Hefty Harvest (Fat Cat Walkthrough Nov 27th!!)

Introducing my new game. A new 3D RPG weight gain adventure.

It will include minigames, as well as a 3D environment where the player can explore.

Hefty Harvest is a cross between a dating sim/job sim and has a fun story along the way.

It will be a progressive game (releasing by updates) to ensure gameplay, player suggestion and to keep the game paid for. Here is a link to the Patreon. The first 3 detrimental polls are up! You can join for free or help me out to buy that good software. Just remember the games first patch will 100% be free upon release!

For now it is a (male or female protagonist with female weight gain) i am open to male gaining, nonbinary or trans characters in the future; but for now we’ll keep it simple as a base.

You play as _____ a chef from the big city. Though something strange is going on, and you’re forced out of your comfy lifestyle and fired. A family member offers you a place to stay in a smaller town near by. But man is that place a dump. But you can create a pretty big name in a small town like this. There’s a lot of new people, and a lot of opportunity.

Im solo developing this game in Unreal Engine 5, so updates will take a bit; but ill keep up to date the best i can. And i’ll be reading player feedback, suggestions and questions. I know its important to keep the fanbase informed.

This is not a VN but around patch 3-4 i will make this game accessible in a VN format specifically for the Android and IOS, it wont have the silly minigames and may lack some cutscenes (size) but images will be fully rendered and you’ll still be able to focus your path.

And my first sneak peak (members get a a much better look)

now THIS is the type of project I like to see, creativity, charm, and a hint of intrigue, what more could a person want? (besides the obvious wg aspects you said would be here already) I will be looking forward to your progress and also just as an aside, when it comes to the type of world it will be set in, what kind of world will it be? (ie. modern, fantasy, sci-fi, furry, etc.) because that will definitely impact the types of characters you can put in the game.

looking forward to progress,

It will be a modern for now. I use to be a Dungeon Master, and have plans to have a DnD like minigame (support your local gamestore!) where ill be able to mix a bit of old fantasy, starship scifi etc; depending on the demand. Itll probably feature some of the same characters just altered for the campaign and some new ones. But im open to all sorts of shananigans.

i’d personally love to see that, maybe having certain characters have a completely different race (ie. Tiefling for fantasy or alien for sci-fi)

Oh for sure. Originally i was going to make it like warlocks and wizards; but i think ill do it as “DLC” like thing an additive patch.

Im going to have a comicshop in the game with different idea posters, see what concepts people like, and ill branch it accordingly. Im a big fan of fan service

also if you want to delve into less realistic things, you could have npc’s from the ttrpg “cross over” into the “real” world

Ya i could dig that. For now im going to keep it normal, but I’ll be sharing polls on a patreon (polls will absolutely be free) and the first patch definitely free… gotta make sure people enjoy it first ya know?

But to help support the development, cause there are a lot more tools that need to be purchased, ill be having a Patreon with a subscription. And ill do the “if youve been a patreon for so long, you get a free game” cause duh :joy:

true, i would also recommend using the “project help” category on here to get people to help with things like coding

Oh I’m actually a seasoned vet. I currently run a studio, and ive worked on a couple AAAs but im keeping them separate from this endeavor.

But I’ll be alright solo for this. Its been a long time coming, and i figure why not now right?

makes sense, but if you need help with character design or writing you can hit me up about it and i’ll do my best(not a good artist but Im a pretty good writer)

Is it bad to say I get Persona vibes from this?

YES YES YES!!!

I’ve been awaiting for a game like this, not many people make a lot of 3d games and just stick to 2d pixel art in rpg-gamemaker or pokemon essentials, a bit of fresh air for much needed 3d games. Also will you include the ability to look down at yourself from the protagonist pov? also what body shape will be added for the female protag? is it gonna be customizable? or a preset?

So im going to start with a preset for the first patch. I do plan on fully customizing your avatar in the future though. Where you get to build your own protagonist.

So im thinking custom protagonist + body distribution (all round, top, bottom, middle, hourglass) and if you want “real weight or fantasy weight”

My wife is a feeder, so eventually i want to give the option of (male female cast switching) down the road, but the first big change will be able to fatten up the protagonist aswell. Maybe like a feeder/feedee path.

Oh and the protagonist will have a 3D 3rd person view. And ill put up a mirror for “inspection purposes” and atleast the 1st set of minigames will be pov. Ive got an idea for (1st person food service, waiting, delivery) kinda so you know you’re in a minigame.

