An idea that had been brewing in my head was a version of Buckshot Roulette, but replace the shotgun shells with darts. I also did want to make the weight have more impact as the “health bar” besides just being a game over when you get too big, so certain items would make you gain or lose weight for their effects.
I have no way of making into reality outside of roleplays or hoping someone else takes up the task, but even if it ends up not becoming a reality, I do hope the idea can inspire others to make something in a similar vein.
I know the whole point is to mod Buckshot Roulette but at that point, go assist the team behind Don’t Fear the Jester or even help make an expanded remaster.
It’s not intended to be a mod for Buckshot Roulette, rather a standalone game with mechanics like Buckshot Roulette. I don’t think anyone could quite match Mike Klubnika’s artstyle and the way the game is themed would make a fat version very hard to pull off without just overriding all the assets
I decided to give this a shot so im working on a prototype as a side side project. I got the roulette part working and a lives mechanic as well as a size state for the opponent (just text currently) which only took about an hour, If you want to pitch mechanics im all ears!
