I tried both yours and Hopelessloner’s version of the mod.
I’m not sure if this is me, but the royal court isn’t showing and just shows the enlarged Carnalitas bed instead, also on the bottom left of the screen, when you have your character opened up and it shows your family, there is stuff in the way, like the menu for finding characters on the map but instead it’s there.
Anyone know how to fix?
Elder Kings 2 is not currently supported for 1.16, on the mod’s steam workshop page It says It supports version 1.15.02 and 1.15.1 “Arnand the Fox”. But when It does eventually updates, unless you use CBO, It should work flawlessly.
Sounds like you have some other mod enabled that’s out of date, or at least your load order is messed up. Check my guide for the load order, and that you’ve got the most recent versions of each mod.
As for WGaC, both mine and HopelessLoner’s versions will work with 1.16. I haven’t had the time to check what they did with their most recent version so idk what’s different about it, but from a quick glance they’ve only updated their older version, not including any of the work I did. Either way, the mod still works.

Hi, so I checked and it still has that same issue. I only have the basic ones like carnalitas, the cbo and barbershop as well as the wgac mod, switching out from both you and the other guy is still the same.
It seems other mods are having this issue as well.

Oh, actually mb, yeah WGaC is broken. When 1.16 released window_character.gui was updated to work with the new nomadic stuff and outdated mods broke in exactly that way. I use R:UI which completely rewrites that file so I never noticed that bug. I’ll see if I can get a fix out, shouldn’t be too difficult.
Thanks! I don’t have a pic of the throneroom in royal court, but it just shows the carnalitas bed instead and nothing else if that makes sense.
Here you go. I couldn’t replicate your throneroom bug so that’s probably some other mod. I only had Carnalitas, CBO Unofficial, WGaC, Better Barbershop & the CBO BB Compatch enabled (in that order, top to bottom), all of them up to date. The character window now works though.
This is based on my version of the mod, I still don’t want to do a full difference check with HL’s version. If you want to use their version though just take window_character.gui out of this and put it in their version.
