Had an idea during Gain Jam 2024 that I ran out of time to execute. But recently, I was playing some of the Minecraft vore mod, PCraft Revorn, and the Piglin Royal reminded me of my idea and made me want to kick it around a little more. Not sure if I’ll actually make it, but wanted to share.
It’s a short 2.5d cinematic horror game inspired by stuff like ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and ‘Hellraiser’. You play as a woman who has resurrected her girlfriend using a necronomicon but it makes her ravenously hungry as she heals. You feed her everything you have but she’s insatiable despite growing larger. You can break into your neighbors’ apartments and loot their pantries and fridges to carry back to her, but eventually, the only thing that will satisfy her is the flesh of your neighbors who you must butcher and feed to her as she grows larger and larger.
Would be a heavily atmospheric, but lo-fi-3d-graphic experience that emphasizes the grim humor of the horror vibes. Generally linear but not totally scripted. I’d love an actual stealth system but that was something I struggled with in my last game idea I showed here so might just stick to having neighbors you can always sneak up on because they’re distracted.
Curious if anyone is interested in something like or if you have any ideas or questions. Some enthusiasm might get me excited enough to actually make something.
