A Ton of Bears in Beartonne by FatBat ITCH,IO LINK IS UPPP
Hey y’all~! I wanted to announce an idea I’ve had for a Ren’py visual novel I’ve had for quite some time, and figured I’d ask y’all on some feedback of what I got so far! ^^ ALSO TO FIND OUT IF THERE’S ANY SIMILARITES BETWEEN THIS AND EXISITING WORK which is kinda a fear of mine ‘w’
Very much inspired by Extracurricular Activities by DyneWulf/WolfBiteLLC!
The premise is that you’re a 25-ish year old Opossum, average build between fat and muscle, (though this might be changeable both at the start and during a read,) and is a sort of everyman, knows how to fix a sink and switch between hdmi 1/2, that sorta thing.
The opossum moves out of town thanks to your uncle offering a place to stay, you take him up on the offer and set out… getting a job at his restaurant and meeting a few fatty folks along the way.
The age range is 25-ish to 35-ish, (still writing characters, I’ve only got a few solidified) and the whole idea is that, you meet the person, get a job where they work, and your bond with them grows over the course of about a year, skipping between months/significant events.
There’s gonna be different storylines and issues that arise that you and your partner overcome in each playthrough.
I’ve got a few characters conceptualized, from a line cook spider guy, to a stoner sloth, a divorcee dachsund, aswell as a cartoonist orc, (and some more who I’ve yet to really work on!)
They’re all very early on, and may be subject to change! One might notice the over-abundance of combovers…
All art is done by me, as well as writing though this may change also. ^^
I intend on making the characters more weighty, as most of the concept art was done at a time I wasn’t really sure about going all in with the fatty stuff… I’ve since changed my stance. :3
Lemme know your thoughts down below! I was gonna try to get a lil prologue going here soon, complete with placeholder art! As stated before, this project is gonna be done in Ren’Py, and I’ll upload builds to my Itch,io page at the top of this post!
