It's What You Wanted

pretty decent text adventure

I wish more games were like this. Don’t get me wrong I suck at finding shit in the game but I fuckin love the POV. We don’t get enough blob pov games.

Really love this idea. We need more games which focus on the little details of life at this size, I’m a sucker for immobility. It would be great if this game was expanded on or influenced others to make games like it. Personally, I would love to see this concept where the player can move their head freely. Either way, this is great and hope to see more.

i’ve gotten all the achievements expect one
i’ve eatten the windows and everything else, took inventory, and the rest of the acheivements but one still alludes me

so here all the achievements i managed to get

how do i get the last one?

I just realized, ingame it says you’re someone of indeterminate gender, but you put the SSBBW tag on this thread, which implies female. Sooo, are we playing as a female?

found everything without help and felt pretty proud of myself, except I just cannot find the last thing seen. super stumped. Great game tho! hope yall win

Have a bug: when I put Fart loudl or burp loudl I have this (I play on Android btw)

Try using the web version instead?

are there like 8 achievements or is it a bug? since i could get 7 outta eight of them

It costs MB from my mobile Wi-fi, I prefer not…

Very cool game so far! Love the premise, the model/animations are really nice, the level of polish on this is really impressive. I like the sarcastic tone of the writing too, though I’d love to see this expanded upon (hah) with some more indulgent outcomes, cause the basic act of just trying to consider your options as a blob is just a lot more immersive than the typical text game. Only gripe is that a few solutions were pretty vague and I ran out of ideas with only about half the environment observed, but it was still really fun to try to figure things out in this setting.

I just made an account to post this here.

JUDGES’ VERDICTS:

The writing style is witty and funny, and the text-based adventure style is well executed mechanically. 3d models work nicely and the animations look good too. Mixing immobility with text-based adventure style gameplay is an interesting concept, but not having any clear goal for the player character makes it mostly just a game of typing random mixtures of verbs and nouns to see what happens. I assume this was the intent, which is bold and clever, but it’s hard to get immersed in the story of the game without a diegetic goal. Overall very charming and nice to look at/listen to. Homestarrunner reference was also appreciated.

One wonders what pact Peach made with the devil this time to summon these dark arts of RPG Maker wizardry. A technical masterclass of pushing an engine to its limits and beyond… However, the game itself and its pursuant gameplay did have its limitations - in part from replicating the experience of being an immobile blob perhaps a bit too well.
.
After the initial fun of being a blob, it soon turns out that, hey, being immobile just ain’t all that it’s cracked up to be (who knew?). Amusing dialog and achievements could only mask the hunt-and-peck style of gameplay interactions of combining verbs and nouns for so long, when you’re reduced to just fixating on every piece of visible furniture. One reading this may be screaming “But that’s the point!” in response, but should verisimilitude of the situation override good and compelling gameplay, reducing the game to more of a novelty or a curio? I myself am not sure.
