After seeing some of the prices for some of the more stronger weapons as well the WG potions, Maybe you could implement some events involving you finding some stray bags of gold that roughly go from 20 to 35 with later gold findings on the upper floors going up even further?
I think that if you go through the two current floors you can already make quite some money, from monsters, bosses, as well as selling items you found such as food or equipment.
Stronger monsters such as skeletons already give a generous reward.
Maybe on later floors, but for now I have no plans to add events that give out gold. The weight gain/loss potions are supposed to be hard to buy since they drastically alter your weight.
