The Answer: “advanced link”+[/media]

  • (without [media] at begin);

  • (necessarily separated by “Enter”);

Example:
“https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P30q2ee52a8[/media]”

Result:

I couldn’t post videos too, until I found the way by chance.
At weightgaming and google I didn’t find an answer, so I created that topic for dumps like me :wink:

It should be noted that while you can use the old BBCodes to embed media Discourse (our forum framework) will try to auto embed both videos and images if able. So for example this link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD1_eQKWCf8

Will automatically turn into this:

So you do not have to use the old BBCodes, in most cases you can just paste in the link.