But ill be adding different minigames depending on the job. (Golfing, moving, animal safety, lab assistant, etc)

Idk lol, it wont be like turn based fighting or anything like that. Maybe at the comic shop, but possibilities i suppose.

Id think like an indepth sims, except you have full control of your protagonist and no obnoxious survival mechanics

The patreon is up!!!

There is a public for free

Chubby Kitten $1: art and special polls and development behidn the scenes

Fat Cat $5: early release of patches 30days in advance, fat chicks, polls, behind the scenes, and whatever cool stuff i can throw

The first patch will be free upon release for both tiers. But from then it will be a 30day difference.

The money helps development wise. CC4 + Blender, render software, all those bells and whistles. Id love to be able to do this fulltime.

Btw get out and vote!!!

Ive got 3 polls free for all to get this game started!

I wanted to thank you guys for the polls and the memberships!

I’ve wanted to do this project for so long, and im going to make it a banger.

But along with player suggestion i want to be upfront with everyone on what the memberships pay for.

  1. $200 Immediately it will go to a program called CC4. It’s a more realistic software than VaM, and it allows better character stretching from the get go. It also allows me to easily transfer to unreal engine and allows me to edit freely in Blender to create fatter and better models. Eventually with popularity ill be adding its UE converter and Iclone 8 (giving ridiculous speed in developing animations and character rigging/shading adjustment.) the final cost of it all is about $2,000 but we’ll start off small and get the essentials first.

  2. $1,000: 4070 Ti Super, this graphics cards is peak for what games use. Though there is a 4090, the 70 offers 4k resolution, and allows me to fine tune models. Now everyone doesnt have a badass computer, so i will have 1080p models and 4K renders. Allowing players to play on a lower end or medium computer.

  3. $280 a year: marvelous designer, this is a clothing software. It provides anything between metal, embroidery, cloth to see through silk. The reason for this is to create unique and awesome realistic clothing. That way we dont see the same outfits with every 3D model thats been made. This is a future purchase and not necessary now, but will be an amazing took for things like space suits and dnd type outfits. Plus, you can make them BIG!!! With no stretching on the mesh.

  4. variable cost: voice actresses. For now our first girl will be plaid by a hidden gem of a feedee named Trinity. But i plan to give BBWs and female feeders the opportunity to voice act in this game. Giving neat accents and a realistic “ya stuff that funnel in my mouth mmmmmpppppfffffhhh” quality. When we “dude transfer” in the future ill be looking for male voice actors or if you want to give it a go.

Using CC4 and UE ill be able to match the lips and facial expressions to actions.

So i want to thank you for the already memberships, as this will go directly to what i need to make this game amazing. But i feel honesty is the best policy and wanted to let you guys know exactly what you’re spending your money on.

Things based on popularity: i plan to add merch and 3D models. The advantage of using CC4 is that its easily adaptable to blender and can be altered easily for 3D prints. Sooo if youve ever wanted a 3D fat babe to hold your phone during gaming, i got you! Also may do some booba belleh and dumptruck mouse pads of your favorite girls. (And yes paid members will get a substantial discount once theyre developed) and yes im an indie developer so the models will come in paintable prints, or i can hand paint them for you.

This game will be downloaded via google docs, because of its download space, and it will not meet the Steam community guidelines. Theres going to be a lot of feeding!

But thank you so much for being a subscriber or a future subscriber. It makes an old veteran AAA dev happy that i can create that AAA quality but have the freedom to make it as awesome and BIG as i want to, as well as enjoy doing it.

The hype around this type of game feels insane. If you manage to pull it off you could go down in Weight Gaming history my guy.

Also not to cast any doubt on your abilities as an indie dev but I’m wondering just how much time this would require, and if you have any examples of past private work to share with us, or some initial CC4 renders (in time). It seems like a lot to me, but also I’ve never worked in the games industry lol.

Look forward to seeing and hearing more!

Oh i do, buuut i should probably keep that publicly secret. Most of my work is public, but i dont want to merge the two identities just yet. Once you get known for this sort of work, its hard to get anything practical job wise.

But the length of the game, thats always a good question without a definite answer. Personally this would be a game id like to continue for a couple years. Adding new features, expansions, upgrades. But it really depends on fan base stuff. I’m thinking of doing patches like the Sims did for EA. So youll have your main game, and later updates would add more girls, “missions”, maybe different themes, an expansion to the city.

My honest thought here, if i could do this fulltime, i absolutely would and expand it as far as the fan base would like.

But i apologize for the secrecy of past works. Right now im not paid fulltime to do this… so i have to keep my current job :crying_cat_face: hope you understand.
