@voraciousocto I think you mean Cayenne, she will play a major part in the game in future updates.
@Grow_BBW Next update will not contain much in terms of player choices and story, this update is all about Leanne and interactive feeding scenes. There is more in the update but those 2 things are the focus.
I am working with great writers to create better story and choices for all characters and the main character, so this will be coming in future updates.
For everyone who likes a great story and wants this game to excel on that front i would love if you play the Leanne story in 0.03 and tell me if that kind of writing is something you would like to see across the whole game.
0.03 doesn’t appear to be out, might help to make the request that we comment specifically on the style of writing in her new storyline after it is out.
Unless that was a typo and you wanted commentary on her writing in 0.02? In which case I would say I do not like it. Her content in 0.02 was amazing because of all the awesome new art design, and the premise of her storyline, I loved that, but the actual writing style of each sentence was a weak point. I didn’t mind though because it was just an excuse for some XXX content (which I was very impressed by).
I am hoping her storyline is fleshed out in 0.03 and she is given more characterization (which if it wasn’t a typo appears to be your goal for 0.03?)
I think @Bladerune9 was referring to the update 0.3 that is scheduled to come out in a few days time(assuming all goes to plan) and they want feedback on said content when it releases. Since the new content will focus on Leanne.
Fattening Career 0.03 is now released on Patreon, Windows, Mac and Linux today and Android tomorrow.
Keep in mind that Patreon does payments every start of the month, so if you want to optimize your Patreon sub it might be best to wait until September to subscribe.
This is the awkard thing about patreon, I like to support artists on patreon in months they release. I cancel at the end of every month because I hate rebills, but my get a good deal sense inside me, well, it’s commanding me to wait for September 1st, because that’s just a couple days from now.
I hope this doesn’t give the artists I support the impression I’m dissatisfied.
@namad I do the same, I know personally that if i dont cancel everytime I forget and suddenly I’m subbed for 6months without looking at it lol.
And I also want to make clear that all updates for the game will be made free at some point, for 0.03 this will be when 0.04 releases. So it would also be an option to wait it out.
In a perfect world, devs with an inconsistent release cycle would switch to the “pay per release” setting instead of monthly, but most devs are a little iffy about making that change because it makes their income less predictable.
I like it when they have that setting, because you can limit how many times per month that you’ll pay them, so they can’t suddenly make 10 uploads in a month and drain your bank account of a big chunk of money, and if they go a month without an update, you’re fine, you pay nothing.
patreon does. but you have to choose when you create your patreon account which i’ve heard is the reason no one switches to it, patreon refuses to let them.
In version 0.03a, right after the anime shop dvd event the next time you watch leanne’s stream and trigger the “freebee” event. You can’t skip either animation option and it locks the text from progressing right after. You have to wait (I would assume a min) and eventually you can progress past it.
I wanted to do a quick update on the future of the game.
This last update was a bit hectic around release date, because i misjudged my own capabilities and how much work it would take to do certain things, for this reason some parts are left untouched since 0.02.
Because of this i decided to take some extra time for the next update to flesh out some workflows and get the quality to a point where i am proud of it, so therefore i will probably not release an update in september, so if you already played 0.03 and want to subscribe for updates, i recommend skipping the sub this september, i will still be running polls and dev updates/teasers during the month of september, but the next update will most likely be in oktober.
For anyone who played through 0.03, i would love to hear your thoughts about the update, any criticism and suggestions are welcome.

You added and tweaked a lot in this update, and it was all great. I encountered no bugs since you patched it.
I loved being able to read books at home as well as in class to progress that faster, the increase in how much money we make for a full day of work, the animations, all of the added story, and the new feeding mechanic.
This game has a lot going on and I think the ambition and effort is worth the extra time for updates.
