A Kinky Youtube channel to Post some Weight games gameplay, speedruns, and some of my spicy speedpaints, but it got me thinking;
Is there a public for such Nich content? I mean, does the Community want such a thing? maybe for the people who can´t affort or play those games or for more people to discover our little place…
SquirrelGirlDGT does basically that with nearly 100k subscribers so there’s definitely a market for it. You would have to heavily censor everything though else your channel will just be deleted. Of course, there are other platforms you could consider but I don’t watch any of that personally so idk which would be best.
There is certainly a “market” for it, and I know I would definitely watch. Just look at the Japanese, they have tons of playthroughs/walkthroughs of kinky games on YouTube. From a simple "kink enjoyer’ perspective it’s nice to see the variety of games available and discover new ones, like you said. But as a dev it’s also cool to see what people are into.
“”“Technically”“” Youtube doesn’t allow channels like that, as they have rules against posting anything that has the intention of making people horny, regardless of context.
Like, I think I make this example a bit too often, but a channel dedicated to recording and posting every single barefoot clip to ever exist, all for the purpose of being fapped to by people into feet is okay so long as they don’t start adding things like “found these hot feet on [show] last night” or “if you want more delicious feet, join the Foot Fetish Society, my Discord server!” to the video’s description. The second a video/channel is seen as a fetish/kink channel, the clock starts ticking and videos start getting wiped, or the channel disappears one day.
Could be a channel about knees, which is SFW as hell, but if it’s a “knee fetish channel” it’s gone.
I think this is why the channels that survive the longest are the ones that frame it like it’s something “funny”, or they say nothing at all.
Like there’s several vore channels I’ve seen where all the videos are titled something like “Whoa there, that’s not food!” or “Careful with those pies!” or whatever, those will likely survive longer because they’re not framed as porn and it’s more vague about why that content’s being posted (even though it’s obviously for vore.)
That said, my own Youtube channel lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, but then one video was struck down and I got a strike, then two more videos were taken down (no strikes though), then nothing for a while, then all of a sudden, no warning, no appeal, no nothing, the whole channel is gone, struck down by Google.
(EDIT: also yeah, other people DO make channels about vore and inflation and whatever, so this isn’t a “no”, it’s a "be careful and don’t start calling your videos “HOT BITCH CHUGS CAKE SHAKES LIKE IT’S CUM (18+)” and expecting they’ll last long.)
