So I was daydreaming ideas like I tend to do, and I had this concept. See, I was going crazy over this Louie named Nagurooi, who’s supposed to be a boxer:
Of course I thought it would be such a shame to have my favorite color of Louie to not be fat, but there’s not a lot of art of him fat… so I figured someone should do something about that.
I remember getting interested in a unique fighting game called Buriki One, known for its esoteric controls, limited accessibility, and realistic gameplay:
And I was like “Buriki One but you play as Nagurooi and he gets fatter with each stage you beat because he eats the opponent”
But then I began to wonder who the opponents would be and the only other option I could think of on the spot was Ricky from the Legend of Zelda since I always wondered who would win in a fight
So anyone got any other ideas of who would be good playable characters in this hypothetical Buriki One clone centered on fat furries fighting? (No humans pls, OCs okay but pls attribute their owners)
Something like that would be cool. But, part of the idea of Buriki one is that each fighter has their own unique fighting style. I think a good example of diverse fighters furry fighters to brought would be Bloody Roar (but in that game series is humans that can transform into furries).
Having a fat furry fighting game is cool and the closest thing is Crushing Force for the moment.
I agree that a fat furry fighting game would be very fun, and I could imagine characters from Crushing Force in this hypothetical game
I dunno about Bloody Roar tho, since I do think they have the diverse fighting style this game could use, but like I said, no humans pls, even transformed ones, and I also don’t want human adjacent characters (characters like elves, demihumans, fantasy races with humanlike features, etc.)
Actually I’m just looking for any furry characters (preferably furry ones, sorry to the elephants, hippos, etc.) who have a distinct fighting skill. Boxing, wrestling, karate, Tae kwon do, judo, etc.
As for who I am and what I’m doing in your head, idk! I guess I should have taken that turn at Alberqueque.
As a Louie fan myself, I must ask: why not use the other Louies to fill the roster? Nagurooi already has boxing covered as fighting style, so if you were to use the others you could play to their strengths, but as fighting styles. Out of the remaining types:
Gyarooi and Kerooi can take taekwondo or kickboxing respectively as the two kicking Louies
Hanerooi could do aerial wrestling moves like diving chops or moonsaults
Magicarooi can take a more traditional “fighting game” style with magical projectiles and whatnot
Marooi… Sumo probably
Warooi can play into just general dirty fighting, a “aim bellow the belt” type of fighter
They probably aren’t enough to fill a roster on their own, but that’s just some food for thought given the context of how this idea started
Not a bad idea, and with Power Bomberman the roster expands greatly!
Just no Hanerooi; I think he’s supposed to be a kid, and we don’t do fat things with kids. We have standards, after all.

Fair point about Hanerooi. I read the names off the list and forgot what that one looked like (personal least used Louie in the series).
Thanks for bringing Power Bomberman to my attention though, there’s quite a few good Louies in there I’ve missed out on for my whole life, I’m definitely going to have to take a closer look at those!
And as for the BEEG Louies, if I manage anything “BEEG” And Louie related between projects, I’ll make sure I make it known over there. It’s a noble cause for sure.
