Feeder Fantasy by Fallboy

I have found a few bugs: 1st the dojo lady has the wrong face picture file when you don’t find her during the first hide n seek. Karen also has the wrong file name for her face picture when you look at her. Lastly, I ended up opening it in rpgmaker, and fixed both of those bugs, but noticed that when you don’t find dojo lady she says, “Oh damnit, you caught me!” “Let’s do this again!” which is bullshit because I didn’t catch her lmao. Last, I found a bug where feeding the goblins giant steaks skips the first stage every time after the first time, giant pizza skips the second stage.

The only actual gripe I have is the nuns not reminding you what food to bring them. I smoke a lot of pot, have adhd, and don’t have the greatest memory. Other than that the game is fantastic, the dialogue is great, and it hits all the right notes for me.

Work on both sides of this project has been amazing. Do you think more MC stuff could be added in, Kitsune? It’s been quite enjoyable so far.

I just wanted to echo what people are saying, this is great. Thank you for the translation, because the real strength of the game is how good the description and dialogue is as everyone gets fatter.

The dialogue being so good in combination with the Main character referencing she might get stuck in the door as she gets closer to her heaviest made me wonder how fast I could learn RPGMaker so I could add an NPC to actually widen the door for you. That way instead of just the two endings from fattening yourself up, there would be a third where you leave your house as a blob and waddle over to the restaurant one more time, getting reactions to how massive you’ve become along the way.

huh so level stops at 99?

Yeah, that’s the standard maximum level for RPG Maker.

As far as I can tell, that seems to be the limit of those who react.

Wait, what? I feel like I missed something rather important here. I eventually had the Goblin move into my place, but I was never given a chance to feed her after that. I’m not actually sure what her max weight is, though she was immobile around the time the PC was too big for the door.

And for our author, I’ve run into a couple of small bugs. Namely, I can’t even start Karen the Drunk’s route, as the game constantly freezes and gives a “Retry This” error that I believe I saw referenced above. I had the same sort of thing with the dojo master where, during her “Come find me” quest, the game did the same thing: a blank dialogue box, a code error, and a “retry” button.

Also, for some reason, the Hero resets to be thinner the day after I use the fattening drugs on her. Not as big a deal, as I can just use them on her again, but it is a little silly they describe her as too fat to get out of bed, and her sprite is significantly smaller then me.

All that said, this was an extremely well put together RPG Maker game.

Sorry, I had meant visiting the goblin while the PC was at high weight. The goblin has different reactions each time you show up depending on the PCs current weight.

Hmm. Were they different then her reactions to the PC’s weight in the house, do you know? I avoided gaining weight in my current playthrough, as the dungeon frustrated me after I got too big to avoid any traps or dodge the goblin attacks.

well I had a sudden crash. lost all my data. damn it know I am back to level 1

so I just got the most basic weight loss item. after fattening the fairy shopkeep. Is it a one time use or can I use it many times?

I get error when every I look at the body of the drunk warrior. just after the Washboard comment the it just gives a empty text box I can’t get rid of
only affects the starting text once she gets some weight its not a problem

Same error I got in the game

The goblin has a different reaction to the PCs weight for each weight of the goblin. Like here is the goblin when the PC is at the barely mobile weight and after you have fed the goblin once. I appreciate that Kitsune took the time to give a response for every stage.

That is a crazy amount of detail. Getting through the dungeon must be such a pain in arse at that size, lol.

though I did find something that slipped through. the rest text never changes no matter the goblins weight. or even having her their. yes I just did the invite bit and opted to rest at the fire and it still said the goblin glared at me

I wish we got more from beating a foe in the dungeon then just level. I mean after level 99 its just a waste of time. and maybe the option to ignore the camp fire room?

Right, I should probably mention this again: I’m currently working on adding a lot of stuff and reworking some things as well, though that’s going to take quite some time, so I sadly can’t say when it’s done. I also need to take a bit of a break right now as I’ve worked on this for over a month and have to do some important things RL.

The current to do list looks something like this:
  • Have adaptive self-weight dialog display at higher weight stages on more NPCs (30% done)
  • Create full dungeon maps with NPC encounters and events (80% done)
  • Overhaul combat to make feeding better (40% done)
  • Add equipment and potions, rework food to heal as well (30% done)
  • Draw combat pictures for enemies (goblin, orc)
  • Add second Main Character (Succubus) as a replacement for Feeder Elf (10% done)
  • Have Guard(s) react to Captain Weight (0% done)
  • Have more Guards and add stages for them (10% done)
  • Fill houses/redo some parts of the city to be less square-like (15% done)
  • Fatten Smith (0% done)
  • Put Goblin in MC endings (0% done)
  • Make Ending for Everyone Fat (0% done)
  • Make Ending depending on other recruited characters (0% done)
  • Make events for orc and succubus character
  • Draw Maya & Rize Blob for Escape End (0% done)
  • Make alternative ending with Feeder Elf out of town (0% done)
  • Rework mobile blob (MC too fat stage) Sprite (100% done)
  • Rework Feeder Elf content to only do some stuff to NPC and have second MC do active Feeder stuff (5% done)
  • Write Bar event for Stage 9 to 16, Customers gave both more orders, pull into 11-16 from 2 guys event, involve Elf (5% done)

Which is a lot since it involves quite a lot of writing content that has to be added. Again, I’m currently taking a break, probably for a week or two. After that I should have most RL stuff solved and be rested enough to write again.

In the meantime, if anyone’s got requests or things they like to see that’s not included in the list above please just post it here.

Also, I should probably explain how I changed the dungeon system.

Dungeon Screenshot & Explanation

This shows it pretty well I think. It’s currently five maps of varying sizes, one small, three medium and one large, of which the exits lead to a random exit in the corresponding direction on any other map. Not all maps have all types of directions available. Basically walk left and you will land on another map’s rightmost exit.

All maps have several dozen events placed inside that each have a 10% chance to actually spawn that event, otherwise it get’s deleted. Which means each visit to a map should have a new variation of where traps (which are invisible and got balanced a bit better), treasure chests and enemies are placed.

Enemies will try to reach the player if they’re close enough and initiate combat on contact. Combat itself is still work in progress and thus get’s no images.

It works like this: You can of course simply kill all enemies, but that’s boring. The other option is to stuff them. To that end you have to feed them food. The larger the food the less you need to feed them until they’re to stuffed to be a treat, which would be your goal. To that end Goblins are supposed to have three stages, while Orcs will get either 3, 4 or 5. I haven’t decided that one yet since I still have to draw the images for them, which would be a lot of work.

Another addition is the more you feed them overall, the higher the weight (visible on the map sprites and combat images) will be. Which means even more images to draw which is going to take even more time. Especially since my tablet broke recently.

To that end I’ll also add some equipment and potions to be bought in the shops. I’ll also add a healing effect to each food item so you can use them to heal as well. To that end I’ve made it so that each step inside the dungeon reduces your weight by some amount, going into effect after sleeping in your bed.

And lastly a small poll. Currently the MC get’s slower the more weight she gains, which is fine for story reasons and some realism, but it negatively impacts player experience as getting from place to place takes a lot longer.

Should the Movement Speed down on Weight Up be removed?

hey quick question to two shopkeepers you can fatten. I get a message that they are so fat the food won’t add much. does that mean they can’t get fatter or it just takes a lot more to do so?

That’s the limit to how fat they get.

ah ok thanks then I won’t waste anymore food on them. the only girl I still need to fatten is the martal arts but since she need my character to be fat I saved her for last
