Faehna Engine is a 3D multiplayer sandbox survival game inspired by the TerraFirmaCraft mod for Minecraft as well as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
We at Nekomimi Software, also under the name Plump Pasture Co for our more fetishy games, will be releasing Faehna Engine for free and open sourcing it under the AGPL license so that anyone may create their own works based around it or using it.
It will be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The base game will be very light on the fetish side as we would like to have as many people enjoy it as possible, though it will still be 18+ and have some especially squishy player models available. However, we will be releasing an official “mod” for free through the forum which will add weight gain, lactation, vore, and possibly more.
I hope you enjoy the culmination of my many years of work on this game and its predecessors.

Faehna Engine is a 3D sandbox survival game that could be described as a more realistic fantasy Minecraft with smooth terrain and RPG elements and a style similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Using the Voxel Tools module for the Godot game engine, it is possible to create 3D smooth terrain that can be easily modified in real time. Combined with an advanced structure building system, you can create a world in which almost anything can be built.

The gameplay itself will be a fun mix of various mechanics that mimic real life while still keeping the game interesting. Farm various crops, cook delicious foods, find huge clusters of ore through prospecting, search for clay to create pottery in a pit kiln, learn magic, travel the beautiful landscape, raid mysterious seemingly-endless labyrinths, and defend your home from monsters.
The game is meant to be played with friends or your partner, but singleplayer support will also exist through a special option when creating a world.
Character creation is one of our biggest priorities. We would like for players to be able to have the freedom to play as anyone they want, whether you prefer to be a human, furry, cat girl, or anything else. We will try to support as many different shapes and sizes of characters as we can, and for those we don’t, you’re free to mod them in.

Roadmap
Faehna Engine’s 1st true release will be preceded by several pre-alpha versions, v0.1 through v0.7, though everything is subject to change.
Pre-alpha versions will be released free of charge for playtesting, or you can try compiling the game yourself from the repository after the first prototype is released.

v0.1 - Goal: To create an extremely basic prototype where 1-8 players may connect to each other and create or destroy terrain, as well as place or remove structures.

v0.2 - Goal: To add a basic item system where the player can move items between inventories. This prototype will also feature furniture placement and interaction, item processing, and basic crafting. This prototype adds basic mod support as well.

v0.3 - Goal: To add a little bit of real gameplay, with tool creation, clay deposits, ore veins, prospecting, smelting, and basic smithing.

v0.4 - Goal: To add farming, hunger, effects, nutrition, and foraging for wild crops. A basic version of the attribute system will be added as well.
- Mod Goal: To create a simple mod for the game which adds weight gain depending on the number of calories eaten and your physical activity.

v0.5 - Goal: To add animals, rotting, and fertilizer.

v0.6 - Goal: To add a fun and interesting combat system and monsters to test it out on.
- Mod Goal: To add vore to the existing combat system.

v0.7 - Goal: To add monster raids which endanger your home, structure damage, defensive structures, and an adaptive event system which may cause beneficial or detrimental events depending on your current status in order to create a fun story.
Once all of the pre-alpha versions are complete, we will focus on polishing the game’s experience for a full release: Alpha 1.0.

With v0.0.1 freshly completed, I will be heading to sleep because I have been working on this since early in the morning and I’m exhausted.
