some text behind the buttons…
Playing through 0.42 and I’m absolutely loving this game so far. The art style is super cute in my opinion. I have a few questions though. Are there alternate outfits planned for some of the characters? For example, a WcDonald’s uniform for Hazel and etc? Just because some lines of text of course mention different options from what their outfits currently show.
Also I have a few suggestions
1.) A phone system where you can “Call someone to hang out” That may cost extra affection so you can raise specific stats for girls whether it be eating speed, etc. Mainly if you’re unlucky at finding girls at certain locations. Also since some girls are impossible to find at the club currently (from my experiences)
2.) A preferences sheet under the stats menu for each girl that shows a girl’s favorite foods as you unlock them (by feeding the item to them of course) so you can plan easier on how to maximize affection
But definitely keep up the good work! I love this game so far ![]()
just some silly idea:
-be able to slap Sophias/Sherrys Ass
-Finger Mias belly
-Be able to hold up the girls bellies
-Workout outfits
I’m glad to announce that V0.5 Is out now for patrons, and it will be available on itch in a months time. I’m going to get to work on 0.6 right now, every time I add something it just makes it clear what else needs to be added to the game. I’ll post a devblog about my plans for the next update soon.
this happens any time I try to download the PC version of the game on Patreon, has the same thing happened to anyone here?
I seem to get an issue with rebecca, if taken to wcdonalds and stuffed it appears as if she has ingested no calories today but is over capacity?
Funny story, I was just about to post a raft of feedback for 0.4. Guess I’ll put it here anyway.
Summary
Finally got around to playing 0.4. It was great! I have a lot of feedback!
Tbh I hate the pixel font as it is right now. It’s cramped towards the tops and bottoms of letters but baggy in the middle. Lowercase t and f’s bars should sit near the tops of short letters like c and e, down-reaching letters like y and g don’t have room to go down like they should, and capitals don’t look very capital. Meanwhile e and s are luxuriously stretched-out. Put it all together, and a common word like “athletic” reads like a jumbled mess.
I would recommend either using a more average looking pixel font, or editing the existing one so that e and friends top out one pixel lower and sit one pixel higher, giving taller letters the room they need. Also the commas are backwards, lowercase i should have less serif, and the dashes are too short.
If you don’t want to edit the font (it is a lot of letters to change…), please consider adding the option to use another one. There are some excellent free pixel fonts that won’t trigger nerds like me.
(Edit before post: I got used to the font as I played, but it still made a strong negative first impression)
Moving on from font stuff, Hazel is soo cute and charismatic! When I had the choice of who to go talk to first, I really wanted to hang out with her even though there were plenty of new character’s I’ve never seen before.
When first meeting Sophia, her description (“Her black pencil skirt…”) overflows the textbox. Also her sprite doesn’t show a black pencil skirt.
On the one hand, I wouldn’t give up that view of Sherry’s ass for anything. On the other, it’d be good to keep seeing her facial expressions. And don’t ask me where I got this third hand, but her sprite makes my neck hurt. Maybe have the head turned a little less, so we see it more side-on, and have her hips and back facing not straight at us but still showing about the same view?
The kitchen BG is great, except that blue shadow on the corner of the fridge. The hue is just too different from the rest of that face; it should be brownish
instead. Or the fridge could be pale blue?
“A week later, your find Rebeccaa…” Woah woah woah! We were just having a quick chat and now seven days have passed? What typea Click (2006) shit is this? Of course, the time doesn’t actually pass, but for a moment it sounded like it had.
Lucy’s first café event mentions her ponytail but she still has her usual drills on.
When you feed Lucy a mass gainer shake, the description mentions her “picking up the next forkful”. In general the drinks are all described as if they’re solid food.
Hazel’s curves are “emphasized by the snug uniform she wears”, but she’s wearing her usual casual outfit.
“…offering her some relief, but the hazel_weight and roundness…”
“Rebecca has left the fast_food”
Someone’s “daily calories consumed has increased by 1300!” What does this mean? Is there a stat this affects?
I keep hitting escape to close the stats menu, but instead it opens another menu (the Ren’py one). Of course I know why this happens, but I keep doing it, because ESC should mean “go back”, no matter what.
Mia is perhaps a little too good at gaining weight on her own. I hung out with her twice early in my run and, because I tried to work on the skinniest girl to keep the pack moving at a similar pace, I pretty much never saw her again. That said, she didn’t leap ahead of the rest so she’s close to well-tuned IMO.
About affection as a resource: It makes sense from a game-economy perspective, and partly makes sense with the theme (closer friends get more say on whether to push your boundaries). But it feels weird and backwards that hanging out with someone and having a good time… depletes affection? Did I do something to offend them? I’m not sure what you’d have to name that stat to make it sound like what it is… “social battery” maybe? But then it should recharge a little every day and deplete when feeding… I think better just to have affection increased by hangouts and decreased by time passed.
