A lot of bugs in this game huh
Usually bugs tend to happen after an update happens it’s common sense for there to be some bugs
I have found another game feature locking bug. I don’t know when it happens, but I think in happen in the motel that causes the order button doesn’t work. Sorry I can be more specific will keep I out for it next time.
addendum: In the post you made explaining party limit you mention that jeff does not count toward the max? I’m just making sure I understand because when I add jeff to the party I was told that I was at max.
Sorry for pointing out but there’s a problem related to the main story in phase 3 if you side with Expa. In the Expa base there is no NPC providing the list of companions - related Quests, so those Quests can’t even be started or completed. I remember in my gain and cult runs the Quests providing character was next to the one asking for money, but here in the Expa HQ there’s nobody for that.
Is feeding 5 skinnies to the girl in apt. 104 the end of the Noisy noisy neighbours quest or can you make her actually eat the pred in apt. 102?
Don’t think I can keep playing till gets some patches cuz of phase 3 bugs in bunker but that just means I’m excited for when those come
Seconded, the latter two also happened to me on a GAIN run, unsure if that’s the issue but can confirm these aren’t hard to replicate, unfortunately
There is a bug related to this laser barrier in the bunker if you sided with Expa in phase 2. After destroying the 1st furnace this barrier shouldn’t be here, yet it’s still here so it’s impossible to reach the second furnace and to complete the quest. This bug was NOT present in my runs with Gain and Cult, as I’ve successfully managed to complete those game runs
is there any way to get rid of party members besides eating them?
More bugs:
1: Entering the second floor apartment and digesting there in Phase 3 will teleport you back to Phase 2.
2:
Rumia gets stuck knocking on Polly’s door forever. This is probably because I recruited Polly, but its a bit of a problem
3: the “Guess the code” option appeared too early at the gas station in my playthough and I already guessed all options. Once I actually got the quest for it and returned, I blew up immediately.
How did you get rumia to knock on Polly’s door?
No, once you’ve recruited them you gotta eat them to remove them
In this quest, you have to push Rumia into Polly’s door via walking into her. The problem for me is that once you recruit Polly, I think the quest just breaks.
i know i already asked that but, does anyone know how do i get into the college in phase 3
Haven’t played in quite some time, maybe 0.3 or 0.4? Really enjoying the updates! Love the new artwork, too!
I’ve been mostly playing this for the enjoyment so, if you’ve seen my bug reports before, I haven’t been as analytical with screenshots as I usually am. There’s a lot to cover if I do another run to get them all, but I do want cover a lot that may still be helpful. I’ve probably forgot some, I’ll post them if I did, this is all from memory anyway lol
Also: Having everyone getting progressively fatter in each phase?
Please note: Massive spoilers below.
Now, time for a w–w-
WALL OF TEXT!! AW YEAH!
Non-phase specific:
-
I don’t know if this because of the game coding, the game engine, or my new PC, but the game freezes and I have to hit F5 to refresh and reload a save. It doesn’t crash, the music keeps playing even, it just… stops moving. Happens randomly, no real pattern to it (this includes at the title screen). My PC doesn’t show performance issues with the program, so I think it’s one of the two former?
-
If you toggle off vore when prompted in Phase 1, every recruitable major character besides Kui, Rumia, and Rachel have “eat” still present in their WEAK skill options. I know the party members, have the option (or outright will, quest depending) to canonically eat someone. I’m hopeful the player’s battle mechanic for these characters is just a bug?
-
A lot of text is still cut off at the end of the text box. It’s very frequent, regardless of what phase you’re in. It’s not as bad as I remember it in the first couple versions of the game, which is great. Just a lot of them are missed, and sometimes either part of or an entire word is just missed because it runs off the in-game text box.
-
Not many typos, which is nice. I’ll have to find the specific ones to fix, sorry. Just putting it here to both acknowledge and remind myself if I run a few runs for QA for screenshots. There are instances where there’s a code/flag that shows in text sometimes. [9.1] for example. Is that just a filler/reminder for the dev for a future update?
-
Rumia’s Belch ability says it hits all targets but is still random targeting, like Burp does. It hits slightly harder, which is lovely, but it is still randomized.
-
Farm: Sparing the pig/cow/chicken women you encounter don’t give you their costume parts as the cowgirl in the field suggested (though she did say “may” give it to you). Still just random drops. Doesn’t matter if it’s a triggered fight with an on-screen sprite or random encounter. Is it a higher drop chance? And if so, is it only a slightly higher chance?
-
Farm: The woman selling you entry to the main course can only be approached from the right side. Not from below. Also it’s 1500 gold in both phase 1 and 2. An NPC said the price “went up” but it’s never changed between the two phases.
