Thanks a lot, looks like it worked.
When I get in the circus, the game freezes.
Have you downloaded and moved your save files into the latest update folder? This bug should be fixed as of version 0.8.2. You can check which version you have by opening the patch.txt in the game folder. If this is still happening in version 0.8.2, let me know and I’ll fix it asap!
I’ve downloaded the latest version and the problem is fixed, thank you.
Wow this game is good I mean when I forget the fetish part of the game and love to see what happen to the characters and the story that a good game it just I feel that the game window is a bit small and when you have a tons of items it can take time to find items like the ones that teleport to the main towns but beside that I love this game a lot.
For the game window, press alt+f6; that increases the game window size…or alt+f5 for fullscreen.
Hi. I’m having difficulty finding lorenzo in the capital undercity/sewers. Where can I find him?
Is it just me, or does it feel like Ula the Water Dragon may become a party member, or more likely she’ll be how you’ll travel the ocean in a future update?
We never learn her story, and Elarel just forces her to sulk in her lake…
Also, poor Maddie. No one deserves to die like that…
For God’s sake, she was basically a kid…
She literally gave us her one and only belonging because her young mind didn’t want Mr.Die to be afraid of the dark…
Slight spoiler below:
Maddie (and Ula) will return eventually…
Hi, when you enter the sewers and go down the first set of stairs, there will be a door on the left. Going through that should start a cutscene that takes you right to Lorenzo.
Seems like ive encountered a soft lock- after heading to the swamps for the first time after clearing out the fumes, my character immediately moved down and refused to take in anymore movement inputs…
Hi, i found a pretty bad crash where i cant go forward in the story and the game in general, im at Westheaven doing the Killer quest
After this line of dialogue the game crash
Hope it can help, beacuse i dont know what to do.
Thanks for reporting! I’m working on uploading a bugfix patch for this issue that should be up in an hour or so! In the meantime, if you use the other entrance to the Sand Swamp, it should circumvent this particular softlock!
Thanks for reporting! I’m working on uploading a bugfix patch that’ll fix this issue. I’ll update the main post with it in an hour or so!
I’ve come across a bug that stops future progression into Blightwood. When Evelyn is talking with the field scout, she says something along the lines of “Also not good… tell me everything you know” and then the conversation ends there. You aren’t able to move past them, and if you try to interact, the dialogue repeats, with still no end.
Try going the other way. If you take the righthand path from the main gate, you’ll run into a couple of angels who need your help. Once you save them, you’ll be able to get through Evelyn’s camp!
Hey, I think I finally finished all of the content from the start of the game up until the current update. Thought I would share my thoughts on things if you want feedback. I’ll spoil things from here on so anyone kind of browsing by don’t click if you care.
So, to start off, I wanted to go ahead and establish my biases since this is meant to be a fetish game with different potential niches. For the most part, I found your game this update because of the vore tag and how it shot up to the top of the listings for games after the update. I honestly only use this site for the occasional game that is only hosted here, or for the times where the discussion is more active here (Which is the case here). I don’t mind the other belly stuff, like stuffing, and I am not really huge on weight gain but I can just roll with it and maybe get into it when it isn’t… messy I think is the right term. I am not saying this to say I dislike any of that content in the game, I just wanted to establish why my feedback may be more vore-focused than other aspects, since I figured I stay in the lane I vibe with best. I’m not some unreasonable person that wants a game to cater only to my specific desires. Also, this was my first experience with your games, so I apologize if any feedback has explanations or lore reasons from previous works, and if I repeat any common feedback from forum posts. This is strictly Axugaem 2 with Nell (plus dating Nell) and Fire Elemental choices review.
So to start, I wanted to complement how well-put together this game is. Going in blind to literally everything, I was impressed how well the game functions. The only soft lock I had, besides the brig one you fixed within a day, was one time in the cutscene in the cafe basement and a Vespa and Leslie post-quest hangout dialogue that looped constantly. Both were fixed by reloading an old save, so no harm. As for glitches, the only things I can think of was that you can leave Blightwood section early by walking up to exit, and it will let you leave despite protest from Caldryn, and a couple of times sprites would be left standing after cutscenes, like Abby after witch encounter in the black market. Nothing game breaking, which compared to other RPG-maker games I have played is really impressive. Speaking of RPG, the battles themselves felt incredibly balanced for the most part. Nothing ever felt too easy or hard (although there is some cheese strategies that can be built like crit rage Nell and Ashley). I tend to do a balanced amount of battling, so I like to think my exp levels are about where average players are, so good job on that. All in all, my all-quests-I-can-find playthrough took about 39 hours, baring some time I may have left game idle. Very enjoyable. Biggest flaw though is of course the longer the playthrough, the less likely I will be willing to do a second playthrough. I may be wrong, but I can’t imagine there is tons of hours of content exclusive to the Lani route that would make another playthrough worth the time investment, especially for someone like me who is not as invested in stuffing.
