Blair Goes Big (v0.1 DEMO RELEASE)

Hello everyone!

I would like to show off a little project of mine I’ve been tinkering with for the past few months.

Blair Goes Big is a stuffing and weight gain game, where your goal is to feed an ambitious girl, Blair, a feedee, in reaching her secretly desired goals for her body.

The gameplay itself is built around minigames. The current one is a simple gather and feed type of gameplay loop, with the mix of character interactivity.

Your primary goal is expanding Blair’s stomach capacity to fulfill her secret wishes.

This project is my first and I treated it more like a learning experience in art/asset creation while also learning Godot engine along the way, so I didn’t want to dribble my feet in complex gameplay systems yet.

The demo is available for free on PC, Android, and a web build is available on itch:

Any and all feedback on the game is more than welcome! I’m open to all kinds of suggestions in regards to artstyle, gameplay or story.
Please feel free and comment your thoughts.

I also have plans to continue with new weight stages, and a more expanded gameplay, if there is a high request for it.

If you would like to support me and the further development of this game, you can do so at the following links or on itch:

I would be very glad and appreciate every donation.
Thanks for playing.

Hi, can you explain a little the controls of this game? I try almost every keyboard of my computer and couldn’t get no reaction on the game, only the space bar that put pause the minigame.

Adore Blair’s model, and seeing the changes at the end of the demo makes me very, very excited for what’s to come.

Regarding suggestions, obviously sound effects, both for the feeding portion and minigame, since now it lacks any non-visual feedback (sfx for picking up energy and missing would be highly appreciated). Maybe, when Blair gets really full, obstacles could start appearing alongside energy (though imo missing them should award points just like hitting energy, so as not to slow down the already rather slow pace of the game by the end). Since you’re learning the engine, maybe you could even try making different simple games for different weight stages to mix it up and learn something new. It would also spice up gameplay quite a bit.

A and D to move left and right, mouse to buy food in the upper right, feed it, and rub belly

A and D keys to move left and right. You can also use the keyboard left and right arrow keys to move, they should both work.

If not, and you are playing the demo on the web, maybe try using a different browser, because they tend to be finicky. I use Brave browser and I tested it on Google Chrome as well and I know it works on that.
Alternatively, you could try downloading the windows release version on itch to see if the controls work on it.

Thank you!

Yes, SFX is a major next step and I was actually planning to add some in this demo, but since the projects category is going in a lockdown mode soon, I was in a big hurry to release something lol.

Gameplay is definitely a thing I will improve as well, it’s barebones and mostly concept rn, I just wanted the core attachable minigame system to work and compliment the stuffing and feeding mechanic that I had down for a while now.

i really liked this however would b nice to have upgrades like more energy r energy or able to take more misses

After you respond to me I try on Google Chrome and it doesn’t react when I press A and D keys. I also download the window version and still doesn’t work. If others can use it without any problem maybe it could be that my computer may be old and that’s why is not working? Well when I get a new computer in the future I will definitely going to try this game.

This is very cute. I like the visual style and the writing. The point-click interaction with Blair’s model is a nice touch. My primary criticism so far is that the minigame felt a bit too difficult, mostly while filling her third stuffing bar. I think it could be helped by increasing the size of her sprite to make catching the energy require less precision. If you intend it to get any faster, you might need to create some system for increasing the amount of energy each bolt is worth, increasing the number of misses you can take before the count is reset, etc.

lowkey fun little game, loop can get a lil repetitive though, overall, its pretty promising!

Pretty good foundation for a game here! I second the notion that there should be more reward for going up in difficulty, like the energy drops increasing in value. Otherwise I think I’d rather just patiently grind out everything I’m gonna need for the whole game in the first round when it’s still reasonably doable.

absolutely adored this game, would love to see more of it!

squeezing her cheeks was a cute touch i don’t often see.

curious what you were thinking of adding for gameplay mechanics down the line, really solid foundation you’ve built so far

Adorable visual style. Liked the game, and can’t wait for update <3

Feedback & Suggestions:

  • mini-game feels a bit repetitive (maybe more mini-games on later stages?)
  • difficulty scaling is slightly strange. it wasn’t much harder, since both speed of falling energies and move speed increases, maybe couple of time I missed because of A/D precision, but overall feels the same (maybe some new elements like “avoid something“ or management can help)
  • having sound would be great

Modeling and animation here is great. But the minigame is just uninspiring, repetitive, and kills the enjoyment of everything else going on. It just completely breaks the flow as you can’t concentrate on seeing what’s happening elsewhere, and finding a time to pause to do feeding is just awkward.

This would be so much better if it was just figuring out what foods she likes, like different combinations could fill her faster, and then finding the right spot to rub to help her digest sort of thing. As you’ve got all the pieces there. But just repeatedly do some other unrelated task as seen in so many other games, was just meh.

The rest of your structure here has so much potential. Focus in on some story and the straight feeding aspect, and I think you’d be golden. If you must keep your minigame, at least make it wave based, so you alternate between playing and feeding or something. Maybe instead of missing 3 times to reset, just have it be once but have each energy collected worth one more so it’s exponential, as then it’d play faster at least.

I played through and its got decent modeling and the minigame is alright. It would be nice if the hitbox on the sprite included the sides of the sprite as well. There were many times were I was technically touching the energy and it went right through me.

This has a ton of potential, and I really enjoyed the gameplay! Add in some powerups or the like for variation, and I think you got yourself a great game

Very cute. Stylized 3D with expressive animation beats out flatly-lit photo-realistic 3D any day if you ask me.

The minigame both feels thematically odd (why are we collecting energy to buy food?) and makes the common mistake of taking way too much attention off of the actually interesting part of the game, which is the characters reactions.

The “grinding:fun stuff” ratio feels off for me on this one, perhaps some kind of cooking-releated minigame would be better? Something you could look away from for a few seconds without immediately getting fucked. This game doesn’t necessarily need resource management, just enough of a time sink for the player to feel involved and pace progression.

At the very least, you seem to know how to give 3D some flair and that’s got me hopeful.