-
Several “Second” Support interactions between party members don’t exist.
-
Priya doesn’t have a favorite candy.
In Phase 1:
-
The book on Kui’s nightstand (that used to explain the game mechanics before they got overhauled) is gone in Phase 1, but it’s still there in Phase 2.
-
The man in the parking lot next to the bakery: says “Rite?” instead of “Right?”, unless the spelling is intentional. I get the feeling it may be, and it kind of fits, but posting here just in case it’s not.
-
When doing the Recruiting Bella quest, after you give her the Skinnies she wants or (if vore is “disabled”) the $600 she gives as an alternate, the player is transported back to Kui’s apartment. This has been happening since Bella was first implemented, and there is no explanation why.
-
Relatedly, you have to do Bella’s quest to get both the explanation for progressing to Phase 2 when you hit level 20, and the in-game switch that toggles to allow said progression. Making this a side quest you have to do to progress the game. (To make it clear, you don’t have to recruit either Bella or Nanette. But you do have to complete Bella’s quest.) I know something has to trigger this, but it’s not very intuitive to make it a specific side quest (with exception to the clever way you’re forced to go to the bakery and deal with Maria/Gwen first. I like how you did that with the GAIN agents, well done).
-
Quest “Recruiting Jamie”: It’s not made clear the cheerleaders you need to confront to feed her only spawn one at a time around the campus. Or that one of them is outside. As silly as it may sound, having that briefly explained will help a ton (Side note: the last one / boss fight? Brilliantly done. Loved that twist.) Finally, if you move to Phase 2 without completing the quest, it’s still in “Available” and not “Failed.”
-
GAIN prison thingy (when you’re captured): Does the prison key still drop anymore? I can’t get it to drop, even knowing it’s a 10% chance.
-
The gates in the GAIN prison change as they “turn” (event marker does) when you interact with them. The events will both need the “turn to player” option unchecked.
In Phase 2:
-
(Note: I’ve only sided with the cultists so far, don’t know if this happens when you side with GAIN or neither). When leaving the apartment, you have a faction to pick… or neither. After picking the faction and that conversation, the text says you need to complete objectives and be level 35. The quest itself, in the menu, says level 40 and mechanically is level 40, so the pop-up text needs to be updated.
-
At the farm, if you recruit the Cowgirl side character now and not phase 1, her level up text plays like 15 times until she’s at new base level. I think. I didn’t count, just held enter until it stopped. I thought it was a soft-lock at first. I don’t know if it’s easier or harder to make a phase 2 version of this character, or just run a script to change her level, so you don’t have to run the “grant experience” script in phase 2.
-
Jamie’s side-quest for Mike: Three issues.
-
- The door to the room where Mike is “closes” via the event “turning to the character” when you hit the action key to enter. Only one that does this in the school. You obviously still transition into the room, it’s just odd.
-
- During the boss fight with the teacher Jamie’s about to vore, her battle sprite (or maybe just the image for said sprite) sits WAY too low on the screen. To the point you have to use Kui’s Snitch ability to get a good view.
.

-
- After getting “Mike” as a key item, you really need confirmation text he’ll be permanently consumed if you get the action key / mouse button again. Just to help avoid an accident. Also needs text saying what happened on-use, currently just closes the menu, changes Jamie’s stats and nothing else. (Edit: Apparently the “Mike” item is consumed no matter what you do, even if you unlock the option to eat him and denied because Jamie’s not fat enough. His sprite, and the item, are just gone. No option to reset him either.
-
Quest “Recruiting Polly”: As you know, you can only recruit Polly if you recruited Nanette. Two issues come up with this quest, however.
-
- You can pre-emptively complete the quest LONG before she offers it to you by simply going into the building the wedding is at (even accidentally, because you have to talk to Polly before you can leave). It plays out like you got the cheap shit, too. After talking to her, and the event plays out, the quest is marked as complete, and Polly is recruitable. Polly is still in the bakery with the quest available for when Nanette hits level 35. If you “accept” the quest at this stage, and finish it (whether via the 2nd bug below, or normally) you got to a black screen, the conversation happens where Polly is fired and… the black screen stays. Since, you know, we broke the quest before she even gave it to us. So it’s a soft-lock, changing screens or going to the menu etc doesn’t fix it, and you can’t see anything due to said black screen.
-
- When you do accept the quest, whether you got the ingredients or not, if you hit the Esc key, it chooses the invisible “suspicious” ingredients, even if you don’t have them, and progresses the quest based off that. Esc key needs to default to the “Never mind” option so this doesn’t happen.
-
When Polly levels, Gwen’s portrait is often displayed instead. I know it’s leftover from her originally being planned to be recruitable, just an FYI that it’s her face instead of Polly’s.
