I made Steam curator page for BBW games

Hello, this is my first topic on the forum so I hope I’ve picked the right category for it.

Now, I’ll go straight to the point, with more backstory below. As the title says, I made Steam curator page called Games featuring BBW so I’d like to post a link to it in this forum. I saw a topic from 2024 of people looking for Steam curators listing games with content like that and my curator does exactly that thing. Steam community group that the curator is tied to, is open for anyone to join. It would be prideful of me to assume I’ve collected every game with BBW motives so I’m also asking for your help. If anyone knows about existance of game like that which isn’t already on the curator list, please let me know via this topic or thread made for this purpose in section “discussions” on group’s Steam page.

Now the backstory part. The curator and its list are the results of my looking for BBW games in general that made it to Steam. To be added, the game itself didn’t need to be fetish-focused. I took mentioning / presence of one BBW character enough to add the game to curator (vide Dominions 5 casus). Before doing so, I made a query if similar curator hadn’t existed before. My method to check this was to find few BBW titles on Steam, then to open their Steam shop pages, then scroll down to “curators” (just above the “reviews” section) and check what kind of curators have already listed the game. For some BBW games I found no curators listing at all. For some others I found general adult-stuff curators and a giantess oriented one. By seeing there is open space for creating my own curator, I then google-checked query of “bbw steam curator” or something like that. Two results are worth mentioning. First of them being BBW Inclusive Games and the second Fat Acceptance Movement. They both sounded promising, but I quickly found out they include barely any game and were not actively-adding curators (list entries are from years back). Having known this, I’ve started my own and I deeply hope it will prove itself useful for users of this forum and other BBW lovers.

What kind of games are being included in said curator page? I’ve skipped everything with big males becasue there already is a curator for such stuff (I saw it yesterday but I managed to miss the link, sorry! I’ll edit the post if I find it again). When it comes to giantess, I’ve mostly skipped those games becasue there’s a curator Giantess in video games for such stuff, however if one of the giantesses were to be chubby or a BBW by figure, I added games like that. In the end, to furry lovers, I also skipped all furry games because there’s plenty of furry curators on Steam already, even if furries were to be also BBW. For that case, I sticked to “W” meaning in BBW. As you can see, I’ve divided games in two lists, one being for games with BBW by default and the other for Steam games that can be modded to provide BBW experience. So if I missed titles like that as well, please let me know. With everything, I stick to Steam. If the game is already released or TBA it doesn’t matter, I’ll add.

I would really suggest to be using better terms and going into more specifics, especially with character creations. There is also an arbitrary restriction imposed on focusing on larger females. While you claim there is already a curation for larger men, the fact that the distinction exists is a problem by itself.

Of course the curator page is yours to handle exactly the way you want it to with your visions. This is mostly me wishing for a curator page that talk about body diversity, fairness and player choice in the context of fatness.

But my wants aside, I do believe more description on player freedom of choice for body types is warranted.

Thanks for your reply. Going into details of character creation is not necessary in my opinion, as everyone can check “[listed title] character creator” on YouTube which I did myself too. Options ought to be shown in very detail there like with Lords of the Fallen cause. On the existing distinction I followed the same pattern of mentioned Giantess curator, which is focused on, well, the “-ess”. Also this forum uses tags like bbw, furry etc. to divide content so I think going for BBW / SSBBW curator only will make it easier for people looking only for these tags to navigate. Talking about curator page like you described is hard to achieve as going into more details is limited by 200 characters limit of the review. Also, I’ve been in gaming and around for quite a while and what you say, the player choice of body fattness and generally body diversity topic are almost non-existent in mainstream gaming like Steam. I remember great game Rune Factory Frontier which had one bachelorette chubby and you could make her slim down or stay chubby depending on player’s choice (direct question if player likes her that way). Based on my experience / knowledge with the games I listed, if chubby character is present, it’s just that way 99% times. E.g. in Visual Novels I listed, I haven’t come around games with different sprites for different sizes yet. I think only Growth Academy game does it in very detailed way, but it’s non-Steam game. Of course I’d like to see more body diversity in the games but sadly it’s like with Coral Island: 28 romancable characters in the game but only one chubby female. Date Everything game did it better but it’s a rare sight. So player’s freedom of choice is often limited to “Do you take the one bigger girl or not?”.

Hey, you are forgetting “The Pirate’s Fate” Its a game by author T.F. Wright and artist Volkenfox. and it features plenty of BBW furry characters

I’m surprised i didn’t see a game i came across called lost records bloom and rage. You play as a chubby girl who grows up to be a chubby adult.
