It’s time to update everything that is going on with my game! Currently, the game has moved over to renpy since I have found some amazing packages that will help me develop my story and make a nice character creator.
Alright so here’s the current summary of what the game is going to be all about. You will create your own character who will be starting his first day on the job as a fry cook/cashier at your local Fat Burger. When you head out to the dumpster to throw out the trash you find the gluttony idol. This idol contains an ancient gluttony demon named Gordon. This demon will start effect you and the people around you to gain power through gluttonous deeds. As the game progress you will be able to overeat, gain weight, and eventually become immobile if you let Gordon win! There will be multiple story lines depending on how you play such as corrupting just those around you!
Without further ado let’s talk about core gameplay plans!

→ Get to have small changes you can do to the actual race itself! Example (wings/no wings)
→ Primary/Secondary Color to the body!
→ Same color eyes or different color eyes!
→ Hair color too!
Weight system! Going from underweight to immobile blob!
A job that will change overtime due to events in the game!
Different type of fullness sprites!
Being able to corrupt NPCs and people around you as the game progress!
Skills/Perks that will unlock based on what type of gluttonous deed that has been committed!

Here is a reference concept art of the character before I make official sprites of him.
So here is a drawing of the gluttony Idol you will find in the intro. This was legit my first time drawing anything this big. Like I never drew blobs before. Anyways more updates will come eventually.
I moved to project tag since I am going through with development. It may take time since I am doing the art assets, writing, and programming myself. I do plan it to be more art-orientated since I like visual-based games more than text-based games.
I am currently making the custom character creator. I am trying to make a dynamic creator so that when displaying characters you can choose custom heads, mouths, hair types, colors, etc.
Here is my test program for getting the custom color pallet working. I will have a primary color and a secondary color the player can choose.
Could the player maybe have a choice of still being able to move, even is they are the size of immobile?
Maybe that could be another way of breaking the curse?
Finding something, or someone, that will aid in defeating or maybe even using the demon to the player’s advantage?
Also maybe the idea of ‘indulge yourself’ could be that the player enjoys both getting fatter, making others fatter and being fed by others?
So to be considered immobile you need to get past 1k lbs. Which is basically just allowing yourself to eat that much and not progressing in a way to break the curse. There will be multiple ways to break the curse, resulting in some differences in the ending. Okay I want to describe the other endings without giving it away but the plan is that yes you could tempt the demon or even make others fatter
Okay so I got the color pick tool to work mostly. The color is never going to be exact, unfortunately. I took a couple of days to find a way to get this to work and to be honest, I think is going to be the best I can get.
