Inflation Gacha Game filling up vram on linux

i’ve been trying to run the game on my pc but everytime i try to run it just starts taking a lot of vram and freezes up my machine, most vram i’ve seen it take is about 12gb (probably taking some of my actual ram since i have an iGPU).

is this a problem with the game or just linux?
