Hi all, NatsuuMaki here (Formerly MakiFan53). This is a project I’ve been working on for the past few months - a full Doki Doki Literature Club fan game centered around the girls gaining weight - complete with original visuals, story, etc.
What I’m uploading here is just a short demo of Natsuki’s chapters, of which there will be three. This is a rough build, so everything is pretty subject to change at this time but this should give you a good idea of what’s to come. Dialogue choices do make some small differences in how the game goes, so you may have some different outcomes depending on how you play (just some dialogue + CG changes for now, lol).
I’m still pretty new to scripting so some things are certainly “bandaged” together just for the demo (if anybody wants to go critique my code, that would genuinely be appreciated lol) so while there shouldn’t really be any bugs, there are definitely things that could function better.

2/28/2026 Update: New sprites!
Hi, all. I’m not sure if editing the post like this is the best avenue for providing updates, but until I find a better way, I’ll do it.
I ended up spending most of January working on the game - reworking code, sprites, adding new screens, all kinds of stuff that I’ll show off here:

First, here’s Natsuki’s updated sprites for her casual outfit and her 1st phase uniform sprites! I’m MUCH happier with the way these look compared to the old ones and I plan to rework all of the girls sprites at least a bit. The main goal here was to get Natsuki to look more on-model, expressive in her poses, and for the art overall to match my current style. Let me know what you think!
Next, here’s a few of the new backgrounds I’ve done. To be honest, I have literally all of them for Natsuki’s story done already, which is nice since they’ll pretty much be used across all of the stories. Also, you’ll see that one of these stands out from the rest - the Cafe, which appears in chapters 2 and 4 of the story I wrote for Natsuki which her route will be based on. There will be more original locations, however I wanna keep them to a minimum since I don’t want to stray too far from the source material. I have few little rules in my head about that, but that’s a discussion for another time.
As far as the code rewriting goes, it’s honestly just been a lot of redefining parameters to be more cohesive and organized for myself (the way sprites are named, location of certain transformations/stats, streamlining the way stats work, organizing scripts, etc.). As I’ve mentioned before, I’m still very new to coding and kinda learning as I go, so I’m trying to iron things out as much as possible before I get in too deep.
With all of that said, production is going well! All of the pieces are in place for me to continue working and that’ll probably be very soon! (Trying to avoid burnout lol). Hopefully the next update is a new demo release, or maybe even another chapter for Natsuki? We’ll see lol. Stay tuned!
