Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this - I wanted to peep into the files and give you an accurate answer before I said anything.
Right next to the waterfall, there’s a thing sticking out of the ground. Check that out and you should get the key you need! (If you haven’t gotten through this part already ) The rusty key is a key to something else entirely, but it was meant as a diversion for this room specifically.
I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience! I really, really loved working on Coven of Calahree, and at the risk of tipping my hand to what’s next after Cicada Springs is finished, I’m not quite ready to leave that story behind!
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of endgame content for the epilogue - it’s mostly a Where Are They Now for certain characters. However, if you can track down all the places where the Legitimate Businesswoman was over the course of the game and give her very legitimate wares to Lady Dienro, she’ll have a bit of a show in store for you.
That’s admittedly a limitation on my end - I’ve learned a LOT since I made this game, and if it were something I’d made today the epilogue would have a few more bells and whistles to it. For now, I recommend trying out the Bad Ends! There’s one for each chapter from 1-5, all unlocked in different ways.
Where can I find all of the same generator parts used for this game? I liked how calahree’s and lady death’s hairstyles looked like and want to use them for a game I plan to make characters for.
From looking at the itch.io link, I have one question to ask Bob, (since i just played the game on steam) Is there a difference between 1.1.3 and 1.1.4? Like is there more content with 1.1.4? Or is just the same but programmed to work a little better for windows than the Mac one.
The thing is, I have version 1.1.1.4 and I didn’t know if it also had that ending where, when I try to enter the game, it only shows version 1.1.3 haha
Hey! Sorry for the long wait. I’m not as diligent at checking this platform as I should be, given that Coven still draws up so much interest!
I believe that the difference between 1.1.3 and 1.1.4. is just a minor glitch. If it comes down to using the 1.1.3. on your Mac or trying to convert the 1.1.4., I highly recommend playing the former.
