Hey, I’ve hit a snag in the game, I’ve paid off the Penthouse, sided with the Cult, and found Bella, but I’m stuck on what to do next, the Cult member is still telling me to gain weight even though I’m at the biggest sprite level, and Nanette and the new bakery owner (I forget her name) are still acting like Bella’s missing, am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I can do to progress the story?
@Herrman & @debuwu Well, not that it does you folk any good now, but I found the error and fixed it! Thanks to you two identifying the map in question, I could look over it thoroughly, and see that it was functioning as intended. I was so focused on something having gone wrong in the dungeon itself that I didn’t think about the generating part of it-- turns out, I’d forgotten that I’d made multiple entrances to the dungeons, and I’d been focusing on a single entrance point (in the city) when it also appears by the school and suburbs…
I wish I could give you the time you lost back, and I appreciate you putting up with such a stupid mistake on my part!
@Random325 You’ve done all there is to do at this point! I’m working on more story content, although sadly it’s more widening the scope and scenarios than perhaps furthering what currently exists.

so i finally got in the jail and dont see the new character? Am I suppose to b a certain lvl?
I believe you might be conflating some things, which is on me for unclear in-game identification. In Phase one, you can get captured by GAIN, and sent to what is called in-game a GAIN Prison, iirc.
In Phase Two, a character (Nanette) is sent to an “official” prison, St. Hampton’s, which will be a future area in the game. Also, there are GAIN dungeons (like the cult dungeons) but using the logic the game’s thus far established, one might also think those are prisons, as well.
I should probably label and re-label some things!

Hi, I discovered this game recently and I’m loving it, but I have a few questions:
- How do I get Charity to join the group?
- What makes Rachel go to work and why does she always come back with 0 money?
- Any tips on how to get money quickly to pay Charity?

Hmm. I’m assuming you mean when you’re trying to send her out to earn money. If nothing has broken, then you’re supposed to select one of the three options to give her; the game then checks if you have the requisite lunch, and takes that from you. If you don’t, it boots you back to select something else, iirc.
Once she’s left, you need to run one of the dungeons real quick, which will cause her to reappear in your apartment.
If it’s early early game, you just feed her lauren, her roommate.
Charity has several different join conditions. If you have Phoebe, she’ll join regardless of whether there’s room for her. If not, then she’ll join if you beat her in the early game. And if you didn’t do that, she’ll join if you’re level 30, I believe.
For the rachel payout, I think I had messed up an eventing somewhere. I’m pretty sure it’s fixed in my build.
Depending on your party composition, trading Bella for money with the mob is an option. Otherwise, you might just have to grind mercy, which gives you money relative to how many people you spare.
I’m glad you like it, and sorry you’re having troubles with it! I’m, uh, still working things out, haha.
found some bugs:
- When I finished Bella and Mafia’s mission the screen was dim during the whole game.
- When Rachel comes back from work and Jeff is in the group she can eat him, when I come back to his house he can be put into the party again, but if I try to get him eaten again by Rachel the main character that is eaten.
- Choosing to wear the underwear in the mirror makes the main character’s sprite go back to its previous size, and even when the underwear is removed, the size remains smaller.

What’s the maximum level you can reach? Like weight stage you can reach?
I… Wanna say currently the player, the roommate, and maybe Rachel have 5 different spritesets… With the other party members have 2-3.
In the current demo level 40 is the max with all of the sizes
Hi, I’m having trouble finding the Diet Soda for Nan. I looked through the tread and the only response was “find it for yourself”. I don’t think that it’s necessarily wrong to take that approach, but I would appreciate it if I could at least get a hint as to where I should look/what I should do.

note, it seems that rumia is the only one who can distract npc’s distracted by sound, even if rahcel or pheobe can learn belch.
bug: also if you recruit jeff in act2 and then go home and talk to rachel she’ll tell you that youre over the party limit (but if you don’t do this exact thing you can just roll a party of 5 just fine) also being told you’re over the party limit here, well, it results in a soft lock, you can neither accept nor back out of the selection screen.
to be clear you go to your original home, and tell rachel to eat her way back into the party to get to the softlock.