-
Ming’s confrontation at the bus office: After she eats her bosses, the 3 events are still there just the characters they had are now invisible… so you can’t walk past them to the room behind her. Assuming anything’s there.
-
Doing Priya’s side-quest for Susan:
-
- There’s an NPC with a tie that makes Priya’s bloated sprite, along with the top-half of Susan’s head visible if you interact with it. It doesn’t break anything but it’s weird. Still there on the 2nd half of the quest.
-
- After she ate the cop: A soft lock happens if you talk to Susan before Priya, since talking to Susan makes both of them disappear, but you can’t leave because you didn’t talk to Priya yet. The NPC in a suit is still here, too, but he does not make her sprite visible again.
-
Outside the Ham, where you can first get introduced to Sheila: One of the prisoner’s sprite (lower right) turns from white to black after talking to her for some reason??
-
Outside the Ham: The events making the car is “above the character” so you can walk right through it. If you need them to be so, though this is assuming you didn’t already know, they can be changed to “change to above character” in the movement scripts that make the car visibly drive off. Easy fix, if you do want to fix it.
-
Putnam Academy: This guard is here after you give Carmen the key to unlock the cafeteria. No interaction, or anything, just shows up. Being fat AF.
. -
Putnam Academy: It would be nice to have some flavor text for the students supposedly confronting the guards. Or whatever it is, as their presence otherwise guides you to the student council room to talk to Priya.
In Phase 3:
-
Outside the Ham: Only did the cult so far, but the cultist is there after you first run into her, and replays the event if you talk to her again later as if it’s the first time. Could we maybe tweak it so she helps you get to the temple quickly before fast travel is unlocked?
-
Bus stops as noted, if you have Ming, don’t work despite her recruiting text saying otherwise.Edit: nevermind, I saw how fast travel was implemented. -
Bus Office: You can go into the office and interact with the computer, etc, to do the quest for recovering footage. Before you get said quest.
-
The Ham Prison: None of the benches give you scrap metal. If it’s supposed to be one of the benches in the visibly enclosed areas on the 2nd floor, it’s not clear how to get to them since… well, they’re enclosed.
-
The Ham Prison: Bertha’s on-screen sprite in the cafeteria is set to “above character” and thus able to be walked through. She also disappears after the fight, and you have to leave the room and come back to talk to her again.
I think that’s it so far. Anyway, great work on the game, really enjoying myself!
Edit: forgot a few things.
Edit 2/27: Updated and removed a couple items.
So, regarding some of the things you’ve pointed out:
Pryia actually has a favorite candy, it’s the caramel bar
being moved back to the apartment complex after completing bella’s quest is intended cause in the canon vore Quest she needs time to digest, so by the time you get back she’s digested her prey
bus stops don’t work in phase 3, it doesn’t matter if you’ve recruited or not recruited Ming, sadly they never work no matter what
you can actually get the sharp metal from the benches in the Ham, it seems it’s a guaranteed drop from the last bench after you checked all of them. There’s many benches in the area to the left of your cell and a single one in the area to the right, be sure to check them all
if Bertha was devoured by Phoebe during the Phoebe recruitment’s Quests (the one without rumia in your party) she doesn’t appear in the ham
Hope this may help pal
did you ever find the soda im having trouble finding it
How to unlock Phoebe? I have no idea what I need to get to her children.
Got more!
Okay but where's my burger?
Non-phase specific.
- Many (most?) FP items don’t do anything in the field, despite offering fullness outside of battle. Many are greyed out when not in battle, too. Lemme just stuff their faces, pretty please!
- The Shareable food items only heal, they don’t provide fullness.
In Phase 3:
- Optional quest to recruit members, text mentioning the Bulshinka sisters gets cut off on the first line.
- Cultists ask for $7000, but the purple dude only takes $3000.
- For the multiple quests to choose from, besides the optional 3, it says choosing one will lock the others. But completed a selected quest “will unlock you.” That last phrase doesn’t make sense.
- If you recruit the Fat Fairy, she joins your party regardless if you hit the max party limit. Unless that’s intentional, because I love it XD
- If you recruit the Fat Fairy, and go back to your room in the Fat Temple, the Order option in the menu is disabled until you go back to the penthouse and leave, since that method unlocks it again.
- For the “Contact” quest, which requires Rumia to not be in your party and not eaten by Rachel, you can’t leave the upper floor where your old apartment was, before she eats the pred you run into, nor can you after you finished the quest.
- For the same “Contact” quest, you can move while Rumia goes into the rooms to eat. Which means you can leave, and possibly break the quest.
- The obsolete book with game mechanics is in Phase 3 as well, if you get access to Kui’s apartment again via the “Contact” quest
How to recruit Susan?
