Well the story gets better and better with each game I am liking what been happening and how our belly sister are getting closer and closer and then end was good I mean the set up for the new new big bad was kind of scary I can not wait to see what he can do.
Another awesome addition to the story, the developments are promising and leaves us wishing for MOAR.
Keep on trucking!
I’m pretty sure the major general was referred to before Sasha’s fall, and I also don’t really think the modernites would just give over control of their organization to her just because of her memory loss. Who knows though? Anything could happen, and us not directly seeing Sasha’s death probably means she will be back in some way later.
I wonder if at some point Mitzi will be able to use vore like the other girls
That would be quite the surprise if that happens next chapter.
She’s definitely a character to keep an eye on!! ; )
Hey everyone just wanna say Happy Thanksgiving/Belly Stuffing Day! Here’s some art to celebrate! (I also plan on creating more standalone Evoria art but they’ll be released two weeks early on patreon before being released publicly!)
I also wanna let you guys know that chapter 6 has been coming along smoothly! We can’t give you guys a release date but it’ll definitely release soon!
Looks like those girls are having the time of their lives this Thanksgiving. ( well, aside from Mitzi.)
I recently found this game and so far I’ve been enjoying it. I had downloaded chapter 4 and by the time i sat down and played all the way through it chapter 5 was out (so I got to jump straight into it!) The writing in this is really good and actually funny. All of the safe vore scenes were really cute and I hope that the girls find a way to do that more and potentially sleep in eachother’s stomachs. Maybe since Lillian swallowed the tent they can use her belly as one? I was really hoping that at the end Renee would eat Mitzi for all of the terrible things she’s done. (Would be fitting since she tried to make them eat eachother).
While i think you’ve done great job so far, i do have a couple of critiques:
-
The bomb fight didn’t make much since and was a little confusing. Unless I’m missing something, you can’t really do anything except waste your turns and wait for the bomb to go off makes it a bit frustrating. The AI makes the suggestion that you could escape (which would be the smart thing to do) but the escape action is greyed out and doesn’t do anything. The weirdest part though was Renee’s seeming indifference to the fact that they were both about to die. After that tender moment they shared where Renee displayed how much she cares about Naomi and wants to protect her, it doesn’t make much since for her to just sit there and say nothing. Ultimately she protects them both but still. I feel like the bomb didn’t need to be a fight and maybe could have instead just been part of the initial cutscene with Renee activating her new power while trying to shield Naomi from the blast.

The gulp move seems a lot worse now. In ch 4 it was a gambit move that was very inconsistent but would insta KO enemies. Now it still is inconsistent (kinda seems even more inconsistent) but doesn’t immediately KO. It kinda feels like the worst option in every situation, even when it’s your only option. If it had a much more consistent chance to hit or didn’t cost any SP to use i think it would help it. Maybe implementing a way for the player to know when an enemy can gulped instead could help. Like enemies can only be gulped after they take a certain amount of damage or when a condition is met that guarantees the gulp will work, providing a visual indication to let the player know. Unfortunately something like this would be a lot more work to implement.
These are just my 2 cents based on my experience with the game so far and I’m curious to know what others think. But overall I’ve had a lot of fun and can’t wait to see what happens next
Oh wow, thanks for all your feedback!!! It’s super helpful getting critiques like this, so thanks a lot for taking the time to write it all out!!
For the bomb fight, my main goal was kinda getting across a feeling of helplessness, where you can’t really do anything to stop the bomb from going off. That’s why I decided it’d fit better as a battle instead of just a regular cutscene, so the player has direct control and thus feels more panicked when the attacks don’t work! It’s more of a stylistic choice than anything haha
The gulp move always gives me trouble!! I’ve done like five different variations of it at this point, and they all have their own pros and cons. Mechanically, I like this version the best, but I think you’re 100% on the mark that enemies should say whether it’s possible to gulp them or not. I’ll see if I can add something in that accomplishes that!!
But yeah, thanks again for playing and for taking the time to write your critiques!! You’re awesome!!!
