hehe, Iā€™m a big fan of arm flab. So soft, delightfully supple ~

Also the fitness factor doesnā€™t play into much yet, but I do plan on it being a kind of ā€œhow soon immobility/weight related troublesā€ kick in. A scaling factor, so those who donā€™t want to be burdened can be high fat with high fitness and not be bothered while those that want a little sweat and struggle here or there can enjoy the effects of lowered fitness ~

hehe Iā€™m glad. Yeah, Nicoā€™s still on the back burner for the moment. But, defs, shared feeding is something I plan with him. Heā€™ll be particularly fond of smoked mackerel or fried blubber ~

Heā€™s penchant to making soups, but fried or smoked goods will be his weakness when it comes to gifts (outside cigars or fancy fishing lures)~

Iā€™ve noticed an odd effect of fitness level of player weight. It makes sense for there to be some scaling factor, but being around 70-75 led to my starting fatless character being a lot heavier (firmly overweight bmi) than one might expect given the descriptions generated, espectially since they donā€™t seem to account for fitness right now.

@Parnash interesting. Do you mean, like, just a mutation to increase arm fat, or do you mean like, specific types of arm mutations or such?

@cheddar apologies If I misunderstand. But a character you tried to make thin was made heavy/high bmi after setting a high fitness?

In my current test, if you select the smallest level of fat and muscle and shortest starting height the character weight should be about 101 lb, average height with the lowest starting fat and muscle ends up at around 113 lbs. Fitness doesnā€™t or shouldnā€™t effect weight, its a factor that just indicates how well the character handles their given weight.

Or wait, are you perhaps saying that itā€™s just the description panel thatā€™s describing a small character larger than they should be?

If you have a screen shot, or at least your characters height and weight compared to the violating descriptions, thatā€™d be helpful for finding the bug :smiling_face:

Summary

she/her, cis, average height, ā€˜not muchā€™ fat, above average muscle, flat breasts, tiny clit and 75% fitness

Weight ends up at about 153 after char creation and goes up from there.

e: To further the point, leaving muscle as average but keeping the fitness boost lowers starting weight to 133lbs. Like I said, this does make ~some~ sense given muscle is more dense than fat, but I would expect maybe half the impact and descriptions more akin to an elite bodybuilder.

Oh, I see. Okay, so, basically ā€œabove averageā€ muscle adds 50lbs of muscle to the character, average is about 25. Muscle in general isnā€™t really set up yet in the descriptions, just fatness, so a character heavy with muscle but no fat is likely to be described as thinā€¦ Fitness doesnā€™t effect weight or muscle, itā€™s a separate factor

Whats happening is I simply havenā€™t described a muscular player character yet. I do plan on it, just as I plan on having stuffed/preg belly descriptions versus soft/fat belly descriptions. Itā€™s just double the work and hasnā€™t been a big priority just as of yet. But its in the plans

The Coven of Cetacea sounds like an interesting thingā€¦ what plans do you have for the coven? I would like to be able to become part of the coven, because of that Laurent guy who apparently cam adjust your body to your specifications, I wonder if I can get some of that power for myself. Maybe the * Dreamweaving training: School of Gluttony thing could be an option for me if it gets added in.

The coven will be a later area, Iā€™m building up to it. Thereā€™s like story beats to it, but its also just a lot that needs to be written first. But the covenā€™s camp will be a zone full of this type of fleshy hedonistic demons. Theyā€™ll have a parasite boutique, flesh crafting witches, orgies and of course, pits of endless corrupting slop, lol

Itā€™ll be for those that want to dive deep into hedonistic revelry ~

The Baronet is our first taste of it and exploring the caldera is just a tease more. Blairā€™s story line will tie in when i get that more implemented ~

Since Iā€™m a sucker for specific fat descriptors and the like, I suppose I have to ask.

Any plans for further worse fitness and such or just straight up weight related health issues, though I know thatā€™s not everyoneā€™s cup of tea? I know itā€™s not a thing for everyone but I love it so I have to ask. Including incorporating poor fitness into scenes and such.

Or things like further descriptors for certain parts, really getting into the details - back, maybe even fat tails if the characters anatomy permits, or whatever else could come up.

And I noticed popup notifications for being sweaty - could maybe have descriptors for how sweaty they are?

Stretch marks, cellulite, that sort of thing too.

Lol I totally forgot to add back fat descriptors. Oops. Iā€™ll for sure put those in when I can. As for fat tails, etc, thatā€™ll certainly be something Iā€™d add, provided thereā€™s tails that would notably gain weight, like a gecko tail or an insectoid abdomen or such.

