so when i cleared the zombie fight with violet, the game locked up and kept repeating diologue
Hmmm still having trouble finding any sort of loop. For order of events after Lily goes down to the hallway, the first step is to check the upper middle door to find Mauve. Then head to the red circle on the right. Into the open room. Play Lily’s next section. Then walk out of the room, and then out of the church.
If it still sticks for you, here is a save up to that point, sorry if it’s a bug I still can’t find. 127.1 KB file on MEGA
Ah dang, Violet’s sections really are the bane of my existence in terms of bugs! I’ll work on a fix sorry about that one.
In the meantime if you want to get past that section safely now, I recommend solving the riddle of the silver chest. Hint- the answer is PAIN
My last save is when you are having the feast and feeding the green-haired girl for her fast. Though when I move up to make curry at the table I am stuck since the game won’t let me do anything and so I am unable to continue/reach the end of that update. I know I finished that update before, was trying it out since I was curious to see if there had been any more content added along with that infinity loop bug fix.
There should be a sorta cloud looking spark on the table when you go upstairs that lets you make the curry, is that not showing up?
Might just be that I am dumb and forgotten the tutorial, I can change the symbol with Up Arrow and Left Arrow but that is it. I cannot do anything else. This is where I get stuck.
Just to make sure are you hitting in the right pattern based on the arrow keys? It should be up down down up right left left.
Since I got stuck on it after not remembering the tutorial of it, might need a reminder / recipe book / way to get out of it if one forgets to check the recipe. I honestly usually only play this using the mouse so the fact that I had to use the keyboard made me forget where or what to press and the game was keeping me from going to the menu etc.
As I noticed, there is new content which is really nice! Though I like to inform you that after Lily was downstairs choosing how she wanted to have her “fun” and before she heads out of the church. You get a comment to look in the crystal of the town growth upstairs (Where you prep the curry) but if you go in there the screen turns black and you relive the “Fun you chose” and then afterward the game continues like normal but everything is a black screen.
Thanks for paying and glad you enjoyed the new stuff! But just to check, was the making curry game not working properly? It should have had the arrow key symbols appearing on screen?
And thank you for pointing out the bug in the lily room, I will fix it!
I think it was working properly it was just that I had not played the game in a month so I forgot you could use the keyboard and what the symbols represented. ^^’ And the fact that it locks you in the “mini-game” and no buttons seem to be working except Arrow keys.
The bug is after you chose “Dominant / Submissive” “Male / Female” and goes up to speak with Gretel. You get a comment about the crystal and “Town growth” but it leads to you getting sent back to your selected choice only on a black screen.
Maybe someone else reported it but I found a bug after the L’s funroom stuff where if you go into the villager weight viewing room after speaking with Gretel it will then replay whatever event Lily just did with whatever partner she picked as soon as you enter the weights room. Once the event was finished playing a second time I was able to enter the weight room without issue, but it was still weird.
Sorry about that one, I’ve got a fix for it now and will be updated a new download soon.
Watching Kale get his heart crushed by Lily was sad and satisfying at the same time lol, even though he was an ass in the past-scenes I like him a lot and he’s cute and sensitive, hope to see more of him at the Gomorrah
Also I was replaying the game to remember the story for 0.4 and I think Heather’s stats go down as she spends more time in the gumbo-revenge-barn? That’s a nice touch
You just might! And I’m glad you enjoyed Kale’s section. I know the male WG scenes will be lesser favored but I wanted to make them as much of characters as the girls!
And yes good eye, you are right Heather’s level is going down! A bit harder to be an agile hunter when you have a bubble butt. An opposite effect is going on with Violet, her level is going up as she fights monster after monster.
Ok so the problem I currently face when a weight gain game (i.e. this one0 has genuinely good characters and setting is that I keep thinking about it with my brain even after my “head” has lost interest (Geddit? Cos head can also mean… I’ll see myself out…). So as a result here have my concepts for four apostles of the remaining sins. (Plz ignore spelling and grammar mistakes I’m doing thsi at 12AM when I should be sleeping to try and get this brain worm out of my mind)
Wrath
It was mentioned that worshippers of Ira give the god blood sacrifices so I’m assuming that this particular one isn’t as benevolent as the ones we know, but because in the theoretical situation where Ira is looking at the blood sacrifices like “dude this is kind of unnecessary it doesn’t really have anything to do with being angry at all plz stop.” Here’s this dude.
Basically my idea is a wandering knight with a rusty sword and armour who is the most jovial and chill dude around. Absolutely the kind of guy you’d want to share a drink with, and is quick to laugh off insults and slights against his person… however the wrath apostle part comes in real quick when he sees cruelty or injustice inflicted apon someone else. Basically if you draw a straight line between a berserker and a paladin you’ll get this dude.
If he were to meet the main cast he’d probably not join up since while he completely agrees with their goals and wishes to create the same kind of world they do, he’s also painfully aware that in this perfect world there’d be no place for him, as there would be no one left to fight. He would definitely consider falling asleep in acedia’s paradise once such a world was achieved though, so he could forever dream of places where he is needed.
(Alternatively you could also just literally do Doomguy, i.e. the angriest man in the world but one who only ever goes after the entities that deserve it.)
Envy
Envy would be someone quite specialised. They’d find people who are passionate about some kind of craft, artisinal work, or any kind of skill, but have stagnated and find themselves unable to improve. They’d then move in nearby, and do the same thing that this person does, except ever so slightly better, carefully engineering things so that the artisan doesn’t become disheartened by having someone better than them, but instead rediscovers their drive to improve. The envy apostle keeps mantaining this engeneered rivalry, poking and prodding (and sometimes adding in a bit of romantic/sexual tension if it’ll help things along, or just for fun) until they’re sure that the drive to be better will never again leave them, and they then depart to find their new “rival”.
