Do you have a recording of this by chance? I’m currently working on 0.3.2 and I have all of the bugs fixed except for this one. Since I have no idea how to replicate it on my end.

A small aside: I think I may have reached some kind of growth limit, I just fed my character around 1,200 cupcakes and they look exactly the same as they did before.

The current cap is 1 million

At least it’s still pretty big. Considering all of the current issues with the model at the moment I suppose it’s fair enough that it can’t go any bigger.

I think I broke my girl.

But aside from the glory of reaching the cap, I did notice a bug most people are probably not going to get.

If you level up and don’t click any of the options until you level up again, you will not be able to choose a stat option again and essentially lose the levels you didn’t choose an option for.

Wow, I thought my character had reached the cap, but they are nowhere near that big! I guess it’s just that progress at my stage is not as noticable as it was before.

Absolutely love the game! Overall it’s enjoyable and as you might expect, very chill. There’s a lot I want to say, but for the most part I’m going to try and shorten it.

In regards to Upgrades, I think it might be best to make Passive Happiness +1 and Capacity +20. I know the end goal is to get the Resident to the Mystery Keg, but as it is they need 30 Level Ups worth of Capacity Training to reach it… and even so, why go for the Mystery Keg which takes 500 Cap and is 8000 kcal, when two cakes are 320 Cap and also 8000 kcal (even if the Mystery Keg is good for multiple food groups). With Passive Happiness, the reason it should be toned down is because the current meta is one Resident is your Happy Farm that you just sit in for an hour, and then the rest are normally Digestion. But making it +1 makes it so that it’s viable for all Residents.

Also… I think a lot of people would agree that having time pass for Residents even while not on them would be a huge upgrade. I know the style is meant to focus on one person at a time, but as it stands it really doesn’t feel good when you focus on a character and you know that time is paused for everyone else. Instead, I would recommend a system where every 10 seconds Residents you aren’t focusing on giving you the Happiness they’d normally give in 1 second. While every 5 seconds Residents lose Fullness they’d normally lose in 1 second. Preferably, a system such as this would make it so that when a Resident has 0 Fullness they don’t give any Happiness Points(when not focused on). So you want to take care of everyone and make sure everyone is fed and happy.

There’s so much you can do with this game and I’m looking forward to seeing what is done, but I think above is what would be extra nice to see in 0.4 or 0.5
Loving this game so much!

imo the “Happy Farm” is a necessary evil- there needs to be an efficient way to feed some of the more aggressively hungry residents. Sure, sitting and waiting for the number to tick up for a while can be boring, but I’d rather have a dedicated moneymaker than try in vain to have every character’s income be able to pay for their appetites. That just seems like wasted levels, even if you nerf it into the ground.

I think having passive happiness gains will be less important as more active ways to gain happiness are added. That being said, I think it would be nice to have passive happiness not something the player levels up directly because it does promote having one character being a happiness farm which I disagree with. I’d say have passive happiness be tied to level directly or have it associated with another system. Maybe some sort of achievement system where reaching milestones or doing certain activities increases your passive happiness gains.

One thing I’d like to see is some sort of camera mode where you could take pictures and then have them hang on the wall or something like that. I think having pictures of the characters throughout their journey would really drive home just how much they have gained.

Also fantastic game! I love it and hope to see it continue.
