yeah for males in Dragon’s Dogma, it’s fat, while for females it’s thiccness. I lvoe the game but I wish there were fat options for chicks too
I don’t think any other game has that but Saint Row. It’s mostly due to the technical issues that come with clothes and fat character models. One reason I read was that large body parts like a gut will clip through whatever your character’s wearing - unless you were maybe to have the clothes’ models also expand. It probably wouldn’t be a problem if you were to select fixed body types, but then you would lose the freedom and control offered by sliders.
Oh yeah, I just remembered about Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection. It’s a neat little jrpg but the levelling system isn’t grinding, but eating. You get stronger the more weight you gain, and it’s actually a selling point for the game.
Are you sure you’re talking about Dragon’s Dogma? Because you can absolutely make some proper fat ladies in that character creator. The weight slider is one thing, but beyond that you can select different body types for the torso, arms, and legs – choosing bulkier versions of those definitely makes your character bigger, male or female.
If there’s a Hall or Guild of Heroes, your application will surely be accepted without question!
I watched a review, but apparently you can only play as a male protagonist in the second game (I tried looking up the first, and there are 2 protagonists, but their genders aren’t specified, and their names aren’t exactly a dead giveaway…) so I’m really not interested in it, personally. Females only for me, but thanks anyway.
Fable 2 has some weight gain for males and females, but it’s a bit rough for my liking
I’m not really a fan of how Peter Molyneux shoe horned his own politics into it, either. Drink beer, or consume anything made of meat, you get really fat, really fast. Eating fish lowers your purity, as does eating Crunchy Chicks, though at least the latter makes some sense. You can run from one end of Albion to the other, and you’ll still be a slow, plodding fat ass.
The only way to lose weight? Eat celery. Tofu, if I recall correctly, only effects your purity for the positive. Subtle, Peter. Really subtle.
Huh. Never really got into the Fable games, for one reason or another, though I may check 2 out just to see a slow, plodding beauty running the length of a country!
As annoying as that probably gets, I find it funny how much that particular message backfired, considering people are talking about it here.
You play as both of them. The genders are specified, and you can even see pictures of them. Hell, it’s even mentioned in the first paragraph of the steam store page.
I thought both games have you elternate between two characters of different genders
Thanks to all who replied. Good to know. I might play it, but I don’t know if I’ll end up doing the Cross-Albion marathon…The capture card I was considering getting costs a couple hundred bucks, American. I’m not made of money, and I’m not that altruistic. Sorry. (Not asking for handouts, just saying. If my ship comes in, I’ll happily contribute to the betterment of our society)
Dragons dogma 2 just released character creation, made a male fat bastard, you could make some chonkers with the options
The female characters look pretty bad though. Just the typical oddly wide look that looks like skinny character stretched out that you find in a lot of character creators
ChimeraLand is great if you are able to keep the proportions in check. Plus, with multiple different species, there’s something for everyone in ChimeraLand. Unfortunately, you’re too late for the US version, since it’s no longer available to download, so if you want to play it, you gotta seek out the Chinese version.
Hey gonna see if we can keep this thread alive, how about some games that work for some potato laptops? games that are easy to pirate or emulate? My first choice of course is haydee, saints row 2 and risk of rain 2
This thread is more about games that allow to create a fat character, and most importantly , don’t talk about pirating because it would look that you are promoting piracy (and that can cause issues or garner the wrong attention to this site).
fair enough, but there is still merit to modded games that do have the fat character creation capability, like the sims 3 or 4
Gonna throw out there Dragon Age: Veilguard has implemented the Saints Row triangle (sadly not the Saints Row 2, that remains unrivalled) and the ‘fat’ corner is surprisingly hefty for a major game.