I got the feeling when playing the game that you were trying to maintain a somewhat restrained approach to the fetish content in the game, at least at the beginning of the game. There were times where I would wonder at the start if the game was going to have much of the belly content or if you were trying to keep it pretty limited for perhaps the Diet mode to easily remove later. At that point in the game, I would say on the scale from pure RPG to pure fetish game, the game sat very heavily in the pure RPG side, but just enough to the fetish side you wouldn’t be able to forget the game had that content. Stand out moment in early game was the Nell vore scene with the men following you. That dynamic of the sudden tone shift in that scene to the characters reluctantly allowing it if you so choose, was very nice. I would say that balance really began to change after completing the water temple (and the one prison scene). I noticed the belly events happened a little more often and ramped up in frequency as you progressed past that point, up until the very end. I would say the game works it way up to a balance right in the middle between RPG and fetish game. I think the design philosophy you adopted for later updates works really well and I would encourage you to keep doing what you do now. Some of the earlier game content could use a little more belly content, but I think it is not the end of the world if you choose not to. With ONE exception: the wind temple section. I apologize if my memory is bad, or if I missed something like a vore scene after losing a battle, but I think there is no content in that entire town or temple? Can’t really count the chupacabra questline because that happens once you take Ashley out of the area and into tent. I would say if any area needs a little extra love, it would be that part.
Now, in regards to the belly content itself. I’ll focus mostly on vore stuff, but I will at least say you actually made some scenes that I could get into, like Arci and Vespa in forest and the Leslie and Vespa content, so kudos there. I think if there is one type of vore content I would suggest focusing on more, it would be player team pred content. There is a LOT of player team as prey content, which is enjoyable, but I think the game could use a little more player team as pred for balance. There is just a different feeling you get from you and your allies doing vore. Specifically your party characters, as I do admit you get some content with allied characters doing vore, like Kira during the fire elemental side of Brightwood. I think there is only two scenes in game where your party members engage in vore (capital bridge and del nyann) and don’t spit the prey up later (although for Claire being unwilling pred that is pretty nice). The devour and .exe variant do work to fill the niche, but with a lot of the enemies being mostly monsters, and any humanoids being boss characters and thus immune, there is a little less excitement in the devour moves. That is why the whole Brightwood section stands out, at least if you side with the fire elementals I assume. It was enjoyable to go after the angels and have them serve as prey during battle, as they were really the first mostly human-like enemies the game (I just hope I didn’t screw myself out of another potential devour teammate with Evelyn because I think I heard mention of her swallowing enemies by some NPC pre-battle chat?). I can see why you may be sticking mostly with monsters as prey, as it may make more scenes you would have to remove for Diet Mode and I can see it being weird if Vespa has humanoid prey after Vespa/Leslie questline’s current end, but angels are still are available to her. It definitely is hard for to think of a perfect solution, beyond maybe restricting Vespa devour on certain enemies if you completed up to a certain part on her quest line and then add more humanoid prey. I do strongly believe though that Nell should stay as the proud vore user she is. I think it is a good dynamic to have someone on the team not try to worry too much or go through moral crisis (and be successful with digestion, poor Elmira lol), especially given the large amount of enemies and allies that are like that outside of the team. Don’t get me wrong though after that long paragraph, the content in game, especially for a game meant to be a proper RPG and also cater to WG and Stuffing, the vore content is enjoyable. Just what I would improve if asked.
I’ll put brief character feedback here:
Claire: I enjoy her content in game. Good middle-man between potential extremes in this game, and it does feel like we can shape her a bit through choices.
Abby: Good lighthearted character. Bruh speak isn’t my first choice in dialogue, but it never got annoying for me so it is enjoyable.
Nell: Admittedly she caries a lot of vore content in this game so I am a little biased to her, but she is also enjoyable wise warrior type. Best girl.
Arciella: She is fine, occasionally her dipping into gluttony was enjoyable, and she is good balance of nice character for party.
Clark: Fine straightman. Good support character that carried me through stealing healing items in early game.
Ashley: Admittedly kind of weakest link character wise. Kind of the sarcastic realist that kind of doesn’t play much into belly content, but it can feel like she is just along for the ride. Chupacabra quests was standout quest though.
Vico: Alright supporting character. Had decent presence in beginning but kind of took a background commentary role towards end. Not bad or anything, but a little forgettable.
Caldryn: Surprising amount of character and input to events in game. I would still dump him for angel if she was confirmed for devour ability, but there would be some hesitation, which is admittedly a big complement for me in a fetish game that usually would be me picking cute girl lol.
Elmira: Best bullyable bully. 10/10, would work to get her stomach acid upgrade.
TLDR for this big review: Good job, honestly pretty impressed. Looks like newer content kept getting better in comparison to older updates, so keep it up.
This last bit here is just the "here is content I would enjoy added, nothing seriously needed in game but if you want ideas, feel free to take them lol.
A weight gain guru or something in Del Nyan that can tell you how close your party members are to next stage. Felt like Vespa never would get to next stage despite many successful devours, to the point I decided to just roll with sausages so I could see dialogue during VespaLeslie quests.
