Izzy (the imp) gives some hints as to how to do various mechanics across the farm! As for the feeding minigame, your main goal is to connect 3 or more of the same pieces to break them and clear up the cow’s fullness. The higher the number that you match, the more Fullness it removes so you can keep feeding them ![]()
Is it tagged mac? I… don’t believe it is.
Unfortunately it’s Windows only for now, but I would love to make alternative versions once the game is further in development.
First time leaving a genuine review on a game here;
First of all, brilliant sprite work. I’ve had my eye on this project for a while so it’s nice to finally get my hands on a demo. From what I’ve seen so far, it’s got a brilliant gameplay loop and I found myself hooked to see how else I could increase my profits, watching the NPC’s get larger in the meantime is just an added bonus.
I love Sky’s design, I wonder what else is in store for her. Are there more weight stages in the premium versions? That might tip the scales for me to cave in and buy the premium versions.
My only “complaint” would be that I’m not a too big fan of outie belly buttons, they genuinely put me off but that’s a personal view that I couldn’t possibly write off as a negative feature, just not my cup of tea. Would be worth every cent in the full release if there was a toggle option.
Keep up the good work!
Really appreciate the feedback, Mark!|
So far, Sky has the same weight stages in the latest build, but at least one more nearly-immobile size is planned for her, as well as immobile stages.
As for the outie belly buttons, totally fair! It’s something that varies between each character. Some characters (like June) don’t have it regardless of their stage.
Unfortunately it’s something that would be really tough to make a toggle, since it would require a complete resprite of every single animated sprite for the character just to disable it.
Got to play a bit more of it now. No crashes after that one; I hope its an easy fix, wish I could help more but not too sure what i did to trigger it, maybe clicking the dryad too quick or mid growth stage or something? Not too sure.
But yeah after playing more its been great! Got a little stuck with funds for a bit but realised I should been selling more milk over just plants flowers. Another thing to shout out, the dynamic text with the belches and stuff is super neat! ![]()
Oh cool! Keen to see what mechanics for that will be there, so going to include some more side scrolling adventuring sorta stuff? (& hopfully at least a few friendly Minotaurs to feed out there~)
I thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo! Your sprite-work overall is wonderfully expressive, particularly the head shots alongside the dialogue panels. Your SFX choices and implementation are numerous and effective, making game-play all the more engaging; I specifically enjoy having aural feedback on player input, little things like clicking on various objects/materials as well as, of course, the more obvious interactions. I very much appreciate your attention to, and inclusion of, details, from changes in character appearance, movement, and dialogue over varying stages to the way the screen (and UI!) shakes during Sky’s weighty jumps, among many others.
I was curious to see if there was a weight stage at which Sky, through willpower and lust for ill-gotten gains (of the pecuniary kind, of course!), would roll herself about as she does an immobile Mocha to keep herself mobile, but the demo did not cover that far from what I could tell. I am sure whatever you have in mind will be entertaining!
In the course of playing the only error I encountered was a crash that occurred while having Sky eat food in the front room of the farmhouse. I don’t recall the exact circumstances that triggered that. I will try to reproduce on another play-through.
Additionally I will send you a DM regarding what I think might be an exploit.
I don’t know your disposition regarding unsolicited suggestions but silly me is going to do it anyway! Having only seen and read about your project here I don’t know the scope you intend for this game and whether this would go against your setting or even be character-breaking but I had one idea vis-à-vis player (Sky) weight gain. Candace, perhaps at a certain affection level, could offer to pay Sky for taste-testing at her bakery. This could be a mini-game wherein Sky struggles to keep up with/stomach Candace’s eager, and relentless, kitchen output. This could serve as a way to earn more coin quickly at the “risk” of Sky’s waistline. This could be an additional means of increasing Candace’s affection for Sky, maybe tied to the mini-game result were there to be one. I also think it would be an amusing role reversal!
Having said all that, I am grateful you provided a demo for us to try. I hope the ongoing development is successful and satisfying! I look forward to the full release!
Thanks, I really forgot to check the hints form Izzy.
how to sell milk and other thing?
The blue troll mage, S’apphire, that sells the potions of bovinity is a vendor. Interact with her and right click on what you want to sell to her. Also holding shift will change the amount you sell by ten instead of a single item.
is that full version or demo one?
UNRELATED
when trying to edit my message yesterday it kept telling me there was an issue so here is the rest of my thoughts
so for the demo does mocha represent more than one potion?
also would be nice to be able to hire more little demons to help run the farm and automate it some
maybe options to change what body type a character is?
also the store is kind of a clicker right now when selling things like i dont know 600 plant fiber itd be nice to be able to just drag and drop it into the store
what does the affection bar actually do for the dryads?
also thought i mentioned it but thanks for the heads up about the portrait toggle however I personally would prefer the sprites be human and with no clue how many potion bovinity mocha had well its hard to gauge me personally horns are the limit once the face is redone hooves and tail are there its over any ways im ggoing to buy it since its done so well in the first place
iirc if you hold shift it sells in bulks of 10, and I think shift+something else (or just something else) it does the whole stack?
My money for body type is that it’s pre-determined since it’d be a lot of sprites to change to set up a new body type for a specific character.
Dryad affection helps speed up them getting bigger, iirc?
In the full game:
1 Potion = Horns, Tail, Ears
2 Potions = Basically fully cow
So in the demo, Mocha starts off at 1 potion status.
