Thank you guys for all of your kind words and support. Itās a relief to know you all are on my side and Iām allowed to spend this moment of weakness in your company. Iām already feeling a bit better, so Iād like to reintroduce talking about planned features:
So, do you all remember how I asked the community to come up with ideas for characters? Someone suggested adding an incel cookā¢ and Iām glad to announce today he is more real than ever!
He is a serf working in kitchen with a hidden agenda: in his previous world all the women were extremely fat and gluttonous, so he canāt help but risk his life fattenning the nobles in the university with his cooking.
Gameplay-wise, this will lead to the blue NPCs on the map becoming fatter, as well as passively making all the other girls gain a steady amount of weight. He will also have his non-fetish storyline, you know the drill.
Iām not sure if his content will be ready for 1.6, but he will definitely come out between 1.6 and 1.7.
If you have any ideas about his functionality, feel free to write it out, Iām still in the planning phase!

That may be the best idea iāve seen around the site yet. Demographical weight gain is certainly an underserved niche. Of all the games iāve seen, thereās only maybe a handful that include it in any respect. Looking forward to seeing some fate background NPCs.

I hope thereās some good dialogue describing and acknowledging the students gains, both by the chef and kirill, but also maybe the girls have something to say about it too.

I would say depending on the amount of money you pay him that could turn into how quickly they gain. Though Iād imagine thatās probably already in the works?

Yeah, Iām also thinking about being able to ask the cook to tell you the stats about the average female weight in SPAUN, their caloric intake, bmi, etc. Maybe also ask him to sabotage the weight loss somehow?
Last night, when commissioning one of the artists for the december works, Iāve asked them to draw two noble girls, who will reside in the cafeteria all the time. They wonāt be romanceable, but you will be able to see the effects of the global weight gain through them.

I wouldnāt say in the works, because I was not sure on the implementation of his payment. I donāt like the direct approach of just giving everyone money, feels too bland and boring. While writing you this, I think I came up with an idea: because we will have more types of ashes in the next version of the game, maybe you will need to give him different types of ashes for different results? One will increase the appetite, one will increase the weight gain multiplier, etcā¦
Sounds good, like make him her food supplier. I love this.

Glad you are back at it and feeling inspired again Key! As usual seems like youāre already cooking up some fresh new stuff, and I think the cook and the school wide fattening is a pretty great sounding move.
My weird suggestion with this if we want variety and to avoid another NPC you just pay to do things is maybe to have whoever youāre dating sort of sponsor our little serf friend with each girl maybe having different effects on the schoolās eating habits? Or like Galina might want different sorts of foods being prepared than Lera or Milana. I dunno, this is a half baked idea lol but also I think its fun to have these characters interact and know each other, might be a little complicated though.

Holy crap, those references are gorgeous. Is it significantly easier to implement a character like one of them since thereās 0 to minimal dialogue and player interaction with them? (Never touched game development myself so i have no clue where the difficulty of different scopes lies)

Yeah unfortunately the exorcism mini game just doesnāt seem to work for me
. I always get zero percent, even if accuracy is at 100 percent. This is just an example of what I am doing, is this the correct idea? Also does the āmake milana beg pathā open anything? It keeps showing a tick mark about making her horny but she her dialogue seems to indicate I am locked out of the feedee route that way.

This actually sounds like a fun and neat implementation, easy to code too! Expect to see this when Iām done with this idea.
I think there might be some dialogue with them because Iām just that graphomaniac, especially since they are also intended to be a mirror to your reputation level (future mechanic). If you are infamous, they will hate you, if you are nearing the end of the game, they will be your fangirls.
But yeah, they are pretty easy to implement if our goal is not to give them a full set of sprites and portraits.
You are doing everything right, you are just running into a pretty rare bug which breaks this sequence, Iām still attempting to fix it, so expect it to be more reliable next update. Meanwhile, it is possible to fix this in-game by deleting saves or maybe starting a new game.
Iāve pasted the wrong script for showing if Milana is horny/not horny, already fixed that for the next update. But the whole interaction works as intended. Basically, she is not horny enough so she locks you out of a feedee route.

Ah thanks, how do you unlock that? is there a certain relationship level you need to hit or something?
Maybe he could cook things for Kirill in exchange for some money. I could see him as some kind of black market dealer who deals in food so fattening itās downright illegal. As for what involvement the other girls could have with him, Milana comes to mind who could fund his endeavors. Of course this is all just to balloon her BMI according to her master plan.
As far as other fetishes I could see added, Iām less extreme on my tastes than some here and Iām wondering if belly sounds will be a thing. Hoping belly sex will be done with more than just Galina too. The ability to get more girls than Galina drunk is another thing I want to see.

How do the romances and WG work?
You have to spend time with them for a few days, then take them on a couple dates. Eventually you will get the oppurtunity to get in a relationship with them. With Lera you need to sabotage her diet, and for Milana you have to stuff one of the girls and she will ask to be fed.
