Hi! I’m posting here to promote my new game that’s almost complete.
This game combines short strategic mini-games with storytelling, featuring 6 stages of WG sequences and 2 endings (~20 minutes of playtime). The best part is that I made sure it runs in web browsers, so you can play it on mobile devices too. And as shown in the video, you can interact with her fat using Live2D morphing - yes, you can make it jiggle!
You’ll help her - a former Overwatch member whose combat duties have ended in a peaceful world - safely return to Earth.
However… it seems there’s a leak problem with her spacecraft’s fuel tank? As we all know, even a small liquid leak in spacecraft parts can be fatal, so someone needs to contain those droplets somewhere. If that fuel turns out to be much tastier and more addictive than expected, the process should be quite enjoyable!
I am giving early access to my Patreon supporters and getting their feedback to adjust difficulty and fix bugs. I plan to release it for free to the public in about 2 weeks (Feb 23rd). If you want to play it early while supporting me, I would really appreciate if you subscribe to my Patreon!
huge props for making memories in calories, it was a unique and interesting game, but i’d reccomend using less ai, as it was quite apparent on the title screen of said game, and although it would take more effort & time, i imagine that it would be much appreciated in the community
In my first game, I used AI for most elements, including the character sprites. However, I realized it was difficult to control the specific details I wanted. Since then, I’ve been gradually reducing AI-generated content in my subsequent works. Still, as an indie developer with limited resources, I find it reasonable to delegate minor aspects to AI so I can focus on the important parts. I’ll try to find a good balance between efficient development and creating content that won’t make too many people uncomfortable!
look i just wanted to ask if there might be a problem realesing the game because its the 24th today and you said that we would be able to play it for free on the 23rd so why Arent we able to play the game yet?
Please understand if developers miss deadlines by a day or two - it happens all the time!
Anyways, I just posted the public release, so please enjoy and let me know what you think!
It was a cute little game! Felt a one-and-done was more than enough, haha. If I could like, replay stages to fail the last one on purpose instead of running through the whole game again, that’d be great. But, unlocking all the sizes was more than enough for me.
Thanks! I didn’t want to make this game require multiple playthroughs, but I still felt we needed to reward players who replay the game. So I decided that having different endings based on perfect clear status would be enough.
I just updated v1.2, which now supports 7 languages.
It includes Spanish, German, Russian, French, Korean, and Japanese translations. Although I used machine translation, recent AI performance is quite impressive, so the translation quality turned out pretty decent.