The bomb fight I felt was a good addition, there’s already so many cutscenes before and after it that it felt like a change of pace, giving narration through a different medium than just text boxes, and one that the player has some form of input in. Not that any of the cutscenes were bad, of course, but if everything was told purely through cutscenes it would likely have felt a bit drawn out and monotonous.
I agree on the gulp suggestion too, when I played I only bothered to gulp the weakest drones and attacked everything else because gulp didn’t seem to affect them. Whether I had to weaken them first or if it was just impossible I didn’t know, but the stronger drones were usually 2-3 hit KOs anyways so there wasn’t much point trying to weaken them for a gulp.
If the goal is to make the player feel helpless then a fight you can’t win can do that, but for me personally the bomb fight didn’t. Rather than feeling helpless, it felt forced since there was a way for them to (or at the very least attempt to) escape and seemingly enough time to try. This somewhat revealed the hand of the author for me. Maybe adding a part where the tunnel they used to enter the room is collapsed as part of the trap when the bomb is revealed could help. With that the player is forced by the story into a fight they can’t win rather than just the game forcing you into a fight to advance the plot.
I didn’t realize you you went through so many iterations of the gulp move, maybe i was just trying to use it before weakening enemies enough.
Also don’t feel pressured to make changes especially if they’re gonna dreastically increase your workload. I’d rather see your game finished than you burn yourself out fixing all minor issues that people have (mine included). (I’ve seen a lot projects end before completion because of burn out due to the creator trying to appease fans)
I don’t really understand how the current gulp works, but I agree with others in that it felt very inconsistent. I’ve never used RPG Maker before, so I don’t know how moves work behind the scenes, but if possible, I feel that gulp should be more consistent, even if it means there are additional requirements for its use.
My idea for how it could work is that whenever an enemy is at or below a certain threshold of HP, you can gulp them. As your characters level up, the threshold can increase. This would mean that for weaker enemies, you could gulp them right away, while for stronger enemies, you would have to weaken them first. Also, I feel that its better this way than what many other games do, which is base it on percentage. Doing it that way, the problem becomes that when your character is too strong, your moves that should get the enemy low enough to swallow just end up killing.
Just an idea, as again, I have no idea how moves in RPG Maker work but I like it because it would make your character’s “vore abilities” progress with them and make you feel like they are growing and becoming more powerful as the story continues.
In rpg maker, you can define a lot of stuff with “States” (is like status effects like any rpg game). For example, if a character dies,is by default inflicted with the “dead” state, and you can decide what they can and cannot do in those states.
Skills works by defining stuff with formulas (to calculate damage like League of legends does) and/or inflicting an state to the chosen target (which can be like an state that buffs the user or to inflict your typical poison status in rpgs). I think in this case the gulp move works by inflicting a “devoured state” to the target.
I don’t think is bad the current version of the gulp move, but for me, i had a lot of issues because the skill mostly missed its targets and since your opponents can escape, then it makes the skill quite unreliable to use. The creator said about putting a mark to the enemies to see if they can be devoured or not, which i think is nice. Both Fatties eating fatties and ApocalypseXL have a mechanic like that.
Yeah, I figured that was how it worked based on my experience playing the game, but I guess I should have clarified what I meant. I meant that I didn’t know how the success or failure of the move was determined. Is it just a flat x% chance every time you use it, or is that chance different for each enemy? Does your level impact the chance of success? etc.
Is somewhat of both, you can make an attack to have a flat% to hit but you can also make the enemies to have a chance to dodge moves (for example, let’s say you have a move that has a 95% to hit, while you have an enemy that has a 20% to dodge moves, reducing the total hit chance). There is also the fact that if the move is physical or magical or to always hit (you can have a chance to dodge physical moves, but not for magical moves if you set the target to that) I don’t know the creator of Evoria designed the move but it’s something to considerate when makings a move like that.
Hey guys! SeaBea did the honor of organizing this cool survey to get a read on your guys’ thoughts about Evoria so far! It’s got questions about favorite characters, chapters, and just stuff you thought about the game, so if you wanna give us some quick feedback, we’d very much appreciate it!

And done! Sent it off and cant wait ti get responses! And see who wins!
Just finished the survey. I hope it gets through.