Stretchmarks and cellulite will be added eventually, theyā€™re also my preference, but I know itā€™s not for everyone. I might make it a toggle or just add items that can make them go away (or maybe some that make them worse. Hmm)

As for fitness, itā€™ll certainly play more into things later. I donā€™t have plans for any weight related health issues per say, but it will effect mobility and add flavor to thing (effort, sweating, out of breath. Etc)

So what is each body shape? Like, where does the fat go with each one?

Each adjusts were the majority of fat is held, each area will still receive some fat, it just picks where the lions-share will go. The exact break down is shown in the debug menu

Pear shaped is more bottom heavy, most of the weight goes to the hips, bottom and thighs. Triangle Shape is a more extreme version of this.

Bean shape is more bottom and middle heavy, its similar to the pear shape, but a little less thigh and hips, and more belly and butt

Hourglass is more chest heavy and hip/bottom heavy

Apple shaped is more chest heavy and belly heavy

Strawberry shaped is mostly chest heavy

Average is well, average, with nothing being particularly emphasized as much

Thank you for your patience. A lot has been going on. to keep it brief, had to host my homophobic parents for a bit, my partner and I are going through a pregnancy and we caught covid. So, been out of commission to say the least.

Anyways, thanks to support. I finally got a bit of an update for Insatiable Hearts. Itā€™s a bit of a meandering one and likely buggy given some of this was made during these troubled days and my brain is still a bit mush while Iā€™m recovering. But hopefully itā€™s still enjoyable.

Additions

  • Debug has been rearranged and new options have been added. Player body proportions can now be minutely tweaked.
  • The system can now calculate up all body parts and determine and assign species
  • Changes in species now has a status message to reflect this
  • Blob mutagens now cause 4 new tfs, the player can now grow a lard filled udder-sack, a cobra like veil, greased hair and a drooly shark-like maw.
  • Slime mutagens now cause a new mutation, ā€œPhotosyntheticā€, which allows the player to gain calories passively over time, up to a max level of 5 per minute
  • Pig mutagens now cause a new mutation, the soft translucent peach fuzz skin type
  • Cow mutagenā€™s now have a new mutation, cow spot pattern skin type
  • The inventory system has been remodeled, using a tagging system and more universalized stats. The Inventory can also now be organized by item type to avoid clutter and automatically sorts alphabetically.
  • Various small areas of the game now react to the players weight at different tiers. Notably floorboards creak in the harbor areas or having to squeeze through trees in the swamp
  • Player customization now includes hair styles. Each style has unique descriptions at different hair lengths
  • Hair very slowly grows in length over time now
  • Slime mutagens now have an additional TF, ā€œslime hairā€
  • The Harbor region now has an exploration option, it largely shows various sight around the boardwalk, a number of happenings among the crowds
  • The harbor region now includes an option to check out the pier resulting in two new zones
  • Added new area to harbor region, Bethanieā€™s Beauty Boutique. Bethanie can change the playerā€™s hair cut, hair color, eye color and even skin color in a wide variety of scenes and options
  • New character Bethanie will on occasion have a stuffed belly, resulting in an option to flirt. This can result in a sex scene
  • Added a new area to the harbor region, The Oojinn Junk shop. This new character can be talked to for a variety of scenes as well as being able to buy items from and sell items to them.
  • Created a new automatic link generation system to fill in the Oojinnā€™s inventory as well as the playerā€™s sellable inventory
  • The harbor region now includes a variety of flavor scenes while exploring
  • Added a new item, Cheese-cake slice
  • Added a new item, Oojin Jam, which causes slime tfs
  • Added a new encounter to the harbor region. A drone carries a package of sweet smelling goods. The player can choose to chase it down and steal its contents for a new item and an increase in gluttony and greed
  • Added a new item, Dilluted Wilderberry Juice, which causes berry tfs
  • Added berry mutagens and TFs, including weight gain, stomach capacity increase, perma juice, and pear-shapped changes

x Numerous Spelling and grammatical mistakes have been corrected. Community shout out to Fwip for the help!
x Fixed the cow leg transformation not removing from the transformation pool after already being acquired
x Fixed the status message for thigh grow incorrectly showing the down sizing message in some circumstances
x Fixed non-human arm descriptions blending together because of a broken conditional

x Fixed Fryfliā€™s stew not applying stat changes to the player

~ Hornā€™s now have a size factor, neph and cow tfā€™s now have repeated horn growth options to reach larger horn sizes
~ The cascade travel scenes now accommodate the meadow and the shore regions
~ The harbor can now be slept and rested in
~ All regions now have sleeping and resting scenes written
~ Resting on the shore of the astral sea now has a small chance to increase lucidity

I guess in summary: new inventory system, new items, fleshed out harbor and merchants, a new character, some new sex scenes and a handful of mechanics as well as some environmental reactions to players weight gain among other small details ~
