Yo! Skelli here, working on turning an old story idea into a smol RPG with poofy lasses!
The basic gist of it follows a salarywoman and her partner, an inflatable young woman named Himiko; as they adventure through a big city, fight goons and corpos, and try to get to the bottom of the bio-corp conspiracy that wants this curiously balloony gal back in their clutches.
There’ll be two party members, fighting in 2D turnbased battles with several combination moves between the two that utilize Himiko’s elasticity in curious ways: Bounce off her for a flying kick, swing her around like a mace-and-chain, or let her really pump up huge to block attacks! She won’t just be a passive helper though, as she’d be able to heal(blowkiss) SalaryWoman, belly bounce foes, and much more.
I’d love to enlist some sprite artists skilled at anime-style, cute, and expressive characters/animations, and who are willing to pump up a pair of cuties to ridiculous sizes. Foes would be mostly corpo-themed or lab experiment-esque, but with an inflatable twist. Environments would be bright, colorful, and bubbly, but not terribly complex either.
