I can't mod atlyss and I only have the free demo

I don’t want to use steam but I only have the atlyss demo and I need to add a mod to my game. Please help me input mods to the game without steam

Most mods don’t work on the demo version, AFAIK.

I am trying to buy the full version carefully

Depends all on the mods. There were a few mods released before the Steam version.

You should be able to mark a game as private when you purchase it. That way, it won’t alert your friends when you’re playing it and won’t tell them that you bought it.

I think it’s a pretty good game at its core, but at worst, modding in extreme weight gain morphs or sex mods. I don’t think anyone would mind you playing it besides furry haters.

“Furry haters” doesn’t cover it. The game’s easy to judge if you’ve got any normie friends or any family on your friend list who might see it (this is what privated purchases are for. Works great as long as you don’t review it.)
I mean if the game’s characters were all just normal furries wearing normal clothes, fine, but the shop keeper is a giant opossum lady with car-sized tits, and you get most of your quests from a dragon lady wearing a revealing top and you get an achievement for slapping her ass.

I put it in the same category as those tiddy (but no nudity) anime games, like, it’s not porn, but it’s not really something you want your family or your drinking buddies knowing you play.

Disclaimer: I make furry inflation content, so this isn’t an “ewww furries” thing.

“This isn’t an “eww furries” thing.”

Uhhh, it kinda is.

Besides, so what? While the characters are exaggerated, I’ve seen worse in kids cartoons back in my day. Besides, it doesn’t hurt anyone. This is what I don’t get about peopl who hate kinks: they don’t hurt anyone, so why judge people for having them, especially paraphinilic kinks?

You’re saying “so what” about kinks in the context of a fetish forum as a fetish forum user, acting like everyone everywhere IRL is okay with big tiddy opossum moms. Not wanting people to get judged is nice and all, but people get judged, that’s just a fact of life.
I don’t say “ew furries” (kinda depends though), but a lot of people IRL do.

I mean, tossing the fact they’re furries aside (which is already bad enough IRL), just walking around wearing a shirt with Angela on it IRL would get you a lot of disapproving stares, maybe some angry moms, maybe even get you booted out of a shop or two or called a misogynist or something.
Sure, she’s SFW as hell to us, but for a lot of people that’s not the case.
At the very least you have to remember that IRL, people consider DDs on a skinny woman as HUGE, the “holy shit my girlfriend got implants, double dees, bro! [everyone high fives]” size.

I don’t know where you go, but I see cry-wokers frequently throwing a tantrum over women in media not having big breasts. Those people would kill (not literally) to have those kind of boobs on their characters, so them actually having big breasts isn’t the worst thing ever.

That being said, I can at least understand those who hate it. Personally, I don’t particularly like the objectification of women through things like that. Though, to be honest, I can at least cut them a little slack for not being human. After all, what’s better? Personal rocks-off action to a fictional character you’ll never effect (if you’re into that kind of stuff) or raping a real woman for their looks because you do not see her as a person? Honestly, them being furries makes it more tolerable, IMO, because I know a lot of people who whine about characters not having big breasts who genuinely treat women in real life like objects, but big-breasted opossum ladies don’t exist in real life.

But the big one, for me, is how close-minded people are to furries in general. I’ve been to this site long enough to know that kinks like big breasts, weight gain, vore, fatness, etcetera, are in no way exclusive to furries. Hell, there are far more non-furries here than furries. Yet, people treat it as a furry exclusive thing. In addition, they ALSO treat having an easier time connecting with anthros over humans as a mental illness that needs to be corrected in the same way they treat trans-gender emotions as a mental illnesss that needs to be corrected. You try going on Twitter/X and not feel ashamed and disgusted of being an asexual white man.

The point I’m ultimately trying to make, even if I’m not sure how well I’m making it, is that it’s ultimately a THEM problem. It’s THEIR problem if they want to be closed minded and judgemental about things. It doesn’t mean shove your interests in their face, but you also shouldn’t have to live in a world where you need to hide things from people, especially not the mere aspect of being a furry.
