Does the difference between waist/hip/bust weight gain only effect the MC? And NPCs only either like or dislike foods and the foods they’re fed have no bearing on how they’ll gain?

How do you make/get lily (yourself) to eat something?

Go to the kitchen at the apartment when you have purchased food and you can eat it.

I discovered my issue, there’s a lack of feedback if you’re too full to eat, I just added an extra message to explain to myself why the button wasn’t doing anything :slight_smile:

Speaking of things I don’t understand well, is there any reason not to just pick one favorite food item per girl and fill your inventory with nothing else? It doesn’t seem like there’s a reason to stock variety?

Early on when girl’s stomach sizes are low you can min max their more limited meter and ensure you fill it up all the way. If you buy too much of one food type you might run into situations where a girl’s stomach is half full, but she won’t eat what you give her because it will push per past her max capacity, or you may exhaust her stamina before her capacity is full, leading to slower weight gain.

It only really matters if you are trying to gain weight quickly. Otherwise it will just take longer to get through stages.

It’s not really explained well but actually every girl has some unique mechanics that change the effects of food. For example Rebecca gets reduced capacity increases from consuming the same food multiple times, while Hazel gets reduced capacity increases from alternating drinks and meals. I will try and make this more of a factor in future updates. As for the feedback for the MC eating, that is something that will be addressed in the next version alongside a few more changes to how the player character interacts with the story.

She out weighed the program

This game looks really promising. I tested the 0.42 version and liked it really much. The graphics looks really cute and the base game mechanics seems to work alright. Here is some constructive criticism:

  • While at the start of the game the dorm is presented like buzzing life but after that it feels like pretty empty place, mostly used for player to just eat and sleep. I feel like there definitely should be more (random) events there to make it look more that people actually live there. Maybe even possibility to visit other girls rooms should they be at home.

- Also who actually lives where? Later on when Rebecca ask you to join her feast the game says that the player is sitting at Rebecca’s apartment and after the feast if you chose order pizza and after Rebecca is done with it she asks you to order her an Uber because she can’t walk home?

  • I would also like to see the girls interacting more with each other. It does happen in some events now, but it makes me most of the time feel that while it looks like they are there together in the screen they really aren’t there together. And like some people here already mentioned, the other girls should definitely react to the players gain as well.

  • While everyone loves free rides I personally miss a bit of challenge for this game. Now you just wait for tomorrow to get more money → go to buy required food thingies → find the girl and stuff her → Rinse and repeat. At least I would think it would be more fun if there was at least bit challenge in it like in form that you actually have to earn the money somehow or at least go to school or something. On the other hand, it would be more fun if certain interactions had a positive effect to certain character while having negative one at some other. It would force people to choose more careful without not always knowing the end result, just like in real life, adding up bit more challenge to it.

  • As of now, does the affection value have any other purpose than enable the hang out option? Like does having affection amount of 150 for certain character enable something more than having just 50? If no, I think it would be nice to have higher level enabling more deep and intimate moments.

  • Inventory, is there one? There seems to be some sort of limit how many different things you can have but can I see somewhere what do I have in my inventory?

  • The clock should be displayed at the map screen and I think certain things should definitely be timed more accurately. Like club could only be open at the evenings/night time. Also the park-like are in the map could be like nice location for a date or picnic with somebody.

The dorm is a location that will have more prominence in the next update, with events characters hanging around and the like. Some of the events were written before I had decided to have everyone live at the dorm so that is why the older characters had their own apartments before. Thanks for reminding me though, I’ll make adjustments to that.

The next update focuses a lot more on multi-character events so that may make it feel more interconnected.

Originally the game had a tetris minigame that you had to play to make money but it was kinda tedious and I got quite a few complaints about it so I removed it. I would like to implement a gameplay system that interacts naturally with the weight gain aspects of the game, I have some ideas mulling around but nothing concrete yet.

The affection stat is currently only being used for hangouts that increase stats. I’d like to think of a more extensive way to utilize it so I was thinking of maybe linking some date events to it. That said the way it works right now naturally does have the player increase affection by feeding the girls which in turn increases their weight allowing the player to see the main story events. I would like to pivot the main story events to be more date like though.

The inventory was in the game but I’m reworking it to look nicer and to possibly have some more actions.

I also want to rework the clock and timing for events which is in the works for 0.5. Unfortunately having some locations open only some of the time would require lots of additional events, currently some girls only hang out at certain locations because I haven’t got events for them at all locations. As I add more stuff I would really like to make time limited locations so that the world can feel more real and natural.

I don’t think the money earning system has to be necessarily a minigame, at least for now, but at least something even if just a choice that consumes certain amount of time so it makes player having to balance out with available money and time. And since they are students there could also be similarly implemented school system too that takes certain amount of time. As of now despite there being time and weekday cycle in the game neither of them doesn’t have much impact on anything. Like when Rebecca says she always go to gym early in the morning, but you can find her from there pretty much in any time of the day. Timing certain events and character actions to be available only in certain days and times of the day would also give sense to the pass time option at the home.