More Nell romance quests, especially leaning more into vore. I kind of feel like it should be bigger part of relationship since it kind of is a hard thing to just gloss over when dating. Ultimate wishful thinking would be that Claire could actually be made more open to vore, potentially to the point in indulging if say, another accidental pred scene occurs on their later dates. I only say this because I feel like if the player chooses to date Nell, surely they are okay with vore and would get enjoyment from fatal Claire pred scenes. Plus Claire can be made to be hinting at slightly enjoyment during Del Nyan scene and confession acceptance time, not to mention Claire apparently has max devour (not sure if hinting at future plans or if this is call back to a moment in first game where she was some sort of redeemed voracious villain, who swore of vore after redemption or something). I understand you may have a set plan for Claire already not involving vore, but hey, on off chance you don’t I wouldn’t mind the content, even if restricted to the more vore-friendly choices having to be made by player to keep canon friendly instead of 180 Claire change if player rejected all the vore options in past. It would be nice to potentially have an entire team of devour-capable team members on field.
Vespa/Leslie dynamic where Leslie becomes more into vore after feeding raw fish and maybe brings Vespa back down from her more restricted attitude at current end to maybe the occasional, secret indulgence of humanoids with Leslie’s knowledge that she is doing it and giving approval would be pretty enjoyable. Could even make it an optional choice for when you decide to put an end to those questlines between the two.
Elmira acid upgrade. I am fine if it requires a seriously large amount of grinding to get what would essentially be a quick bit of flavor text, you could even make jokes about it during the quest.
Anyway, that is all for feedback, sorry for long post, but I did enjoy your game a lot and figured if in-game estimate of six months is true it doesn’t hurt to just get this all out there. Best of luck with development!
Thank you so much for the in-depth review and feedback! This is all really helpful and I’m absolutely going to keep a lot of the points you made in mind for future updates. I can address a couple of points here without spoiling too much, so here goes:
- Evelyn doesn’t learn devour, so in that sense you chose correctly! (Her boss, Gloriana is the one who devoured an entire platoon of demons at some point in the past, but you don’t get any of that sort of content in-game if you side with the angels.)
- I’ll look into those softlocks you mentioned since those sorts of bugs drive me nuts lol. If you have any more info on which conversation between Vespa and Leslie specifically caused an infinite loop, let me know, but if not I’m sure I’ll be able to find it! And I’ll fix up those other bugs you mentioned too. Thank you for reporting those
- You picked the right route for vore. Lani’s route is far more stuffing/wg focused as of right now. (Cedric will learn devour/max devour in a later update, but that’s a different beast altogether for a lot of people’s tastes). I don’t think it’s worth doing a second playthrough if you aren’t interested in the other fetishes and characters; there are a lot of small differences in dialogue and cutscenes, and you get a few different quests/sidequests, but if you’re playing the game for the vore then you can skip a Lani/Evelyn run.
- Definitely planning to slip more fetish content into the early game where I think it’s fitting! You’re right that I was very restrained with that content when I was designing the first half of the game, and the exceptions you noted were almost all added recently to compensate for that! I’ll take what you said about the Air Temple area into account too, as multiple people have noted that the entire area feels a little removed from the rest of the game. Ashley isn’t the most fetishy character in the game, but there’s room for some stuffing content with her at the very least, and maybe a small character arc that gives her more to do with the main plot of the game. Pretty sure you’re right about there being no vore content in that section of the game, so I’ll figure out a way to rectify that as well!
- I’ll keep in mind what you’ve noted about wanting more player team pred content! That’s something that a lot of people seem to want to see more of, so I’ll work on slipping in more of it where possible. Vespa’s a tough one to write vore scenes for in that regard because of her guilt struggles and such (she has a reason to hate angels which I’m hoping to make clearer in the future,) but there’s definitely some room for her to gulp down a stray merfolk or something at some point in the game! Don’t worry, Nell’s not going to change her ways, but I’ll consider the idea of her habits influencing Claire some more once they’re dating! Finally, as far as Claire’s concerned, she wasn’t particularly voracious in Axugaem1 (outside of one scene where she soul vored an evil spirit out of indignation), but her potential voraciousness will actually be a plot point in a future update, so at some point she will be able to learn devour/max devour! It just likely won’t happen with the very next update >.>
- The weight gain guru idea is great, and I think a lot of people would appreciate that addition, so I’ll work on adding that with the next update! Vespa’s weight gain mechanics are also in need of an update since the only way you can actually trigger the weight gain event itself is through the Hot as Hell Links. I’ll fix that soon.
- I’ll keep the suggestions you made regarding Vespa and Elmira’s vore upgrades in mind. Those areas aren’t my priority per se (I’m more of a stuffing person and fatal vore isn’t a huge interest of mine, but I do my best to fit it in where I think it works!)
Thanks again for playing and engaging with the game! It means a lot!!
do we have to start over? i am from 0.7 and i can use the boat to get to the island
Nope, your saves from 0.7.0 and earlier should all work fine. Ancestor Isle hasn’t been implemented yet if that’s what you’re wondering about. The patch.txt document in the game folder will list all the new additions from 0.8.0!