((the demon idea is good, probably best for when there’s a BUNCH of cows and the player wants to make Sky fat as heck))
Cheers for the feedback Smuttley!
The Candace idea is actually a really fun one! And I don’t mind suggestions at all! Obviously I can’t promise I’d include EVERYTHING folks suggest, but I do keep a list! ![]()
Right now Sky’s current max size is what it is in the full version as well, but more sizes ARE planned!
Smh Krodmandoon spreading misinformation
LOL
In all seriousness though S’apphire is only available in the full version, but that being said you can sell any items to ANY vendors, so Candace or June work just the same to make gold with! ![]()
Parnash answered a lot of this below but:
- Yep, Mocha is at one potion! After 2, it’s basically full anthro character.
- Automation is actually planned for later down the line!
- Body types don’t change since like Parnash said that would be HUNDREDS of unique, animated sprites to remake per body type. It just isn’t feasible with the amount of states and transformations in the game.
- Ctrl+Shift+Click will sell mass stacks

- Affection makes the dryads grow faster and able to be harvested more often!
- Aside from the portrait toggle, there’s no other methods to send the sprites back to full human. The girls only have sprites for half-cow and full-cow mode. A human version isn’t really in the files I’m afraid.
After being introduced to the world and given my quest, I immediately decided to ignore it. For the first 2 days, I scurried around the town like a rat. Dropping to my knees and ripping every flower, fungus and weed that sprouted out of the ground. Selling my dirty garbage to the bartender while sleeping in other people’s beds.
After I was done homelessmaxing, I decided to actually follow the story, turn Mocha into a cow and start my farm. After growing 20 dryads I realized I couldn’t possibly water, harvest and pleasure them all fast enough. So I decided to take inspiration from the Soviet Union’s 5 year plans. I completely neglected them, then executed them after they failed to meet my arbitrary production quotas. This resulted in a series of crop failures that threatened the Valley.
How did I come up with these quotas? It’s not really clear. I usually do the math after drinking myself into a stupor at the tavern while gambling my entire life savings against some fairies. In fact, I spent the next 15 days gambling at the tavern with no sleep. Fuck off Mocha, there’s a new blue haired violent alcholic in town, and she’s at least 40% more lesbian then you.
I use the reminder of my pocket change to buy fast food then stumble into my barn with one hand firmly in my panties. I make sure to only feed my cows cheeseburgers to remind them what I could do to them if they displease me. When I’m not drinking, gambling or sexually harassing people, I’m usually using the obese fairies I won as dodge balls against the dryads who can’t move. The stupid imp who follows me around is typically very supportive of my actions, but I’m starting to suspect she’s just a figment of my imagination…
Anyway!
I had been a fan of Dandy’s for a long time now, but I had never really given this game much thought. I guess I was just waiting to see what it would materialize into, as being a solo game dev is a lot of work, and ultimately, many don’t (or can’t) invest enough time and energy into a kink game from scratch without eventually sputtering out. But when I saw they had made a free demo, I decided to give it a try. And after an hour I had already signed up to Dandy’s Patreon to support their work. This game has no business being as gorgeous as it is, and there’s so much potential, it makes me worried Dandy might burn themself out. If time is what it takes to further this game, take all the time you need. I’m in love with everything from the art, to the sound design, character design, writing, setting, mechanics, and more.
This game can expand in any number of directions. The town, the characters, new crops, new livestock options, crafting, mining, and exploration. Considering you’re in a valley populated by monsters, I’m especially curious to see how Dandy would implement a combat system and how they would make it kinky. I don’t really like comparing art forms, obviously Dandy got inspiration from Stardew Valley, but this game also kinda reminds me of Kingdom: Classic, and I think both games are an example of where to expand mechanics into. Long story short, I love this game and I’m excited to see where it goes!
I really like it, but my progress is never saved, even when i manually saved. Has this occured to anyone else? May i know where the savefiles are located?
Encountered a bug where the game crashed after talking to the dryad. It didn’t happen the first time, so I have no idea what triggered it.
On another play of the demo I did encounter a few errors. Details are below, @Dandy_Chest .
The above occurred when selecting Chat with a Wheat Dryad while it was in a stuffed state. This might be similar to/same as what Kit-sun reported.
The above occurred in the middle of a Mocha dialogue without player input: it just popped up while Mocha’s text was rolling.
The next one is an animation bug that, without an error report (and my inability to capture it in a screenshot), needs some explaining. After selecting, and completing, the Pleasure action with a dryad, Sky’s walking animation stops working. Sky gets frozen in the first walking frame. You can still move her about without issue but she just…slides. This error occurred only at Sky’s second and third weight stages, not her first. This bug persists while moving between areas such as into/out of the barn and farmhouse. Some actions, such as sprinting or using Harvest on another dryad, do seem to remedy this and resets Sky’s walking frames. What I can show you is this:
After triggering the aforementioned Pleasure bug, you can have Sky jump and she gets stuck in her falling/landing frame on the ground. Moving laterally returns her to her sliding walk. Furthermore I must relate this: doing this jump-and-land while Sky is at her third weight stage will produce an endless earthquake of screen-shaking until you move her.
Can someone give me some pointers on how to start this game? I got broke trying to stuff Mocha silly with chocolate cake and failed the milking minigame.
