So I had an ideal that could work for magic and WG.
In most lore for a game, Magic is drawn from a specific organ in the body, specifically designed for mana, usually called a core.
But the idea is actually more baseline than that, what if the core is only how the body circulates the mana, the actual storage for Mana is within fat cells of a magic user,
It would also explain how royalty and nobles naturally have better mana than peasants in fantasy games, their lavish and excess lifestyles allows the body to store more mana with more fat in the body

A philosopher said that those who should govern are those with a rational soul, and those were the Aristocrats, those who by “nature” are good, because good is rational. And with this and what you say, the aristocrats would be not only the most opulent families, but also the “biggest” the individual, the greater their magic, power (magic), and authority XD
I think it’s an interesting idea :3
And of course the royalty would either keep this a secret, thinking the peseants are too dumb to try to figure it out, or hoard the food so that the less wealthy would have to spend way more to indulge
