot. Her being responsible for essentially conditioning/brainwashing two of the leads, immediately pact-ing with Amelia, and seemingly being the one to mastermind this whole thing puts her front and center. Instead of it being temptation, which is where I thought this was going, it just brute force and her just abusing the fuck out of the leads. Im sure she will get hers in the end. I cant fathom this many kick the dog moments (one being very literal) and her not getting deleted in most of the endings.
We already have the leads having tragic backstories she didn’t need to make them even more tragic, She also removed a lot of Fjorn and Sunny’s agency in their corruption. It’s not really characters falling to their own vices when they were forced to into it and/or have a literal god pushing them into it.
I don’t think she is inherently a bad character but her inclusion definitely hurt the story for me. (There is also something that inherently feels bad when the player is forced to walk the characters through what they know is the BBG’s plan and with Ceola it now feels like that. However the story has not given me much reason to actually care about the quest the characters were on so the point is a little moot here)

are you on the post credits placid Isle? there’s a switch that creates a bridge that connects to the Bad Ending library and there’s a teleporter there to take you to the main Placid Isle where at the very bottom you can leave

Whenever you talk with chef in Phantasia in fragment before finishing zoo he can supply you with unlimited mystery roasts.
In west zoo inn there is a flying meal
Obelisk guarding path to witch can be stepped on.
For now that’s all I found, game is great - good job.

I’m sorry you feel that way, my intention was to have Ceola be kind of a red string binding the four Champions together (also the crystals and stuff are technically powered by her). Ceola is more an enabler and if the four champions generate and absorb corruption, when she is an amplifier for that.
also Ceola isn’t the BBG, but she’s definitely an antogonistic force

Old moment but the key is to remember that to make the joke on old calculators people would flip it upside down. Honestly one of the funnier trick questions I have come across though I will admit to looking it up after 5 minutes of running around like a headless chicken thinking one of the statues had a clarifier for the hint.
I think she’s to direct as she is in the side story. Her as the spirit guiding Fjord worked in the sacrifice scene the way you described. The problem becomes later mostly with Sunny. Side note is Ceola meant to be the one on the with Child Fjord and the dog? That’s the implication to me and again I think it is an overreach.
Let me try to work it out in terms of Ceola relationship’s to Fjord as to why I feel the way I do. This isn’t meant to be bashing the game and I am sorry if it feels like I am harping on this to hard but I want to articulate this hopefully to give better feedback. I’ll spoiler for people who haven’t played.
So in Fjord’s memory scene with her village she works the way you described a voice in Fjord’s ear tempting her and exploiting her nature but also helping her. With the implication that Fjord was going to be further abused by her new guardian it worked to have it be implied that Ceola would be essentially a voice to Fjord darker urges. The issue comes in during the exploration of the abandoned facility where it is implied that she had a much more hands on role in molding Fjord with the audio recording. (If that is not the right read then that’s my bad) Then scene where she convinces Fjord to go eat a town doesn’t feel like her taking advantage of Fjord’s trauma and tempting her in a moment of weakness. It feels like she activated Fjord like a sleeper agent both to do something way more extreme and to be way happier doing it to innocents. It might be a thing of to much to quickly as well, because we just had Fjord recount that she has the ability to erase whole existences which by itself would be a major shift in her headspace given that she was repressing that.
Hopefully you got something out of that, at least a better understanding on the why.
On Sunny the torture for a year thing plus the fundamental brainwashing wouldn’t be bad by itself. I think its to much rolled into her already having a massively tragic childhood but having Ceola be the main driver there could have worked for me if she also wasn’t as entrenched with Fjord. That said the sequence left me fundamentally hating Ceola’s guts. I enjoy mad gods but part of the point of mad gods is the tension of there good moods, Ceola doesn’t have good moods. She might claim she does but her entire existence in that flashback is being a bastard so there isn’t tension. She does nothing good for Sunny or even good in a messed up way, even the linking of pain and pleasure doesn’t feel real because this is no unabashedly good moments for Sunny just bad ones or mixed ones. She gets pissed after getting pushed onto a spike and comes across as a sore loser because of it. No nuance, no pride, just enough rage to break her façade for a little bit.
Again she can work, I don’t have to like her for her to work as an antagonist. Heck it could have been fantastic contrast between how she treats Sunny and Fjord. (and to be fair that does exist already but not as much because of her still torturing little Fjord.)
Enough of my ramblings though. At the end I want to say thank you. I am always gonna have character that I feel miss the mark or outright just don’t like but this game is great and provided me with hours of entertainment. SO thank you for creating it and sharing it with everyone.

Hmm, thats a good point. I wish there was some joke, like Dragon being awful at math and using calc all the time, or that his vision is mirrored, tho.

to be fair, there are alot of things in the first intermediate chapter that I am probably going to tweak, rewrite/redo due to me personally not being happy with how they turned out and with how with me working on chapter 3, certain scenes make no sense. hopefully when the next update is released, you’ll like the new revised/redone scenes!