They’d probably feel envious themselves of the people they help’s skill after a while, as after all their whole life is pretty much dedicated to making people better at stuff than they are, but then they remember that there’s no one better at making people better at things than they are, and if there is… well there’s nothing to say that they can’t improve at that themself.
(I have a mental image of envy being a gender ambiguous/nonbinary person because Envy from fullmetal alchemist is rad and I’m not afraid to say it.)
They’d also probably not join up with the main trio since not every town that needs help has someone like that, but they’d definitely give them a way to contact them whenever they do move in somewhere where their skills are useful.
Greed
I know the slave gal (whose name I forget sry) is probably the greed apostle already (if she isn’t pride), but here’s my take on one.
This is someone who would look at Scrooge McDuck swimming around in his vault and think “#LifeGoals”, but also someone who would feel bad doing so knowing that there’s people out there t oo poor to have a roof over their heads so essentially they want to make everyone rich enough that they no longer have to feel bad about sipping their martini’s out of a golden goblet.
They’d be all about setting up long term investments, stuff that stuffs their own coffers while also enriching those they meet. Turning the delivery boy lugging bags of coal door-to-door into the head of a trade empire, turning dilapidated villiages into capitals of the country. In a hypothetical scenario if they joined up with the main trio they’d be doing something like helping Lily turn the inn into a five star hotel, and would get along well with the duo of monney grubbers, saying something like “they may not have the braincells but they sure as heck have the spirit” (again, forgot their names).
Pride
For Pride I have a mental image of the “OHOHOHOHO” girl from animes (you know the one), who thinks that she’s the greatest thing in the world. However this doesn’t stop her from seeing value in others. She may consider herself a “diamond” but her existence doesn’t make the rubies and emeralds any less precious or beautiful in their own way, it’s just sometimes they’re trapped in dirt and rock and need to be polished.
She’d be the type to seek out the biggest and most difficult projects. She’d seek out the people who truly could not be brought any lower, and raise them up as high as she possibly can. She’d usually do this by inserting herself as some sort of authority figure in the area (like she might become a town’s mayor if there wasn’t already one, or the headmistriss of a failing school), and using that as a way to lead everyone around her to greatness while also preparing her successor for when she is no longer needed. Also like the dominant triad girl in one of Lily’s scenes she would drop the haughtyness when the moment calls for it cos she’s prideful but underneath her haughtiness is as much love for those around her as any of the others.
I’m also just imagining her going into the inn for the first time with the trio and seeing the inkeeper and there’s an exchange like
Lily: “I call dibs!”
Pride (A second late): “I call di- damn it.”
…so yeah that’s pretty much all of it. Hope you like my ideas.
Hey thanks, always nice to see when people become so interested in the story! Glad it appeals to the upper head as well as the lower head. (I’ll see myself out with you.)
Your ideas for the remaining 4 sins are fun ones! Though as you noted with Greed some of them might have already appeared in the game already. In fact you’ve already met 5 out of 7.
Even still! Your ideas are to interesting to leave on the side so I’ll answer all of them even if some of them might have already had their place taken! Who knows, while they might not become apostles the ideas could work into other characters, through no promises!
WRATH
Glad the reference to Ira early on didn’t go unnoticed! While nothing important it was a cheeky bit of lore hidden in there for later.
I’d agree a character like that would probably not play along well with the main 3. While they would applaud his sense of justice, they wouldn’t be so happy with the use of force, or with death even to those who might be called deserving. I’d wonder if he’d be happy with Acedia’s pardise though, I doubt he’d go if there was anyone else in the world left to hunt.
Also the idea of a wandering knight is…remarkably close to a character who while not the Apostle of Greed, will be taking a spotlight during the story at certain points. I won’t say how close it is to what you’ve said, but be on the lookout!
Envy
An interesting use of Envy. You aren’t the first person to send me an idea for how Envy would work as an Apostle, and they are all good ones. With each of the Apostles being Sins it can sometimes be hard not to make them evil, but this would be fairly wholesome!
And yes Envy from FMA is pretty darn cool.
Greed.
Interesting interpitation of Greed. Let’s just say the game’s version will be significantly less…benevolent.
PRIDE
Another fun one! Yes taking others under her banner to then help them once they become part of her own is a fun idea. She could no doubt play off well with your hypothetical envy, the two of them competing to make the best ton they could.
I wonder how she’s work the getting fat part of it in however? Would she see that as strength or weakness? Perhaps she’d be annoyed how much the main 3 spent time making people fat along with helping them. Or would she be making eating contests?
Either way they were all fun to think through, thank you again for your ideas! Hope you the best.
Made an account just to post here to say that this was the most enjoyable rpgmaker game and the fact it ticks off all the fetish boxes for me is just icing on the many cakes! I really look forward to where you go next with this.
Thank you! I hope you’ll enjoy what I have cookin next!
Hey did anyone else know that February only had 28 days? Cause I 100% forget until the last minute.
Not much to report for the February status update. I have a bugfix file for a few lasting bugs, sorry for the delay in getting this ready. 891.47 MB file on MEGA
(3-7-21)There was one last bug for old times sake. Fixed missing map 290. The new link fixes it but it you don’t want to redownload the entire game, here is the file. Sorry about that! 36.6 KB file on MEGA
Put that in “www” then “data”
And on newer news things are shaping up well for Apostles 0.5 Heather will be having her next set of tests with even more rewards. As well as some more side stories, one of which might catch players by surprise!
I thought of adding more, but to keep things at a good pace I might divide the update up a bit so they sections come out a bit quicker.
That’s about it, hope everyone is doing well!