Speaking of stats, Capacity and Fullness act almost exactly the same, and their names sound like the same idea too. I would pick a winner and delete the other, or else make them as distinct as possible. Maybe related: I couldn’t find a stat for how hydrating/dehydrating an item is, even though feedees will sometimes talk about that.
It would be nice to unlock some kind of progression gallery for a girl once you reach her final weight stage. And getting to see new outfits as friendship progresses.
And some positive feedback for balance: Every single character has appealing sprites and personality! It feels fun and sexy to hang out and feed them stuff. The new locations and characters fit well with what existed before, and this new apartment intro is much better that the “fat school” one. I just keep wanting more of this game.
additionally, i’m trying to see some of these new multi-character scenes, would it be better to filter schedules by building rather than character?
e.g.
looking at the gym to find days when Rebecca and Mia are there.
or
looking at mall to see times when both sherry and sophia or hazel and mia are there
ok, despite only interacting with mia once, I was unable to see the rebecca3_mia1_gym scene
Because I’m curious, what’s the differences between V0.4 and V0.5? I’m debating joining the patreon, haha.
You make bigger sizes look so good and I can’t wait to see the following ones, godbless.
The only issues would be that currently there are plenty of events that either crash or soft-lock the game as you progress, and some text windows are too small to show you the full text in lower resolutions.
Sophia’s expressions tend to desync with her model and appear slightly elevated, Mia, Sherry and Lucy can keep gaining weight after their current max size, and that will show a red “[name]81image missing”.
Hazel will keep on crashing the game if you ask her to hang out at wcdonalds, and so on.
While it might be more convenient to post them in the comments as well, the author has the changelogs in the original post.
I’m liking the game so far (only version 0.4), especially how Lily gains basically no weight in her arms or face, but there are a few problems or oddities I have come across.
While waiting at the dorm, it would sometimes crash. Seems to be calling a “waist_event45” that doesn’t exist. Not sure if you caught that in the next version, but do be aware.
Lily’s max capacity only gets as far as 3100 ml. Meanwhile all of the other girls can grow to 6000 ml or even 8000 ml. What’s stopping her from being able to fit more food inside her?
The pixel art-style gives me deep fried memes vibe for some reason, especially in the dorm and wcdonalds, but is otherwise nice.
Looking forward to version 0.5 in a few months!
Crashing when attempting to enter the gym after awhile. Id post the script but dont remember how to send it in a neat way without it becoming a wall of text on here
Another crash at sophia stage 6 in mcwonalds after she says she needs to calculate her trajectory
The issues at hazel_hangout.rpy, reb_hangout.rpy, sherry_hangout.rpy are because the functions setfull2 and setfull3 are used. Seems like they should be set_full2 and set_full3 instead.
Really enjoying the v0.5 update via Patreon. I hadn’t played since v0.3 so there’s been a lot of changes to catch up on!
Edit: sherry_event.rpy line 779 has jump city_menu when I think it should be jump mall_menu
Thanks for all the feedback guys, I’m working on getting everything working properly and hopefully implement the suggestions into the next version.
Forgot 1 more when it attempts to look for bust 9 for mc. Was using debug item at that time so not sure if that affected it
A ton was literally added 2 days ago? lol
Some more things I come across while playing:
- When feeding the girls, there would sometimes be a description that involves forks. I don’t think there’s a single piece of food in this game that actually requires a fork. Everything seems to either be handheld or a drink.
- Compared to the other body parts, you can really blow lily’s hips up with barely any investments in stats (digestion rate and eating speed).
- There’s basically no drawbacks for increasing stats. There should be something like a monetary cost for doing them, limited to a certain amount per day, a softcap based on Lily’s current stage, or the ones that involve eating food actually cause Lily to eat food. It just doesn’t make sense for there to be an event describe Lily having a hard time eating a few burgers in a row but she can repeat that event six to eight times a day.
- The bar food doesn’t seem to be tied to a body part, so you may end up with the weird case where Lily is 200kg or bigger and still looks thin from eating nothing but pizza.
- There doesn’t seem to be any reason to study at the cafe since the rate of increasing expansion is so slow it might as well not exist. Also just stuffing Lily for a couple days easily gets her to her new max capacity.
- I think back in an earlier release, you could see current capacity and calories consumed in a stat bar in the top left. Now you can’t see those things until the end day summary. Just seems important to have that info available at a glance.
- Not a bug, but just a shame that Lily doesn’t actually eat any of the food offered to her during hangouts.
In general, your paths are either fatten up the other girls, fatten up Lily, or both. I think there should be options where the other girls attempt to feed Lily; like once Sophia buys the cafe, there should be a hangout where she has Lily eat a bunch of sweets and pastries. Heck, if there was just one more character in this game, she could be like a mirror image of Lily: Gains weight evenly, doesn’t want to get fat herself, and constantly tries to feed Lily. A challenge to overcome when you don’t want to gain weight, and an ally when you do want that.
tldr: Feedee Lily would be nice, maybe even a new feeder girl to interact with.
