My game CakeMix started off as a VR game called “PoundCake” which was basically a VR character creator with bigger gals. Eventually I started adding more varieties of body types but it still leans heavily into the weightier side of things.
VR is currently not working, since I decided to make a desktop version the priority. I might add VR in again at some point in the future, though.
So in CakeMix you can make your own characters with a full character creator, and then go into story mode, where they tell you erotic stories that are like choose-your-own-adventure type things. You set up the scenario however you want, and then the characters tell the story, asking for your input along the way.
It uses a locally-based AI (LLM) for storytelling, so there’s no online requirement and it’s totally private. The game will set up all the files needed, and it runs fine on older computers.
CakeMix isn’t specifically focused on any particular bent of weight gain, etc. but you can write/play whatever scenarios you want and set it up to your heart’s content. Expansion? Inflation? Feederism? Blueberry? It’ll all work.
At the suggestion of one of my Patrons, I’ll be adding in even more weight related features in future updates. So, if you try it out I’d love to hear your thoughts.
That’s actually coming in an update. I’d been thinking along those lines and then PastorKopf wrote to me on Patreon and suggested something similar, so yeah I like it and it’s now on my to-do list. I’ve been working on a sort of inventory system where you can give the girls “gifts” and stuff, and I think that would work nicely with the idea, too, because it wouldn’t be too hard to have food items in there.
It uses a 12b Mistral Instruct Q3_K_M LLM (6GB) by default, but you can use pretty much any model you like by loading one in the Settings. Here is some more info: CakeMix LLM Setup
By non-native LLM, do you mean server-based? I’ve thought about that but not sure if I want to go in that direction as it would likely mean having to censor the output. Unless you meant something else?
Yeah I mean server based, there are ways around the censorship but if your native solution works and is good then I don’t think investing time into a server based option makes sense unless you just wanted to learn more about that integration in general.
Gotcha. Yeah with a server-based solution I could use much larger LLMs, etc. I like the idea of downloadable, self-contained games, and I’ve done a ton of work on the back-end to make CakeMix function well with smaller models. Server-based isn’t totally out of the question, though, if it turns out to be a better option in the long run.
Hmmm, not sure what troubles you’re having (no connection, slow download, no download at all)… If you want to do it manually instead of having the game do it, take a look at this page ( CakeMix LLM Setup ) for some LLMs that work. You can download them then go into CakeMix Settings/Advanced and use the button there to load in the one you downloaded.
for the record, what parts of character creation actually influence stuff like character preferences(like specific kinks)? i see there’s scenario building, but also biography and personality?
right now there’s only one character at a time, but today I was programming in some new stuff (for growth, etc.) and put in some things to make it easier for me to add more characters in the future, so it might be possible. I’m not really super familiar with the harem thing so I’d have to look into it.
EDIT: Oh wait, I just remembered (it’s been a long day) that you can add up to two (currently) additional characters into a scenario, and the story will include them. They aren’t on screen (just the one for right now) but you can write them in.
When you create a character you can write a biography (or have it randomly generate one) and choose a personality type (there are over 150). You can also choose a body type descriptor (or have the game make a best guess based on your character’s shape). The AI is aware of these things as well as other character details (eye color, hair color, age, etc.) and will make use of them in the stories.
So if you write something in their bio like they’re into free-use or they’re a cougar or they are astoundingly large and get off on being covered head-to-toe in marshmallow fluff, the stories will very likely reflect that. I say very likely because it also depends on your choices during stories, and where you personally want it to go.
There’s no such feature in the game right now, but I found a little workaround. You can create a skinny character and then edit the text file in the game files that controls the character’s stats. But for visual changes to take effect, you’ll need to restart the dialog.
I think that if this parameter is so easy to change, it would not be difficult for the developer to implement this functionality natively during the dialogue.
This would have a very positive effect on immersion and on the weight gain branch in general.
So I am really looking forward to this update, if it is planned
