For some reason whenever I try to leave the room to go to the office I get blasted. I’m not sure what I’m missing.
patch seems to have fixed everything with liona, altho at the very end of her quest i believe she doesn’t show up at the pod array and just jumps directly to the cadet room while also skipping her last quest step, additionally i believe the captain is still broken, specifically in that she won’t accept the fuzzy creatures as food in her last(?) stage, this could be me misunderstanding what she meant by “eating something whole” but i’m assuming it’s just a bugged interaction. FWIW i tried with both the portrait variants of the fuzzy creatures and neither seemed acceptable.
Are you at the last, or have you skipped the odd creatures? There are many fixes already done to some of the things you bring up in your comments. If you haven’t already: consider joining the discord where there is an active bug reporting forum for each of the games I have made Have a good one!
Also: my games are now outgrowing the text-adventures webpage, and as such I may have to pull the web version support for this one. I don’t think the website is well enough maintained to really add much for the finished games anyway, but I wanted to warn you guys.
i cant give the donuts to lavender, what am i doing wrong?
You need to place the box on the table.
im trying but it just says that i use the box of donuts and it doesn’t subtract from my inventory and no text shows up either. maybe its a bug?
i’ll reset the game and see if it fixes that
It has worked fine in my own testing. Please report back any findings. Next update ETA: end of the coming weekend. It will remove gore option, include the last missing pictures and hopefully fix any currently reported bugs. After that I will need some proofreaders and bugtesters to do a final scan before a final release will be out
adding sausage meat to the dark salesman shop might be a good idea, i gave em all to hela without realising i’d need some for the captain.
Beardo is going to set a record of completed games released to the public in a years time! Fastest AI dev I’ve ever met
I have been pondering how much “player-saving” I should do in my games, or if I should simply let some things stay unfinishable for the player if they do something wrong. This is one of those things that fell on the unfinishable side when I had that debate with myself. I may have to reconsider
Don’t know if this is high praise or something else Do know my writing and coding are all human made (as you can see from the horrendous spelling and bad code) the images are all AI, but I hope you people can see they are getting better as I go. At least that is what I am trying for.
I really enjoy these games in general and the writing is excellent. Such fun characters and innovative stories. However, having to feed each character (open the box, select the item, click use, find the person on the list, click on them) plus dealing with the containers and the super full inventory (because I don’t want to have to go fetch boxes every minute) and do all of that like 8 times per gain stage x 7 stages per character x 10 characters really wears me down. It’s a shame, because I end up not finishing the games, and I miss out on great content.
There seems to be a bug where the Captain will revert to wanting protein bars even after she tells you she wants different food.
I feel your pain, and may have a solution planned already. You may have noticed Joseph collects a few trinkets of odd powers as he goes along his journey (and that weight gain seems to speed up each time he does). There may be a certain ring in his posession soon enough that speed things along even further in the near future. Check back in Church of Lust
Will look into it tonight
Seeing as you’ve cranked out 1-4 games in what seems to be a years time is very fast for even an AI dev. Ik you may make errors or mistakes, but most people who play your game understand what you are trying to convey in spite of said spelling errors or mistakes tbh.
We are at the fifth game at the moment. Two finished, one almost finished. One deep in development/restarted and one new project. Speaking of new project: small preview look at that one coming out today.
