So I’ve looked at the game I wanna make, realised how ambitious it is, and decided a text format wouldn’t work.

So I ask:

What is the best version of RPG Maker?

Where is the best place to get it?

Where’s the best place to pick up new sprites and portraits?

And how would I make my own portraits?

RPG maker mv works good for me and I’m also new to game-making, you can get it on steam or the degica store, the stuffing bug-testing server has a sprite donations channel, if you just want random sprites type up what you want, you can typically use spritesheets no problem but credit them, there is a character generator built into mv
