Desert Shelter

Hello guys! I’ve tried to increase FPS in the game, so I made an experimental 1.1b version, I got +100% FPS there, so you may also try it and tell me if it works for you also.

Hello guys!
I was overwhelmed by Unreal Engine, mostly because of unmotivated comlexity and next because to optimize it I should decrease quality and after this I would get 30-45 fps on my RTX 3090, I do not think it is a real optimization. So all the graphics features of UE may not be available to the gamers, but mostly for filmmakers, where they on their side render everything.
I know that people can make UE games more optimized and it may be my lack of knowledge. But it does not change the fact that this game engine is not for me. I was making the game at it’s current state for 6 months, I’m the only person who do all the work: idea, UI design, programming (blueprints in my case), and I was spending all my time for this game.
So I think this topic may be closed, as I do not plan any updates after this)
And for now I could not return to RenPy, but I’m now using Unity and it works much better for me. It’s graphics looks better than UE on minimal quality, but fps for me is about 500 and it works on different platforms without too much troubles. And C# looks logical to me (C++ is too complicated). So for now I think Unity is a great and universal game engine and I will stick to it. Stay tuned if you want to see what’s coming)
