This is my most recent mod and i almost forgot about sharing it here. Is none other than D’arce from Fear & Hunger , but fat.
Originally, it was being worked by the user roxas617 on Deviantart, but he never finished. however, he left the assets of it so others could continue it and i decided to give it a try. The original one is here.
The mod currently contains most of the overworld sprites of D’arce, the menu images and all of the battle animations. I’m working on the rest of the stuff (such as the Dungeon nights content) and i also want to add a version compatible with the censored mods. In the future i want to do mods like this for the Termina characters.
It’s quite easy. After you download the mod, you have to extract it and you’ll have a folder named “www”. You have to drop that folder where the game is installed (by that, i mean where the game’s executable is). This will replace the files of the game, so i recommend doing a backup of the files before installing if you want to go back to a vanilla state later or you’ll have to reinstall the game.
Excuse me, I have a question about this mod. What changes would it make? Is it to get an idea if it is compatible with a Spanish mod of Fear & Hunger? And apart from that, does it only change the warrior? Not the other characters? And does it come with its complete change or does it have a new weight gain mechanic?
The mod changes D’arce (the knight character) into a fat version of herself, changing stuff such as her overworld sprite, her combat sprite and more. It should be compatible with translations mods since this only changes images and sprites. No other characters have been changed and no new mechanics have been added because on one part it would take a lot of time to do (and this project took me quite a lot since i was learning how to do this as i went on) and second because i don’t know how. I tried to ask here if it would be possible or what would i need to do that but i never got an answer.
I hope i could answer your questions. I’m about to release a new update of the mod soon with more stuff, so stay tuned.
New update has been released, this includes the enemy version of D’arce, her S ending and more.
This took a lot to do and i’m really tired for the moment. There is still some stuff that i didn’t change because some stuff i don’t like or pretty much i find it unnecessary ( such as the unique death scenes). But the mod in it’s current state is completely fine to play the full game without issues. I thought about doing a censored version or adding more stuff but i really want to move on to the next project, however, that doesn’t mean i won’t come back and revisit this mod and polished it. I said i’m interesting also in doing something similiar for Termina, despite it will take even more time since the characters in that game have more sprites and even more complex to do than in this game.
I really appreciated the amount of interest this mod has garnered and quite frankly, i’m really happy that people liked it and played it. It has motivated me to keep doing more stuff and still wanting to improve. I always ask for feedback so that i can learn from it and learn from the mistakes i made. Thanks and see you soon.

If what you say is true, then that’s super cool. I hope they can do great job, even better than me. Fear and hunger is a fun game and mods like these can make it even more fun to play and enjoy.
That’s true, on the Bluesky account the artist show his progress but he haven’t been posting both X and B-sky accounts so we’ll just have to see and wait
