Work on finishing Chapter 3 is going really well!

I took a break earlier today to make an idea one of my supporters had, and wanted to post with the premise as a Happy Thanksgiving for everyone!

Anyways, I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey, just finished dairy tale the other day and figured I’d try this one as I’ve yet to be disappointed with your games. Though ran into this error on boot:

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Hitting ignore I think is working?

Interesting. I haven’t seen that one before. I’ll look into this - my guess is there’s some weird edge condition I didn’t account for.

Did you start with the demo or the paid version, and thanks for helping debug!

I had not played the demo before, just a fresh unzip of the paid version.

I was a bit trepidatious at first about the story and just clicking around doing chores as a house wife. But I shouldn’t have worried (since I’ve liked all your games), and this was no different once the story kicked into gear!

Not sure how far through the first ā€˜chapter’ I am, but am looking forward to playing more. Have had a few fantasies come up, and those have been fun.

I like the notion of the random events, but I think I’ve only gotten one. Not sure if they happen in a particular order the lactomax saleswoman was the first one I got at the door.

Trying to think of some other feedback from the initial bits I’ve played through, I just got past the fantasy about eating all the chocolates in the freezer after getting funding.

  1. It’d be nice if the house locations were ordered similarly room-to-room (or maybe have a map?) - i.e. I’d get used to the kitchen being in the 2nd spot on one screen, but then it’s not there in another, so I’d click and go somewhere unexpected.
  2. When visiting the pool while Mia(?) cleaner is there, it’ll end up in a different place than when you normally. Like sometimes after that interaction I have to leave and come back before I can swim? I’m trying to remember the exact sequence here, I’ll make a better note next time I play. Just a small navigation glitch it seems

  3. I’m trying to think back to the very start, but I think it starts off all happy go-lucky until the initial hint at the fetish. But it could be helpful to have the husband be a bit shadier to start to kick in the intrigue of ā€œwhat’s he up toā€ - ā€œis it an affair?ā€ and draw you into wanting to find out. Maybe the first day is searching the house for ā€˜clues’? I did like that its just him double-dipping on his invention in the end and how that snowballs into the current plot.

  4. There doesn’t seem to be much difference between certain room locations. I know if the pool doesn’t get cleaned that’s a thing, but do you have to keep other locations clean? That could be a thing, or does the outside get prettier and attract more salespeople/encounters at the door? It’d be nice if it was more than just going through the house to do math based on your hunger/energy but choices between where to invest your improvements in house maintenance too. Kind of leans into the slower start I felt too, is if there’s a bit more of a purpose to the actions within the house to help drive some initial decisions for me.

I assume things change slightly depending on the initial ā€˜choice’. I’ll look forward to checking that out later after an initial run-through.

Think there’s a small dialogue issue. I just got to the point where the husband returns there’s a line ā€œI love you. Thanks for being patient while I was gone.ā€ which I think is meant to be attributed to the husband and not Molly?

In the start of Ch 2 ā€œYou compete me well.ā€ I believe is meant to say complete?

FYI, Vanessa’s face is not aligned right in her last couple of deliveries.

Thank you x2! I somehow missed the earlier message too. I just fixed both issues.

Oh, I also already added a map for the next release. I’m in debugging for it now, and will be looking into the issues / feedback from a couple of weeks ago while I’m at it - so let me know if you encounter anything else too!

No worries, I’ve been slowly playing out a few bits here and there. Trying to think if there were any other typos or things I noticed, can’t recall anything at the moment, but it’s been a bit since I last played. Finished ch2 now though, excited to see the next update and map and what awaits in ch3!

Some recent dialogue/inconsistencies I noticed in my current session:

  • Is DJ Bob supposed to say hubbyname over just hubby? He uses hubby later in the conversation.

  • Molly also says the end of the event that she’s full-term at 40 weeks, but then the doctor event where the doctor says 36 weeks is after that? Or maybe that’s a timing issue vs. dialogue issue. Unless Molly was exaggerating for the broadcast? nvm, I’m just taking notes too soon, this gets immediately addressed that Molly (or the doctor) is/was confused.

I had a thought for the car driving interludes/transitions: Not sure if you’ve thought of having the belly creep into view as Molly expands? Minor detail but could be fun, especially if she gets too big (or pregnant) to drive at some point to lead-in/build to that moment.

Also, I was surprised about Vanessa not getting asked to become a WG creamerie or something by Molly at the end, maybe that’s a future chapter? (especially after she was offering the others jobs at the shower, and the hint the husband drops in the lab about someone wanting to get big enough beyond the normal room space…)

Some bugs in the weight gallery: First Pregnancy: preg 12* (and beyond) not found. Vanessa: g11b not found.

I fixed DJ Bob’s inconsistency - thanks for that!

Molly’s belly getting in the way would be funny. I should add that - but she does drive in the next chapter too - so I’d be signing myself up for a LOT more renders. It’s a great suggestion but I’ll have to think on it before adding it.

I’m in the process of completely redoing the gallery too - so that should be fixed!

Did you see anything else? I’ll look forward to your feedback on Chapter 3, it’s always appreciated

Awesome, I look forward to the next chapter!

I don’t think there was anything else at the moment. I wrote the last notes after wrapping up Chapter 2.

I haven’t gone back to redo chapter 1 with a different option, been debating how different it’ll be. Is the plan for Chapter 1 to remain like that or for that choice to matter less once Chapter 2 starts? (i.e. smoothed into the same render path?)

That’s correct - Chapter 1 gets converged into Chapter 2. Chapter 3 goes far past Chapter 1 and lets you pick - AE, BE, Preg, WG - and takes that to the extreme.

Ch 1/2 are the background to lead you to 3 and the events there, which lets you choose what transformation goes to the extreme!

Chapter 3 is in an early Alpha release, out for Patrons to test.

There’s bugs and it’s messy, but there’s a lot of content! https://www.patreon.com/posts/124529516.

After the bugs are all squashed, I’ll add some last-minute content suggested by Patrons, add voice acting and music, and then release a full version.
