considering the site is being reorganized with a new mod section, would it be reasonable to slot them all into their own game catagory like how curated projects works with their own designated “zone” compiling all the related topics to that particular curated project?
IE having all the minecraft mod stuff in it’s own designated minecraft space
edit for clarification: I mean making mods a category, then have the sub categories be the game if multiple mods around that game pop up
Unfortunately doing something like that tends to be more of a pain then good. In general I have found fewer more generalized categories tend to be better and it would be hard to maintain as we would have to setup and configure new categories for at least each of the more popular games.
Rn what I am planning on doing is breaking General Games > Mods into its own category with a few generalized sections for general discussion, technical advice, and the mods themselves with a mandatory game tag that will specify what game the mod applies to so they can be filtered more effectively.
