I dont know if its appropriate to ask or not, I like the story, but will the game have WG in it? Or will it be just stuffing? And will Sasha actually be one that will grow as well?
I hope to have both in it, and Sasha might. It’s just taken a while to actually get the game’s foundation done. I’ve also needed to learn a lot x.x I do need to get better at writing, so that’s the main thing I’m gonna focus on going forward.
Sorry for being quiet. I’ve been working on stuff. I just finished these 2 models today. I feel really proud of them.
Finally working on using all the building blocks I’ve been making. I’m having a lot of fun so far and I’m excited for people to explore the new areas.
Behold, gameplay
I’m gonna work on getting some renders of Haruko done and then put them in so there’s some progression with stuffing.
Update’s mostly done. Got a lot of the lagginess from earlier taken care of. I also did a stuffing minigame. I feel like I’m actually getting the hang of this engine now, so it’ll be easier for me to do updates going forward. I’ll try my best to get this out by the weekend. The only thing I really need to do is get the writing portion caught up and send it out to playtesters. I might do a couple little pixel posters as well. I did set my deadline for tomorrow, but I’m going to release whatever I have done on Sunday if I don’t get everything I want done by then.
Update’s like 99% done now. Just gotta figure out a few lines of dialogue. In the meantime, I finally figured out the mechanic for boss fights I wanna do.
Game’s now ready for playtesting. I’m gonna send it out to people, then while I wait for feedback I’m going to make a couple other little visual assets and work on adding music / sfx. Hopefully I can get the update out tomorrow night.
Alright so I discovered that I accidently forgot to add a plugin, so now the keyboard is customizable. Oops. The game is much more accessible now thankfully.
Just released the new version of Dream Diver. I’ll write a more in depth update post later, because I’m extremely tired. It’s out though. Go play it.

- Bug where you can get softlocked in the konbini is fixed
- Cleaned up the game so it runs MUCH better
- Added keyboard / controller mapping
I feel proud of myself cause it only took around 3 weeks to get this out. Hopefully I can do another update before the year is over.
After a lot of thinking I’ve decided this is going to be my main project going forward. When I’m done updating my other 2 games, I’m going to take a couple months to write the story outline and play a lot of games I either haven’t finished or have been inspired by. I’ve been trying to do a lot on my own, which caused me to become overwhelmed. The beginning of next year is going to be more relaxed. The only real work I’m doing on the game is going to be research and drafting the story. I’m not going to pressure myself with a deadline. It’ll be as long as I need it to be.
I’ll also be streaming myself playing those games in my Discord server, so anyone can come hang out if they want.
I need to start taking better care of myself because I don’t feel like I have enough to show for a year and a half.
